TTTE headcanon story I had.
Splatter and Dodge were just every other BR Class 08 shunters just dimwitted and idiotic. One day they discovered that they’re being replaced and are soon to be scrapped like the other diesels. Realizing that Sodor might be their only hope for survival, they fled that night without getting caught. They eventually proved to the other engines that they were useful and had learnt from their past mistakes.
I like that head cannon. I wish we did get to see Splatter and Dodge again after Tatmr, I hope their alright.

...Ok but what if Rook, in his infinite weirdness, was just a little pup when he first arrived on Sodor. As an engine he's just a normal M7 tank engine, but when he takes his human shape he's like the size of a can of soda and only speaks in squeaks and chitters... Like he still had to actually GROW into his human shape. Of course, someone would have to be in charge of that because like. No one else on the damned RW has time for a BABY ffs they're busy...

Here’s my idea for a TTTE movie.
The main seven along with Sir Topham Hatt all head to America after receiving a letter from his childhood friend who requested for the engines to be part of his daughter’s birthday. The engines have a hilarity filled misadventure and also learn Sir Topham’s friend isn’t as good as he lets on.
That sounds interesting. It would be cool to see all the main engines be in America, as well as to see how the engines would react to the state of railways in America and how different they are than those on Sodor.
