Jamie watched from the living room as the snow fell outside. He loved it since it wasn't something that happened in Texas. For some reason it was so calming even after growing up with it.

He definitely needed calm after getting drafted to the Seattle Kraken in the expansion draft. Jamie and his wife, Y/N, picked up and moved to a completely different state in one week. Getting everything settled and the start of the season is definitely crazy but now it's definitely worth it.

"Jame?" Y/N's voice rings through his ears as she walks through the house.

"I'm in the living room babe!" He responds, turning on the fireplace.

Y/N enters the room with two mugs in her hands.

"What do ya' got sweetheart?" Jamie asks as he opens her arms for her to sit in his lap.

"I made us some hot chocolate. Yours has peppermint and marshmallows, just how you like it."

Jamie takes the mug into his hand and presses a kiss to her lips, "Thank you."

Y/N nods and they both sit there silently, watching the snow fall, with their tree plugged in and fireplace on. It looks like a scene from a movie.

"I really like it here." Y/N whispers.

Jamie looks over at her with a smile on his face, "Really? You do?"

"Yeah, this is nice. We never could do this in Dallas. And as much as I loved everyone there, I think this is the best place for us to start a family. This house is perfect and the property Jame. Our kids could go sledding on snow days and have room to go and play in the snow."

"It is, isn't it." Jamie smiles, leaning into her.

"Everyone here is great too. Since we are all the new guys, you know? We're all in the same spot, so it seems like we all understand each other."

"Yeah, I get what you're saying. I've noticed that too." He replies, "So you think this is where we should finally start our family?"

Y/N nods with a big smile, "Yeah babe. I think it is." She pauses for a second, "Can you imagine it? Sitting in this living room, watching out this window as it snows with our mini's cuddled up to us."

"It will be perfect." Jamie says.

He grabs her mug and sets both of them on the coffee table. Then he wraps his arms around her and pulls her chest to his, so she's straddling him.

"I think our kids will love it here."

"I think they will too." Jamie trails off for a second, "So should we have a baby before our second Seattle Christmas?"

Y/N face plants into his chest and laughs.

"What's so funny?" Jamie asks as he runs his hands up and down her sides.

"You want a baby that bad?"

"Yeah, I want one now."

"Why so you can be called a DILF?" Y/N jokes.

"No, so I can call you a MILF."

"You're cheesy." Y/N smiles as she presses a kiss to his cheek.

As she backs away Jamie catches her and presses his lips to hers.

"I've known that you were going to have my kids for a long time darling. Anytime you're ready, I am." He confesses.

"You're sure? I don't want you to get overwhelmed Jame, a baby is a lot of work on top of everything you're doing now."

"I should be asking you that. I'm gone a lot because of road trips and events. Are you okay with me being gone?" Jamie asks, "I'd put in for retirement tomorrow if you asked me to."

"No you're not." Y/N laughs, "You love hockey too much. Sure I'll miss you and you'll miss some milestones but as long as we have each other we will be alright."

"Okay." Jamie nods, "Baby Oleksiak for our second Seattle Christmas?"

Baby Boy [Andrei Svechnikov]

Jaccob's wife, Kylie had been great with helping Y/N since moving and she was happy Y/N came to her about something so important.

She went with Y/N and showed her pregnancy tests and helped her with the instructions, and when the test came out positive, she helped Y/N find a OB/Gyn to confirm the pregnancy.

Andrei was ecstatic when he found out. He tackled her onto the bed and just wrapped his arms around her and kissed her face all over, muttering "Я люблю тебя." ("I love you.") Over and over again.

He looked exactly like his father, so the boys on the team stopped teasing Andrei about the baby not being his because "there's no way a woman as beautiful as Y/N could have a baby with you.", so Andrei and Y/N fell in love with their baby boy, and even more in love with each other.

Andrei walked into the dark house after arriving home from the airport. He locked the door and took his dirty clothes to the laundry room and unloaded the clothes and switched the laundry over. Then he checked all of the locks before walking up the stairs into their shared bedroom.

