WE NEED A MOVIE SERIES BASED ON THE DSMP! How cool would that be though-

Imagine if we all had our Umbilical cords still attached, like we just walk around with a long stringy thing connected to our stomachs.

I want to bring up a point about that line from Techno: He talks about paying shit back a thousand times over but never could have imagined anyone doing the same to him (probably because he doesn’t thing he’s ever done anything worth getting revenge over). That’s why he keeps getting into this spiral of revenge: he always sees any pushback against anything he’s done or will do as a huuuge slight against him, and he in turn seeks his own revenge.

This doesn’t just apply to the Butcher Army- it applies to Doomsday and the Syndicate and the way he treats Tubbo right now.

part of what makes him so dangerous is kind of one of the same things that makes Dream so dangerous. he doesn’t ever question himself. he doesn’t think, maybe I’m in the wrong here. and like you said, when people treat him the way he treats them - or hell, when they retaliate at all, regardless of the magnitude of their actions compared to his - he flies into a self-righteous rage.*

it’s like he can’t tolerate any action against him at all. he can’t allow even the possibility that he could just let something slide for the sake of de-escalating a conflict.

this is making me want to re-watch a lot of techno content and think about his backstory some more. because it really ties into the paranoia thing he has going on! whatever his history is, he came from an environment (cough Hypixel cough) where everyone was out to get him, most people were, if not on his level, at least physically dangerous to be a potential threat to him, and to show any sign of weakness or allow an attack or insult to go unpunished was like waving a Come kill me now because I’m not strong enough to defend myself sign.

I think it’s not necessarily that he doesn’t think he’s done anything wrong - he just doesn’t think in those terms at all. his way of thinking is incredibly individualistic and slightly amoral because of the way (we can deduce) he grew up. where he came from, what’s right or wrong doesn’t matter as much as who has done right or wrong to you. who you can trust, who could be a threat to you. if someone has always stood by your side and defended you, it doesn’t matter what else they might have done, because they have your back and that’s something rare and precious to be cherished and preserved. and if someone attacks you, it doesn’t matter if they did it to protect something they cherish in turn, because all that matters is that now it’s them or you.

*I should say this weirdly asymmetrical reciprocation also applies to positive treatment. when someone shows themself willing to stand by him, Techno becomes ride-or-die very quickly. he really was willing to put everything on the line for Tommy at the Green Festival despite the fact that Tommy hadn’t been of any real use to him at all at that point, because Tommy had declared himself an ally - part of Techno’s “team.” he told Phil to invite Ranboo to live with them - a threat to his incredibly precious self-imposed isolation! - because Ranboo had done one kind of nice thing for him in the past. he reached out to Niki despite her history with L’Manburg because he saw a kindred spirit in her. Techno doesn’t trust easily, but he trusts wholeheartedly, and when someone (in his eyes) betrays that trust it cuts deep.

HOW TO BE IN SOMEONE’S DREAMS!

DISCLAIMER : this doesn’t mean that you can lucid dream, this procedure is just to have them dream about you!

While you’re in bed, falling asleep, say in your head or whisper “_______ will dream about me” -repeat this as you do the other steps - first and last name!

Think of their aura. How they make you feel, the moments you most remember with them. Jump between the colors you associate them with, think of their appearance, etc.

Imagine a scenario with them. It can be anything from running through the halls of a castle to going grocery shopping! Focus on small details if you’d like to, but never forget who you’re with in the scenario.

Alternate through these steps while you fall asleep!

TIP : One way you can KNOW this has worked is if you yourself dream about them that night. It shows that your message and thoughts were strong enough to infect your own subconscious, and have done the same for that person.

Remember, sometimes people don’t remember their dreams! If someone can’t recall it, it’s most likely because they forgot it easily!

You can do this as much as you’d like, but remember to focus on one subject a night. Don’t exhaust your spiritual energy by trying to intercept over one mind!

LAST THING!!! You have the best chances if you know them personally and if your impression of them somehow connects to their own perception of themselves. Doing celebrities CAN work, but it’s really hard to tell and usually has a weak connection if you don’t know them personally!
