Prove It To Me [Eddie Diaz]
Prove It To Me [Eddie Diaz]⚠️

Description: Eddie and Y/N fall in love after Eddie’s wife dies. Eddie gets into fighting and it tears them apart.
Warnings: Curse words, beaten body.
A/N: This will have more than one part!
After Eddie's wife died, everything seemed like it would never get better, then he met Y/N.
She was in the middle of a consult down in the Emergency Room when one of the nurses yelled for her. She excused herself and jogged over to the commotion.
A group of firefighters were bringing a woman in who was actively giving birth. They pushed the gurney into a trauma room and she put a fresh pair of gloves on.
The Emergency Room was short staffed that evening, so she asked the group of firefighters to stay.
After the baby was born and the mother was cleaned up she stepped out to thank the firefighters for their help and a man with brown hair and a very cute smile introduced himself first.
"I'm Eddie."
"Hi Eddie, I'm Y/N." She smiled.
After that they were almost inseparable, so it's not surprising how fast their relationship developed.
"Eddie, where have you been?" Y/N asked as he walks into their shared bedroom, four hours later than when he was supposed to be home.
"I've been out. Why does it matter?" He grumbles as he grabs pajamas to change into and heads into the bathroom and shuts the door.
Y/N gets out of the bed and follows him. She pushes the door open, just as he's taking his shirt off.
"Because we-. Eddie, what happened?!" She exclaims, but quiet enough so Christopher can't hear her. She reaches her hand out for his arm, but he rips it away.
"Don't worry about it. I'm fine. I don't need your help." He snaps, throwing his shirt in the dirty laundry basket.
"Okay, continue to not tell me what's wrong with you, whatever, but these gashes look nasty, so let me help you." Eddie rolls his eyes.
"No, I'll let you know when I'm a woman and have a vagina. Until then I don't need your help." He turns away from her with a huff and starts the shower.
Her mouth drops and her cheeks heat up with anger.
"You know what? Fuck you, Eddie Diaz." She turns around and slams the door shut.
He ignores her and jumps in the shower, and after thirty minutes, he finally gets out of the shower. He puts his clothes on and steps out into the room, expecting his fiancée to be asleep but when he sees suitcases, stuff thrown around and multiple bags his heart drops into his stomach.
"What are you doing?" He asks quietly.
"What does it look like?" She responds coldly.
"Like you're packing."
"Oh, one point for Eddie."
"Why?"
"Because, I am tired of this. I'm tired of you not showing up when you say you will. I'm tired of you snapping at me, and our son. I'm tired of the way you're acting lately. And I am so sorry I wasn't in the military and I'm sorry I'm not a hero firefighter but I worked my fucking ass off to be who I am today. I am the best OB/Gyn in Los Angeles and I have done so many nearly impossible In-Utero surgeries you wouldn't be able to count them on your fingers and toes and all of those babies and their mothers are alive because of me. So I'm leaving until you get your shit together and start being the Eddie I know and love. The one who loves and cares about Christopher and I." She finishes as she zips up her last bag and takes it into the hallway.
"You can't leave." Eddie says as he follows her.
"Who says I can't?" She retaliates.
"You can't leave me. You can't leave Christopher."
"I'm not leaving Christopher. I'm leaving you. He can come stay with me whenever he wants." She says as she walks into the child's room and over to his bed. Eddie stands in the doorway and listens.
She kneels down beside his bed and puts her hand in his hair.
"Chris?" She whispers as she presses a kiss to his head.
"Is it time for school already?" He sighs sleepily as he pops one eye open.
"No honey, it's not." She smiles. "I'm going to go for a while, okay? I'll be back, but for now I need to go."
"Is everything okay?" He asks as he notices the tears in her eyes.
"Yes. Everything is okay." She whispers and kisses his cheek. "I love you, please don't forget that."
"I love you too momma."
A tear falls down her cheek and onto his comforter and she takes in a shaky breath.
"Go back to bed." She tucks him in and makes a quick exit of his room.
She shoves past Eddie, who has tears falling down his face as well before grabbing her stuff and walking down the stairs with them.
Eddie slowly follows her and watches as she takes her stuff and places it in her car. She comes back inside and stops right inside the door.
"I'll come back to get the rest of my stuff and then we will talk." After she finishes she turns to leave, but Eddie's voice stops her.
"I love you." She turns and looks him in the eyes.