He knew exactly where Y/N and Sergei were. Y/N always had him sleep in their room while he was gone. He pushed the door open and smiled when he saw his baby curled up in his bassinet and Y/N holding onto the bassinet with a death grip while sleeping.

He plugged his phone in before slipping into the bathroom to shower and get ready for bed.

Y/N had gotten up when she heard the shower start, and so did Sergei so she changed his diaper and cuddled him for a little bit until Andrei stepped out in a pair of sweatpants.

"Привет, детка. How was your day?" ("Hi baby.") Andrei asks as he slips into bed.

"It was good. Worked for a little bit and took Sergei to see Kylie." She says as she adjusts her shirt so Sergei can eat. "How was your day?" She knew they won their game but she didn’t stay up to watch the post game interviews.

"We won, and I got to come home to my family so it was great." Andrei places a kiss on her lips before laying down, wrapping his arms around her waist and placing his head on her leg.

They continued to talk while Sergei ate and when he was done Andrei took him so he could be burped and Y/N went to go get a drink.

Andrei walked around their room after burping the baby to lull him back to sleep. He pressed kisses to Sergei’s head and cheek and spoke to him in Russian so he could hear his voice.

"папочка любит тебя, малыш. ты и мамочка." ("Daddy loves you baby boy. You and mommy.") Andrei whispers. while he places Sergei into the bassinet.

Y/N walks into the room and watches her boyfriend and their son.

"You are an amazing dad. We are lucky to have you." She says as she gets in bed.

Andrei gets in next to her and pulls her into him.

"I'm lucky to have you. You guys are by far the best thing to ever happen to me."

"я люблю тебя Андрей." (I love you Andrei.")

"я тоже тебя люблю." ("I love you too.")

Y/N places her head in the crook of Andrei's neck, tangles her legs with his and presses a kiss to his chest before letting herself fall asleep.

Andrei stays up for a little while longer, thanking his lucky stars for his life, and family while admiring his girlfriend and glancing over to the bassinet just a few feet away from him.

This was all he’s ever wanted.

Description: Chappo gets jealous when the boys show off and flirt with his girlfriend. He shuts it down pretty quick.

"Will you come to the beach and have lunch with me tomorrow? We haven't had lunch together in ages." He asks as he runs a hand through her hair.

"Yeah, of course. You want me to pick up some Chinese?" Y/N replies as she nuzzles into Chappo's neck to press a kiss there.

"If you bring me Sweet and Sour Chicken and Eggrolls, I will love you forever." He groans just thinking about the delicious food.

"Okay, you weirdo." She laughs and rolls her eyes. "And you better love me forever even if I don't bring you food." She jokes.

"I will love you forever, sweetheart." He presses a kiss to her forehead and they close their eyes.

The next afternoon Chappo was sitting in the tower waiting for Y/N to arrive with their food. He was playing around on his phone when someone knocked on the back door and Maxi answers it.

"Y/N! How are you, beautiful?" Maxi exclaims.

"I'm good Maxi. How are you?" She chuckles as she takes a step into the tower.

"I'm great! We haven't seen you in forever! Chappo never hangs out with us anymore so we can't see you." Maxi pouts.

It's true. The boys had a tendency to be flirty with Y/N and they only did it because they knew it bothered Chappo.

"We'll have to set up dinner one night then, won't we babe?" Y/N replies as she walks up the steps.

Chappo looks up at her and pauses for a second before nodding, not really too sure about her plans.

"Sure."

Chappo finally gets Y/N out from the tower and out to a picnic table to eat and while they are talking, he notices the boys driving by on the Rhino's frequently.

"So I was thinking for Christmas this year we could buy your sister this-." Y/N is cut off by the Rhino speeding but followed by beeps and wolf whistles.

"Hey! Stop it you little shits!" Chappo yells at Harrison and Maxi.

Y/N laughs and places her hand on her boyfriends arm.

