Tiny needle felted Gumshoe I made for a friend! He's only two inches tall!

Time: 3:56 Friday night. Two hours until dawn.

Simon practically ran to the flat's door, fumbling with his keys as Athena jogged up behind him. The door creaked open, and Simon crossed through, not bothering to flick the light on. Taka screeched as they turned the corner together, hearing the man before Simon could see him.

"AGH!"

One Burnard House, pressed against Fulbright's door, greeted them.

"you scared me, I-I mean, he's in his room, he wouldn't stop yelling, I don't think he knows who I am..woke me from a dead sleep, I didnt know left from right. Thought I had to suit up and go to work."

Simon nodded, and cracked the door just enough to glance inward. Fulbright was still on the bed, curled in a tight ball, illuminated by the nightlight on his bedstand. f he noticed the door opening, Simon couldn't tell.

Beside Simon, Burnie spoke.

"He mentioned something bad happened to him, said it was effecting his work. Is this related...?"

"Yes."

"What happened?"

Simon paused a moment, "He hasnt told you?"

Burnie shook his head.

"It seemed like a touchy subject, figured I'd find out if it was important for me to know. Didn't figure it would come up now."

Simon sighed, and slipped in.

((hey guys, I just wanted to apologize for the sudden stop in posting, I know we're in the middle of a story line. My grandmother just passed, and I've had a few other things on my mind. I'm hoping to resume posting and finish out the story soon, but it'll depend on how we're doing over here.))