"Prove it to me."

Babies First Christmas [Harrison Reid] 🎄

Description: Harrison and Y/N's baby boy celebrates Christmas for the first time, just like every other Bondi baby does, at the beach.
Warnings: None.
A/N: Day 12 of 12 Days of Christmas. Sorry this is so late, I changed my mind on what I wanted to write, then I forgot to actually post it.
Y/N had given birth to their son, Ryder Alexander Reid, three months ago and today was his first Christmas. Harrison had to work from noon to pack up, so he was happy he got to spend time with his wife and his son before going in to work, but it was still hard leaving them both.
Harrison had gathered all of his stuff he'd need for work and sat it by the door before going over to Y/N who had Ryder in her arms, feeding him and watching a Christmas movie. He reached out and Ryder grabbed his finger. Harrison smiled at his baby boy before looking at his wife.
"I don't want to leave."
"I know babe, but you have to work. Hoppo will give me an earful if you don't show up." She chuckles. Harrison gives her a confused look.
"Why would he give you an earful?" He questions and moves his hand to rub Ryder's head.
"Because you don't like leaving Ry and I. You like us more than the beach. He told me the other day when I was working "I've already lost one of my best lifeguard's to the little one, I can't lose another.". It was funny because he thought he lost me. I still love that place and I still work there, I've just got to get back in shape now that my doctor has cleared me."
"Hop has known you since you were a baby, why'd he think he would lose you?" Harrison asks.
"Who knows, but if you don't leave in the next couple of minutes you're going to be late."
Harrison groans and checks the time, and of course she's right. He looks at his baby and wife again, not wanting to leave.
"I just wish I could spend the day with you guys. It's his first Christmas." He puts his head on Y/N's shoulder. She puts her hand on his head and kisses his cheek all while burping the baby.
"I'll try to bring him down there after lunch with my family. I'll bring you some food too." She negotiates.
"Ok. The boys will be glad to see Rydes." Y/N nods and hands Ryder to Harrison.
"Say bye to daddy Ryder. Give him kisses!" Ryder opens his mouth and just presses his face to Harrison's cheek. Harrison laughs and kisses Ryder's cheek.
"Bye Ryder, daddy loves you." He gives him a kiss again and turns to Y/N. "I love you too. I'll see you guys later."
He presses a quick kiss to her lips before handing her their baby and gathering his stuff to leave.
§§§
Y/N and her mother had finished Christmas lunch with the rest of the Y/L/N family before packing up Ryder and some food for Harrison and the other lifeguards on duty at Bondi.
They'd decided to walk since it was nice outside and they weren't super far away. Y/N had decided to go to the tower since she wasn't sure where her husband would be. She knocked on the back door before opening it and was greeted by Hoppo and Mouse.
"Y/N! Merry Christmas! Where's the baby?!" Hoppo pulls her into a somewhat bone crushing hug, not wanting to hurt her.
"He's just outside with my mom, I didn't want to bring him in just yet if something was going on." Hoppo let go of her and Mouse gave her a hug.
"Bring him in! We love little Ryder!" Mouse exclaims.
Y/N's mom pushes the food filled stroller in with Ryder sitting in his car seat that's latched into the stroller.
"We brought you guys some home cooked food too, so it's feels more like Christmas." Y/M/N says. Hoppo thanks her and gives her a quick hug while Mouse takes Ryder.
"Hi little man. How are you? I haven't seen you in a couple of days." Mouse baby talks to Ryder and tickles him.
"He's good, we've finally gotten to where he only wakes up once a night for a feeding and that's around the time I'd get up for work. That and he's obsessed with a baby koala stuffed animal that Harrison picked out for Christmas. When he sees it he gets super excited." Y/N chuckles.
"What about you? You feeling ok?" Hoppo asks.
"Yeah. I'm good I've just got to get back in shape now that I'm cleared."
"Take your time, don't rush and hurt yourself." Y/M/N says in a motherly tone.
"Yes mother. I know." Y/N groans.
§§§
Harrison and Jake had been called up to the tower for their lunch break and Harrison was excited.
He was starving and he wanted to see if Y/N had come with Ryder.
Jake and Harrison walked up the stairs into the tower to see Y/N sitting in a chair, feeding Ryder, Hoppo and Mouse scanning the water, Deano and KC standing with Y/M/N and talking to Y/N.