"Chris, it's okay. They're just picking on you."

Chappo turns his head towards her and smiles. She was always so sweet.

"They're flirting and showing off." He pouts.

"Baby, you don't have to worry about them. You're the only man I want." Y/N rubs his arm with her soft hand. "If you're worried about them we can show them at dinner. Show them whose girl I am." She hints.

Chappo immediately knew what she was talking about, something they've kept to themselves for a while.

"Really, you're ready to tell people?!" His eyes light up with excitement.

"Yeah. If you are?" Y/N smiles.

"I've been dying to tell people!" He exclaims.

"So we will tell them at dinner, tomorrow?" She asks.

"Tomorrow." He confirms.

The group had decided to go out to eat at a local Surf'n'Turf place. The boys, yet again, were playfully hitting on Y/N and Chappo was having none of it. Y/N's the absolute love of his life and his past relationships have made him insecure, even though he knows for sure Y/N would never do that to him.

Max had made the mistake of telling Y/N that she was the best looking woman in the restaurant and Y/N could’ve sworn Chappo's ears were steaming and he went green with jealousy.

Y/N just laughed and said she wasn’t. Chappo internally disagreed with her but kept his mouth shut.

"Yeah Y/N, under this light you’re absolutely glowing. You’re stunning. Don’t you think Chap?" Harrison teased.

Chappo rolled his eyes and took a swig of his beer.

"She’s glowing because I got her pregnant." He says nonchalantly with a bit of attitude.

Everyone’s jaws dropped and Y/N busted out laughing.

"That’s not how we were going to tell them babe!"

"It slipped. He was talking about you." He shrugs.

"Jealous, aren’t we?" Y/N teases.

Chappo sighs, but nods. Then he wraps his arm around her.

"That’s right everyone. I’m jealous and my absolutely beautiful girlfriend is pregnant with my baby." Chappo brags.

Deano just looks around the table at everyone’s surprised faces.

"Well, congratulations! Is it a boy or girl?"

Hap-Hap-Happiest Christmas [Peter Mills]🎄

Description: Peter and Y/N miss having Christmas like when they were kids.

"Mills! What's for dinner?" Cruz asks.

Peter was standing at the island looking through a cookbook. He was trying to find a new recipe to try.

He looks up at Cruz and shrugs.

"I guess we will have to see."

Cruz sighs and turns to Y/N who is sitting next to him reading her book.

"Y/N, what's for dessert?"

Y/N closes her book and looks at Cruz.

"Joe, you know you will eat whatever I make. What difference does it make?"

"I am curious. And hungry."

Y/N chuckles and gets up from the table. She walks over to their cabinet to look through it.

"Uh guys?" She says.

Everyone perks up and Y/N turns towards them.

"Someone went through our food. There's pretty much nothing left but ingredients that aren't worth anything."

Everyone gathers around her and the cabinet and groans.

"I'm telling you guys. It has got to be first shift." Otis says.

"Our lock is even on the floor!"

Y/N looks over at Peter, who shrugs.

"I guess we will have to take a ride."

Chief Boden and both Lieutenant's walk into the common room to see what's going on.

"What's going on?"

"Chief! Someone went through our food and trashed it all. What are we supposed to do for Christmas dinner now?!" Mouch asks.

Chief Boden glances at Casey and Severide who both nod.

"Mills, Y/L/N. Do you guys mind taking a ride to the store. I'll give you guys money out of the account."

Y/N nods and walks over to grabs her jacket.

"Yes Chief, we will take the Ambulance and keep our radios on in case we catch a call."

"Does anyone have any special requests?" Peter asks, following Y/N.

"I want apple pie!" Otis replies.

"Yeah, can we have a cake roll too?"

"No we should have pumpkin pie!"

"It's Christmas not Thanksgiving!"

Y/N and Peter share a eye roll before heading out to the rig.

"Okay Pete. I've got my stuff in the oven. Is there anything I can do to help you?" Y/N asks.

