My mother didn't care for my father. My father didn't cared for my mother.

They merely existed in a marriage they were put into.

They tried to run though. My mother tried to say yes to another man. My father ran away from the city.

They were brought together anyhow.

My mother didn't loved my father, she loved stability much more to do so. My father didn't loved my mother, he held freedom much precious to do so.

They coordinated enough to be there for each other. They supported enough to survive through times.

My mother didn't liked my father, she was shoved into the marriage world very young. My father didn't liked my mother, he had his life planned very ahead.

They just beared each other to live through time.

They didn't appreciated each other.

So my mother didn't cared for me as much as she did to the other children.

So my father didn't liked me enough to think of him in my future.

They did raised me though.

They raised me into a systematic human. Who controls her tears in public but forget to let them out in private.

Who knows exactly what to say to others but doesn't remember the words for herself.

Who always leads but never becomes the leader.

Unfortunately for my mother, I am like my father and fortunately for her daughter, she likes her father.

Although as a daughter, her father is the perfect man to exist, as a woman that man is a bad husband.

I do wish everyone gets a father like him, I do not hope anyone gets a husband like him.

Sadly for my father, I inherited my mother's stubbornness, gladly, his daughter never uses it against him.

Yet as a daughter, her mother is the worst mother undeserving of a child, as a woman, she is the epitome of maternal love.

I hope every child gets a mother like her, but I wish she was a mother to me.

I do not hate my mother, but my good future never includes her.

I do love my father, but my ideal man is never his reflection.

My childhood would always call for my mother's love to even caress me but my teenage years will always yearn for my father's affection.

At the end, my adulthood will always be with herself with sneaky eyes searching for fondness.

I will always be my father's baby and my mother's daughter.

That man will never accept me as a daughter. That woman will never see me as her baby.

Because God has a sense of humor, and I am one of his best jokes.

I cannot take the Olympics anymore. athletes are dropping out bc the Seine made them sick. Athletes are sleeping in parks because accommodations are terrible. Vinesh Phogat (India) is disqualified from her gold medal final because she is a 100gms overweight (which is insane btw). Media, reporters and coaches are being racist af towards SEA and Asian athletes. Imane Khelif had to face persecution over her body and gender because someone was a sore loser.

I cannot take the Olympics anymore.

She defeated japan's yui susaki, who has never been defeated by an international player and was the Tokyo olympics' champion in the round of 16. She was the first indian woman to reach wrestling finals at the olympics. And they dis qualified her for being 100 g overweight. That's literally 50.1 kg. Brown women can't win

AND INDIAN AUTHORITIES JUST ACCEPTED IT?? Didn't even challenge it??

Wrestling matches happen over two days. She reached semis on day 1. She met the weight category then. If you're not going to allow her to fight for the gold at least give her silver?? She earned that much

You can't tell me this was not sabotage. She did not deserve this for fighting for safe environment for other wrestlers. Shame on the WFI and our government

And fuck the olympics for allowing child rapists to participate but disqualifying a brown woman for being .1 kg overweight

Vinesh Phogat from India was the first wrestler ever, man or woman, to reach the finals and have the opportunity to play the Indian National Anthem at the Olympics. She usually always played in the under 53kg category but due to some issues, she went with under 50kg.

She then went on to ANNIHILATE all competition by winning so wonderfully, it made all Indians proud. She won the semifinals, progressed to finals and even had an opportunity to win it. However, at night, she realised she'd gained roughly 3kg and wouldn't be able to participate with that weight. She ran on a treadmill with thick jackets on, sat in a hot sauna, didn't eat or drink anything and, in desperation, cut her hair off. After all this effort, her reading was 50.1kg and she was eliminated from the Olympics.

The weight of 100g pushed her back to the last position, not even letting her get her well-deserved silver medal. Due to severe dehydration, she fainted on the venue and was later admitted in a hospital. Just today, she announced her retirement.

In spite of not winning the gold medal, she is a champion, not only because of her other accomplishments, but because of her relentless support and participation in the wrestlers' protest against the then chief of Wrestling Federation of India for sexual harrasment. She spent months on the streets of New Delhi to get the government to do something and nearly threw all her medals in the River Ganga to get the authorities to act.