"Deano and KC are going to take the North for you two." Hoppo says.
"Harrison I'm glad Ryder looks like Y/N more than you. He's a beautiful baby." Deano says as he walks out and KC pats Harrison's shoulder as he follows.
"It's not like I disagree with that." Harrison mumbles.
Everyone laughs and Y/M/N tells the boys they brought food and to help themselves, which they do.
Harrison has Y/N stand up for a second so he can sit down and then has her sit back down on his lap.
He looks over to Ryder who's still drinking his bottle and smiles.
"Hi Rydes. Are you being good for mommy and grandma?" Ryder smiles as he continues to drink and Y/N nods.
"Yeah, he has been really good with as many people he's been around today. He just got a bit overwhelmed when my dads cousin tried to take him out of my arms."
Harrison gives her look that says he isn't happy about that and Jake chuckles because he's been seeing a lot more of that face since Y/N found out she was pregnant.
Harrison got really protective and even hated it when people would rush past Y/N and barely knock into her and now with Ryder he has a hard time trusting people he doesn't know super well with him.
"It's ok Harrison, you know Y/D/N wouldn't let either of them out of his sight when you're not around. He took care of it." Y/M/N smirked. She loved how in love Harrison is with Y/N and their baby. She never had to worry about her daughter and grandson with him around.
"Ok tell me more. What desserts did you have?"
§§§
Hoppo decided to let Harrison stay in the tower for a majority of the rest of the day, until around six when things were winding down.
Y/N and Ryder were told to go with Harrison as he patrols so he can spend more time with them and no one argued.
They sat at the north end watching the water. The beach was pretty empty, which is weird for Christmas Day but people must have actually realized the beach closes at seven.
"I'm glad you guys came down so I could spend his first Christmas with him and you." Harrison says.
"I'm glad we did. It was really nice seeing all of the guys. And seeing you and Ryder together always makes me happy. I can tell how much you guys love each other."
Harrison laughs and puts his arm across her shoulders, "I love both of you. Merry Christmas, Mrs. Reid." He presses a kiss to her lips.
"Merry Christmas Harrison." She says as she snuggles into him, with Ryder sleeping in her arms.
Husband Material [Colton Parayko] 🎄

Description: Colton and Y/N host a Christmas party and her friends and family can’t quit telling her Colton is "husband material".
Warnings: None that I know of. Cuss words probably?
Colton watched as Y/N scrambled around the house, trying to pull out all of their Christmas decorations to see what she needed to get.
As soon as the couple was told that they could host Christmas this year, chaos ensued.
Y/N is a planner and a perfectionist, so this was perfect for her and not at the same time.
"Babe, we threw out the stuff that didn't work or was broken when we put this stuff away." Colton says as he comes up behind her and wraps his arm around her.
"I know, but other stuff could've broken, or stopped working between now and then." Y/N replies as she takes out a bundle of lights to plug in.
And as if the light was listening, it didn't work.
"Well you're right." Colton chuckles and Y/N sighs. "It's okay, we can just go get some new stuff if you want, so it doesn't stress you out anymore than it is already." He presses a kiss to her head and walks off to grab their jackets and shoes so they can go.
Y/N tries to look through everything else quickly to make mental notes as to what else they might need to get.
Colton returns to the living room and sees her continuing to go through the boxes and make a mess.
"Babe, don't worry about that stuff okay? You'd mentioned wanting to get new decorations since these ones are getting older and not looking good. We will just toss this stuff and get new. I don't want you to stress." Colton says as he helps Y/N get her coat on, then presses a kiss to the crown of her head.
"Okay." She replies, "I'm sorry. I know I'm stressing over nothing. It's just our first time hosting Christmas and I want it to be perfect." She mumbles.
"Sweetheart, everything you touch turns into gold."
Y/N busts out laughing and smacks Coltons chest.
"You're cheesy Mr. Parayko." Y/N kisses his cheek.
"Only for you my love." Before she can pull away he presses a kiss to her lips, "So... Hot chocolate first please?"
"Yes baby, we will get hot chocolate first." She giggles.
~~~
Colton helped Y/N clean, decorate the whole house and even helped her prepare some dishes for Christmas Dinner.
Y/N appreciated the help even though she was still stressed about the day not going perfect.
When their families arrived, her stress and anxiety got even worse.