Peter was making sweet potato casserole at the moment. Honestly there is nothing Y/N can help do as he's already done a good chunk of it, so he shakes his head.

"You can sit here and hang out with me though." He suggests.

Y/N smiles and jumps up onto the counter.

"So Mills, what do you normally do with your family on Christmas?" Y/N asks.

"Well, we will have breakfast Christmas morning, open gifts, and then finish cooking dishes for Christmas dinner with my moms family. When we were kids, my sister and I would go play outside in the snow. We'd make snowmen, have snowball fights, all of that." He sighs.

"You miss it don't you?" Y/N asks, noticing his change of mood.

"Yeah, I just miss being carefree. Being an adult sucks sometimes."

Y/N nods in agreement, "It does. My mom used to read me Disney Christmas stories each year on Christmas day. Sometimes I can still hear her voice, reading them to me."

Peter notices a tear in Y/N's eye. She wipes it away quickly, but he still saw it.

He places his hand on top of hers and gives it a squeeze.

"You know you can always talk to me about your mom, right?"

"Yeah, I know. It always hits hard around the holidays." She mumbles.

"I understand that. It doesn't really get easier."

"Y/N! Our food sits on that counter, get your butt off of it!" Otis and Cruz walk into the kitchen area going for the cabinet.

"Her butt can stay on the counter! I've seen you eat a meatball sub that had just fallen on the apparatus floor a minute prior." Peter argues.

Y/N looks over at him and mouths, "Thank you."

The next morning Y/N walked out to the rig to do a supply check, and noticed that there was a fresh sheet of snow covering Chicago.

Immediately a lightbulb went off, so she went back into the bunk room and over to Peter.

"Mills." She whispers, "Wake up."

"Why?"

"It snowed."

Peter looks at Y/N like she's gone crazy.

"Let's go have a snowball fight!"

Her eyes were bright with excitement, there's no way he could say no to her.

"Okay!" He laughs.

He gets his shoes on and follows her out to get his jacket and gloves.

Y/N pushes open the side door and walks into the middle of their yard.

She spins around as the snow falls and Peter can't help but admire her. She's always been beautiful, but seeing her like this is even better.

"Isn't this great?!" She exclaims.

He smiles and looks down at his boots, but as soon as his eyes are at the ground he hears a thump and a string of giggles immediately after.

Peter glances up to find Y/N laying on the ground sprawled out.

"Did you just fall?" He asks as he walks over to her.

"Yeah, but now I can make snow angels!"

"You're going to freeze."

"Oh c'mon Pete. It will be fun. We could be kids for a little bit." She smiles up at him.

Peter thinks about it for a few seconds before getting on the ground next to her, almost immediately regretting it because of how cold it is, but he laid down anyways.

"Shit! This is cold!" He exclaims as he moves his arms and legs to make a snow angel.

Y/N erupts into laughter as she does the same.

Inside the rest of Firehouse Fifty-One is watching their two youngblood Paramedics play in the snow.

"We should go out there with them." Cruz suggests.

Everyone agrees and they grab their own coats before going outside.

"Hey guys! Come make snow angels with us!" Peter yells.

"This is so much fun!"

Y/N rolls her head towards Peter and he's already looking at her.

"This is probably the best Christmas I've had in a while."

"I'd have to agree Peter Mills. I feel like a kid again."

"Merry Christmas Chicago!"

Fender Bender [Kelly Severide] 🎄

Description: Kelly doesn’t mind working on Christmas, especially when he gets to meet one of his mens' good friends.

"Squad 3, Truck 81, Ambulance 61. Three vehicle collision, unknown injuries. Roosevelt and Halsted."

Kelt didn't mind working Christmas day. He didn't have anyone to celebrate with, so he'd rather spend it with his firehouse family.

He got his gear on and hopped into his seat in the Squad truck.

"Lieutenant, are you open to dating right now?" Cruz asks as he finishes putting his coat on.

"I'm open to fun, Cruz. Why are you asking?" Kelly replies as he flips the switches for the lights and turns the sirens on.

