Namjoon - I can definitely see him doing this. He would try to make a sweet gesture, then get busy taking care of everything and everyone even though he’s stressed, and forget to eat until he’s starving and… whoops. But he would feel so guilty and would be sure to make it up to you.

Yoongi - Another hard-working man that’s gotta eat. I don’t think he would forget so much as he would know you wouldn’t mind as long as he made it up to you, and he definitely would. I mean, let’s be honest, we all know he would never say no to you. (But then again, if he knew you really wanted the food, he would pretend he wasn’t hungry.)

Jungkook - He doesn’t strike me as much of a gift-giver; he prefers to show his affection through physical touch and sweet affirmations. But if you asked him to get you food there’s a good chance this growing boy would eat it before he could bring it to you. And then tease you for a while before finally going back to get more food for you.

Jin - Again, I don’t think he would forget, I think he would make a conscious choice to eat your food. He would also tease you about it until you were adorably annoyed with him, then go above and beyond by cooking you an elaborate romantic dinner to apologize.

Hoseok - This man has way too much maternal instinct to ever let you go hungry. I can see him buying you food all the time, often as a surprise. He might occasionally sneak a bite, but he would always leave plenty for you.

Taehyung - When he buys you food, it’s an event. We’re talking super romantic, full-on picnic in the park or dinner under the stars, or delivered to you with a bouquet of flowers. He wants you to feel special, and there’s no way he’d mess that up by eating your food. Also, he seems like a master of self-control.

Jimin - This angel-on-Earth would NEVER. Yes, he has a playful Slytherin side, but he doesn’t mess around when it comes to your health and well-being. He would (happily) starve before letting you go hungry. All he wants is to take care of you - just make sure you reward him with lots of praise and affection!

Boyfriends: You Mention Your Ex Drives a Mercedes

“So, funny coincidence - my last boyfriend drove a Mercedes just like this one.” You blurt out. “Only it was probably a little newer. And it had a sunroof.”

Namjoon cringes, as if you’ve just insulted his masculinity, and you quickly struggle to make him feel more comfortable.

“But listen, my ex was a jerk. He cheated on me with his personal trainer - can you believe that? And I thought he went to the gym every day because he cared about his health.”

“That’s terrible.” Namjoon replies.

“And that’s not even the half of it!” You groan. Just thinking about your ex-boyfriend makes your blood boil, and all of your hatred for him comes flooding out. “After we broke up, I found out the trainer wasn’t even his first fling! He had girls on the side all the time! But honestly, I wasn’t that surprised. There were plenty of signs, and I knew he had reputation before we even got together...” You continue your tirade, describing all the untrustworthy and hurtful things your ex did, and Namjoon nods politely, offering the occasional “mmm-hmm”.

When you finally take a breath, you realize you’ve been parked in front of your apartment for at least five minutes - and Namjoon is sighing rather impatiently, anxious for you to finally shut up and get out of his car already.

Boyfriends: You Decide You’ve Had Enough Adventure for Now

A few days later, you have your monthly appointment with your psychologist, and you tell her all about your adventure with Jungkook.

“So let me get this straight,” Your therapist says, “This guy is handsome?” 

“Very.” You reply.

“And he’s sensitive and a good listener.”

“That’s right.” 

“And he’s talented and a hard worker, with dreams and aspirations.”

“Correct.” 

“And he saved an old man’s life by offering himself as a hostage.” 

“Also correct.” You agree. 

“But when he asked you out on a date, you turned him down because...?” 

You shrug.

“I guess I'm just picky.” 

“Perhaps.” Your therapist raises an eyebrow. “Or perhaps you’re crazy.”

There’s a long silence after that, and your therapist scribbles some notes on her pad, mumbling something under her breath about you being an idiot.

Boyfriends: You Steer Towards the Calm Water

“We won’t survive the rapids.” You tell Jungkook. “Let’s go to the right.” 

You have no trouble navigating the canoe on the straightaway, but it only takes a minute before the robbers catch up to you. In a race on calm water against a boat with an engine, you really didn’t have a chance. 

One of the robbers aims his gun at Jungkook.

“This is like shooting fish in a barrel.” He grins maliciously. 

“Not here on the river.” The leader tells him. “Let’s bring them back to the cabin, so no one else will hear.” 

The robbers agree, and they pull both of you into their motorboat before heading back towards the cabin. And since the remaining four minutes and eighteen seconds of your life are rather unpleasant, it’s probably best if the story just stops here...