See, it's not the first time their families have met at all. It's just now that the couple has been together for a little over two years, their families are expecting marriage, kids and all that stuff, which the two of them don't think they want right now. At least the kids.
Every time Colton and Y/N go to a family gathering it's always the same questions, so now she's even more nervous.
"Babe?" Colton tries to get Y/N's attention as she plugs in all of the crockpots full of food.
"Yeah Colt?" She replies, but doesn't stop what she's doing.
"Everything is going to be alright." He assures, "Everyone is in the living room and dining room hanging out. They love the decorations and are already complementing the food just by the smell." He rubs her shoulders as she faces away from him.
"Really?" She asks, "Maybe this won't be a complete disaster like I thought." Y/N adds as she turns around to face her boyfriend.
Colton chuckles and leans down to press a kiss to her lips.
"It won't be a complete disaster. Now, go out there and relax, talk to our family. I'll finish up in here and then I'll be out."
Y/N nods and starts to walk away, but stops when she feels a hand land on her butt and a loud sound go through the room.
"Oh my god. Colton Parayko! Our families are here, keep your hands to yourself!"
"Sorry, couldn't help myself." He puts his hands up in surrender.
Y/N's Aunt chuckles as she walks into the room.
"Honey, that man is husband material. If you don't marry him, I will." She jokes.
"Will do." Y/N laughs.
~~~
"Y/N this food is great sweetheart. What seasoning did you use on the ham?" Colton's mom asks.
"Oh, I used a mixture of ground ginger, cloves, brown sugar and a tiny bit of cinnamon. It's my great grandmas recipe." Y/N replies.
"You did such a good job with everything. The house is beautiful, and the food is absolutely delicious. Thank you guys for hosting this year." Y/N's mom compliments.
"Yeah, of course. We're glad you guys could make it!"
"Yeah. I actually would like to say something though, since everyone is here." Colton stands up and pulls Y/N up with him.
"Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N, I've known you're the one for me since the day I met you. I knew in my heart I'd never be able to feel that way for anyone else. I love that you're great with my friends and family and that you've come to claim them as your own. I love that you care about everybody, even though you have no idea who they are. I love that you just love life itself." Colton pauses and gets down on one knee, causing gasps to go throughout the room. "I don't tell you everyday how thankful I am for you. Just know, deep down inside, I am truly blessed to have you in my life. A eternity with you will never be enough Y/N. I need so much more. So, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" He pulls out the little box and flips it open, revealing the ring he'd spent months perfecting for her.
Y/N's hand was covering her mouth as tears flowed out of her eyes.
She was afraid to speak so she just nodded her head frantically and got down on the floor to throw herself into his arms.
"I need to hear you say it babe. Please?" Colton whispers.
"Yes Colt. I want to marry you."
Colton smiles widely and picks them both up off the floor.
Their lips meet for a passionate kiss. With Colton's hands cradling her face and Y/N's hand splayed on the back of his head and neck.
Finally they pull away and Colton takes the ring out of the box and gently places it on her ring finger.
Y/N finally looks at the ring and gasps.
"Colt, it's perfect."
Colton nods and pulls her in for a hug, "So are you."
"Oh my god. You guys are definitely perfect for each other." Y/N's Sister In Law says.
"This is the best Christmas ever. My little boy is finally marrying the love of his life. I'm so happy for you two." Colton's mom says and stands up to embrace the two in a hug.
"Yeah mom, you're right. Best Christmas ever."
Forty-Eight Hours [Evan ‘Buck’ Buckley]🎄

Description: Buck tries to tell Y/N about his feelings before her date in 48 hours.
Warnings: Mentions of a house fire.
"Buck, where is the extra wrapping paper?" Y/N asks as she walks over to him from their storage closet.
"Uh-. Check in Bobby's office." He suggests. Y/N nods and heads upstairs.
Chimney and Eddie, who are standing on the other side of the table share a glance.
"So, when are you going to ask Y/N out?" Chimney asks.
Buck rolls his eyes at his friends.
"Really guys?"
"Evan, come on. You need to get over Abby. Y/N is a good girl, and she's already good for you. Just open yourself up."
"I just don't want to mess up. I like being friends with Y/N and I don't want her to leave." Buck says as he rips some tape off of the roll.
"Y/N isn't leaving Buck. She just bought a house, she's staying." Eddie points out.
Buck yet again rolls his eyes. They're right and he knows it.