"Well, I've got a friend who I think you'd really like. She used to be a firefighter, but she got injured in a building collapse, so now she works at Chicago Med in the ED. She is super sweet and funny. I really think you two would go good together."

"I'm not opposed, but I'm not looking to get married right now." Kelly cuts the sirens since they are pulling up to the scene.

"Neither is she." Cruz adds.

Tony pulls the truck up next to the wrecked vehicles and parks it.

Everyone gets out and Kelly goes over to the vehicles to assess the situation.

It's a chain reaction rear end accident. There's one car sandwiched between two others.

The front car is missing the driver, so he moves onto the one in the middle.

"Oh my god!" Cruz exclaims, "Y/N?!"

"Cruz?!" Kelly asks.

"My friend that I was just telling you about. That's her car!" He points to the car in the front without a driver, "Y/N?!" He yells.

"Joey?!" A voice yells from the middle car.

Cruz runs over to the car and Severide follows.

"Y/N what the hell?"

She is in the crushed back seat holding onto the drivers head.

"He's got severe head, neck and back pain, passed out a few minutes ago because of it. He also said he can't feel his fingers. A K.E.D is probably the best way to get him out of here."

Cruz looks at his Lieutenant and Kelly nods, signaling for him to go get the equipment.

"How long have you been off the job?" Kelly asks as he climbs in beside her to asses her injuries and make sure the driver isn't pinned.

"Three years. I was on Truck 78 and got injured in the building collapse over on Logan Boulevard. Ruined my dreams of ever getting on a Squad. I had just gotten my certification, I was just waiting on a opening."

"I'm sure you would've killed it on Squad. Anytime you want you can come on ride alongs with Squad 3." He offers, examining a cut in the side of her face by her eyes.

"I'd like that." Y/N nods.

Gabby comes over to the window and looks inside.

"What do we got Sev?"

"Unconscious male driver, was complaining of severe head, neck and back pain. No feeling in his fingers." He pauses nodding towards Y/N, "C-Spine is stabilized as well. She's got a couple of lacerations, but no other complaints."

Gabby looks over at Y/N and her jaw drops.

"Oh my god, Y/N?!" She exclaims.

Y/N looks over at Gabby and smiles, "No way. Gabriela Dawson. Long time no see! Merry Christmas!"

Cruz comes back and they start to get a C-Collar on the patient to get him hooked up on the K.E.D as well.

Kelly helps Y/N get out of the car and he finally can get a better look to see if she is okay.

"You have any pain, cuts, anything?" He asks.

Y/N spins in a circle and laughs, "Nope! Probably just a few bumps and bruises. I'll sign a refusal."

Kelly nods and smiles at her, getting lost in her own beautiful smile.

"Earth to Lieutenant Severide." She waves her hand in front of him.

Kelly breaks out of his trance to see Cruz standing next to Y/N now.

"Sorry." He clears his throat, "What?"

"We're going to have her stop by the house for Christmas dinner later, if that's alright with you?" Cruz says, with a knowing smirk on his face of course.

"Yeah!- Of course." He exclaims as the police officer comes over to take a statement from Y/N, "I guess we will see you later then?"

Y/N nods, "Yeah, I will see you guys then." She waves and then walks over to the officer.

Kelly and Joe watch her for a few seconds before Cruz turns to his Lieutenant.

"I told you that you'd like her." He jokes.

"Yeah, yeah Cruz. We'll see how dinner goes back at the house." Kelly says as he starts to walk back over to the truck to pack up, trying to hide his pink cheeks.

"Dinner will go swimmingly. Y/N even offered to bring us some dessert since we don't have a baker in the house. She knows the way to a man's heart."

"You're right Cruz. I do like her. She is even bringing us food." Kelly laughs.

"Hey Sev! What's got you blushing over there?!" Casey yells from across the road.

Kelly glances over at Y/N and she just shakes her head with a smile on her face.

"You mean "who"?!"