Hen walks into the bays with more gifts under her arms.
"Wow, who donated those?" Buck asks, changing the subject.
Now it's Eddie and Chimney's turn to roll their eyes.
"Oh, they're actually from Y/N. She adopted a family this year and wanted to wrap the gifts while she was at work since they need to be dropped off right after shift." Hen explains, "There's more in her car if you guys want to help bring them in!"
Buck smiles and shakes his head.
"Yeah, it's unlocked right?"
Hen nods and continues towards the empty table.
The guys all walk out to Y/N's car.
"I love this kid, she's an angel in human form." Chimney says.
"Yeah she's definitely got a heart of gold." Eddie adds.
"I know what you guys are doing." Buck huffs.
"Yeah? Is it working?" Eddie asks as he opens the passenger door. He pauses for a second before a smile breaks out on his face. "Guys, look at that." He points to her dash, right under the speedometer.
It's a picture of Bobby, Eddie, Hen, Chimney, Buck, Christopher and Y/N last summer sitting on the front of the truck.
And another one of Buck and Y/N at fire prevention day.
"She has a picture of us in her car?" Buck asks.
"Seems so." Chimney claps his shoulder and rounds the back of her car.
"Evan, seriously. You need to ask her out. And I wasn't going to say anything but she's got a date the night after shift ends, so you've got forty-eight hours to find your balls and do what you want to do." Eddie says bluntly before going to help Chimney, leaving Buck to his thoughts.
"Oh shit."
§§§
Buck had been trying to talk to Y/N, but of course they've had back to back calls and there wasn't any time.
Y/N and Hen had just got back from a medical assist for a trauma patient, and Buck was waiting for them.
"Hey guys, how'd that call go?" He asks as the girls get out of the ambulance.
"It went okay, the guys probably won't make it due to his injuries though." Y/N says as she goes to the Medical Storage cabinet.
"That's too bad." Buck replies walking over to her, "Y/N, I wanted to talk to you about something-."
"All Units, Structure Fire." The PA system from dispatch cut Buck off.
"Shit!" Y/N grabs everything she needs and throws it in the back of the ambulance. "We'll talk later Buck."
Buck sighs and jogs over to the Engine.
Eddie comes up beside him and pats him on the back.
"You just need a Christmas miracle Buck. You'll talk to her." He encourages.
"Not at this rate, I won't."
"You've just got to believe." Eddie jokes.
"I can't believe I'm going to miss my chance because I was too stupid to say anything before." Buck complains as he takes his seat in the truck.
"Miss your chance at what?" Bobby asks.
Buck groans and puts his head in his hands.
"Y/N has a date after shift, in now forty hours and Buck is realizing he should've said something to her about his feelings before. He's trying to tell her before her date but they've had back to back calls." Chimney explains as he puts on his gloves.
"Buck, you should've told her way before now!" Bobby scolds.
"I know, thanks!" Buck replies sarcastically.
"Talk to her as soon as this is over with. You two are good for each other and I don't want you guys to miss the opportunity." Bobby says.
All Buck can do is shake his head and hope that he's not too late.
§§§
It was a horrible fire. The family lost everything and Y/N was so upset.
"I hate this universe. That is so unfair." She seethes.
Buck had walked over to the ambulance to talk to her but he immediately knew now wasn't a good time.
"Hey guys," He says to catch Hen and Y/N's attention, "You two okay?"
Y/N and Hen both have a frown on their faces, but nod their heads.
"This is just so unfair that this happens. I feel horrible for them." Y/N whispers, "I just wish there was something I could do to help, even just a little bit."
Buck can visibly see how upset Y/N is. Her voice is a tad scratchy and she's got tears in her eyes.
He's not surprised though, as she is one of the most kindest, caring and strongest people he knows. Though, all he wants to do is wrap her in a hug.
"It's Christmas, this shouldn't be happening." Y/N finishes before slamming the back door to the ambulance and going to get in the front seat.
Buck and Hen share a look.
"Maybe there is something we can do."
§§§
Y/N had been sitting in her bunk with her tablet since they got back from the call. She hasn't said anything or gotten up.
Her adopted family had been watching her through the glass for a while before she perked up and finally moved from her bed to the door.
At first she hadn't noticed them, causing her to jump when she walked through the door, but she got distracted she saw Hen standing there.
"Oh good, you're already here. I want to take a ride to Walmart in a few hours, okay?" Y/N doesn't give her time to finish before going back into her bunk.
The group just stands there, shocked by that interaction.
"What the hell is she getting up to in there?" Chimney asks, before walking to the common area.
"Should we tell her or just surprise her?" Hen asks Buck.
"I think we should surprise her."
§§§
Y/N had dragged Hen with her to pickup a Walmart order and bring it back to the house. Her mood had brightened and she wasn't as upset anymore.
Bobby walks into the common area and stops when he sees bags full of stuff like clothes, hygiene and household essentials and even some fun things like toys and entertainment items.
"I thought we were done wrapping presents for the toy drive?" He asks, breaking his silence.
Y/N looks up and shrugs.
"This isn't for the toy drive."
"So, what is it for?"
"It's for the family from our structure fire today." She mumbles.
Bobby nods and comes closer to the table and picks up a toy.
"Would you like some help?"
Y/N smiles and nods, "Yeah Captain, I'd like that."
So, they wrapped all of the presents and placed everything else in bags for the family to use while everyone else in the house slept.
By four in the morning Buck was just itching to tell Y/N what he did, but first he needed some coffee, so he headed to the kitchen.
But Buck wasn't expecting to find his Captain and Y/N passed out on the couches in the living area and tons of wrapped boxes and bags full of items scattered around.
He stops for a second before going over to Bobby and tapping his shoulder.
"Hey Cap?"
"Yeah?" Bobby asks, still asleep.
"What happened in here?"
That makes Bobby shoot up and look around.
Seeing that everything was fine and it was just Buck be laid back down.
"Y/N got all of this stuff for that family. So, I helped her get it ready last night." He pauses to yawn, and looks at Y/N. "Wake her up and make her go lay down in her bed. Her neck is going to be hurting." He says before getting up to go start a pot of coffee.
Buck goes over to Y/N and places his hand on her arm gently.
"Y/N, you need to go sleep in a bed. Not on the couch with your neck all twisted." Buck whispers.
Y/N opens one eye before shaking her head no.
"I'm too tired to move." She complains.
"Okay, so I will carry you. You don't need to be sleeping out on the couch." He argues.
Y/N rolls her eyes before sitting up.
"Okay." She whispers.
Buck places one arm around her and the other under her knees before lifting her up, into his arms. Once he's sure he's got a good grip on her he starts walking down the hall.
The journey is silent until she's being placed on her bed.
"I wish that didn't happen to them Buck. They are such good people."
Buck nods in agreement before stopping and staring at Y/N for a few seconds.
"Y/N?"
"Yeah Evan?"
"I am in love with you."
"I'm in love with you too."
Evan's heart stops for a second. He can't believe she said that.
He shakes his head, she's probably not even awake, so he shouldn't take it seriously.
He squeezes her hand tightly before standing up and walking out of the room.
§§§
Buck couldn't stop thinking about his encounter with Y/N earlier. His coffee had gotten cold because he hasn't touched it.
Buck is brought out of his head by Y/N walking into the living area.
"Good morning Buck!" She says.
"Good morning Y/N."
She walks past him and into the kitchen to grab one of her yogurts. She stops abruptly once she can see out the window.
"What is this?" She asks.
Buck stands up and walks over to her.
Outside there is a bunch of people, coming to donate food, household supplies, old clothes, anything you can think of really.
"This is for the Vasquez family. We set this up after we were done." He starts, "I got them set up at a house until they can get a new one or rebuild their house. They will be here in a few minutes actually."
"Are you serious?" She whispers.
"Yeah. You inspired this." Buck says, "You have a heart of gold and your Christmas spirit is unmatched. It's nice, especially in this line of work."
Y/N smiles and drops her eyes to the ground, scared to meet his eyes when she says what she's going to.
"I really am in love with you, Evan Buckley. I know I was half asleep when I said it this morning, but I really do love you."
Buck lifts Y/N's chin up and leans in.
"That's a good thing, because I'm in love with you too."
He leans in and presses a soft kiss to her lips.
They pull away and Buck sighs, "What about your date after shift?"
"What date after shift?"
Seattle Christmas [Jamie Oleksiak] 🎄

Description: Jamie and Y/N celebrate their first Seattle Christmas.
Warnings: IDK, this is cute!
Jamie watched from the living room as the snow fell outside. He loved it since it wasn't something that happened in Texas. For some reason it was so calming even after growing up with it.
He definitely needed calm after getting drafted to the Seattle Kraken in the expansion draft. Jamie and his wife, Y/N, picked up and moved to a completely different state in one week. Getting everything settled and the start of the season is definitely crazy but now it's definitely worth it.
"Jame?" Y/N's voice rings through his ears as she walks through the house.
"I'm in the living room babe!" He responds, turning on the fireplace.
Y/N enters the room with two mugs in her hands.
"What do ya' got sweetheart?" Jamie asks as he opens her arms for her to sit in his lap.
"I made us some hot chocolate. Yours has peppermint and marshmallows, just how you like it."
Jamie takes the mug into his hand and presses a kiss to her lips, "Thank you."
Y/N nods and they both sit there silently, watching the snow fall, with their tree plugged in and fireplace on. It looks like a scene from a movie.
"I really like it here." Y/N whispers.
Jamie looks over at her with a smile on his face, "Really? You do?"
"Yeah, this is nice. We never could do this in Dallas. And as much as I loved everyone there, I think this is the best place for us to start a family. This house is perfect and the property Jame. Our kids could go sledding on snow days and have room to go and play in the snow."
"It is, isn't it." Jamie smiles, leaning into her.
"Everyone here is great too. Since we are all the new guys, you know? We're all in the same spot, so it seems like we all understand each other."
"Yeah, I get what you're saying. I've noticed that too." He replies, "So you think this is where we should finally start our family?"
Y/N nods with a big smile, "Yeah babe. I think it is." She pauses for a second, "Can you imagine it? Sitting in this living room, watching out this window as it snows with our mini's cuddled up to us."
"It will be perfect." Jamie says.
He grabs her mug and sets both of them on the coffee table. Then he wraps his arms around her and pulls her chest to his, so she's straddling him.
"I think our kids will love it here."
"I think they will too." Jamie trails off for a second, "So should we have a baby before our second Seattle Christmas?"
Y/N face plants into his chest and laughs.
"What's so funny?" Jamie asks as he runs his hands up and down her sides.
"You want a baby that bad?"
"Yeah, I want one now."
"Why so you can be called a DILF?" Y/N jokes.
"No, so I can call you a MILF."
"You're cheesy." Y/N smiles as she presses a kiss to his cheek.
As she backs away Jamie catches her and presses his lips to hers.
"I've known that you were going to have my kids for a long time darling. Anytime you're ready, I am." He confesses.
"You're sure? I don't want you to get overwhelmed Jame, a baby is a lot of work on top of everything you're doing now."
"I should be asking you that. I'm gone a lot because of road trips and events. Are you okay with me being gone?" Jamie asks, "I'd put in for retirement tomorrow if you asked me to."
"No you're not." Y/N laughs, "You love hockey too much. Sure I'll miss you and you'll miss some milestones but as long as we have each other we will be alright."
"Okay." Jamie nods, "Baby Oleksiak for our second Seattle Christmas?"
"Baby Oleksiak for our second Seattle Christmas."
Silent Night [Eddie Diaz] 🎄

Description: Eddie and his family spend Christmas Eve together and no nonsense is welcome.
A/N: This is sort of a additional part to "Prove It To Me"!
"Come on Chris. Let’s go get ready for bed." Eddie says as he notices Chris nodding off on the couch trying to watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
Chris groans and sits up, rubbing his eyes.
"I want to see my baby first." Chris replies and grabs his glasses off of the side table.
Eddie helps his son off the couch and nods, "Momma took Hadley upstairs because she was getting fussy. If she’s awake you can see her, okay?"
Chris nods and Eddie picks him up to go up stairs. They turn into the nursery to see Y/N sitting in the rocking chair reading Hadley, who is smiling and cooing back at her mom, a book.
Eddie knocks on the door and comes in, putting Christopher back on the ground once he was by the chair the girls were in.
"We came to say goodnight." Eddie says, leaning down to kiss Y/N's forehead.
Y/N smiles and shifts the baby so there is room for Chris in her lap.
"Do you want me to read you both a book before bed?"
Christopher nods eagerly and Y/N wraps her arm around him to pull him into her lap.
She turns to the beginning of the book and says the title.
Eddie’s phone rings, causing everyone to turn their attention to it.
There had been a major incident and there was a possibility firefighters would get called in, unfortunately.
Eddie sees that his Mother is the one calling, so he groans.
"Dad, you don’t have to go to work do you?" Christopher asks, disappointed.
"No buddy. It’s your abuela. I’ll be back in a few minutes, okay."
He exits the room and answers his phone.
"Hello."
"Edmundo, it’s your mamá. I was wondering when you were going to bring your family home. The baby has been here for two months and we have yet to meet her."
He knew that this was coming. She’s trying to con him into moving back.
"Mamá, her name is Hadley. Y/N can’t just pack up and travel first of all, she’s a doctor. Second of all we’ve been short staffed at work so there’s a chance that I could get called in at anytime. Third, we are trying to keep Hadley contained to certain places and people. Flu season is running rampant and we aren’t willing to take any chances with flying." He tries to explain.
"Well what are we supposed to do? We can’t see our granddaughter? It’s not fair that you took of with Chris and now we can’t even meet her. Does she not like us or something?!" Eddie sighs and rolls his eyes, trying not to blow a gasket.
"What do you mean?"
"Your babies mother. Does she not like us?"
Eddie’s ears are steaming and he slaps his hand on the railing around the stairs.
"My daughters name is Hadley and my children’s mothers name is Y/N. Why can’t you say their names?!" He exclaims, "Y/N has never met you, why would she have a reason to not like you? Did you do something that makes you not like-able?" He pushes.
Eddie couldn’t figure out why his parents could never say Y/N’s name. It’s almost like they think they are above her and everyone else.
"Edmundo! How dare you speak to me that way!"
"How dare you call me on Christmas Eve, my baby’s first Christmas Eve and try to ruin my time with my family! Call me when you guys can grow up and acknowledge that Christopher isn’t coming back to you and I have moved on and created a life for myself out here." He hangs up his phone and runs his hands over his face.
After a moment Eddie looks at his watch and notices that it’s Christopher’s bedtime, so he makes his way back into Hadley's nursery.
A soft voice comes from the room, causing him to stop in his tracks.
"Silent night, holy night. All is calm, all is bright.
Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child. Holy infant so tender and mild. Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace." Y/N sings, rocking her kids to sleep.
Eddie pokes his head in the room and smiles at the sight.
He knows he did something right now. Y/N is perfect and so are their kids.
"Silent night, holy night. Shepherds quake at the sight. Glories stream from heaven afar. Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia. Christ the Savior is born!
Christ the Savior is born." Y/N continues as she runs her hand through Christopher’s hair and rubs his neck.
Eddie continues to watch, just melting at the sight of the people he loves the most.
"Silent night, holy night. Son of God love's pure light. Radiant beams from Thy holy face. With dawn of redeeming grace, Jesus Lord, at Thy birth
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth." She finishes.
Y/N presses a kiss to both kiss heads and sighs, leaning further back into her chair.
Eddie finally comes into the room and sends her a bright smile.
"You’re amazing." He says.
Y/N giggles softly and shrugs.
"What can I say? I’ve got a natural touch."
"You most certainly do." He walks over and presses a quick, but sweet kiss to her lips.
"Is everything okay with your mom? You sounded pretty upset out there?" She asks quietly.
Eddie nods and lifts Christopher out of her lap.
"Everything’s okay. My mom is just being rude."
Y/N frowns, knowing she is the cause of it.
"I’m sorry that I can’t just go on trips without much notice, but you and Chris could go if you guys want. I don’t want to hold you back from seeing your family." She offers, getting up to put Hadley in her crib and make sure her monitors are hooked up.
Eddie shake his head no. "Absolutely not. This is my family." He circles his finger around the room, "And if my parents can’t accept that and respect our wishes and choices, I guess they’re not my family." Eddie says.
Before Y/N can say anything he walks out of the room and into Christopher’s room to put him to bed.
Y/N sighs, but stays with Hadley a little longer to make sure she’s okay for the night.
Eddie eventually makes his way back in and wraps his arms around Y/N’s waist so she can lean back into him.
"I’m not going to let them walk all over us and disrespect us at all. I’m tired of it happening and it won’t happen to you, Hadley, Christopher or myself anymore. I will cut off all contact and ties with them if I have to. I’m finally happy, I’m not willing to risk this."
Y/N turns around in his arms and wraps her arms around his neck.
"I love you, Eddie. Thank you for sticking up for us."
"Always, mi amor."
