But, according to him, Fox never came out and said this because the broadcast network was hoping the show would appeal to a larger audience. - or for when the actor that plays said character publicaly confirms their diagnosis and takes that in consideration when acting) - which is the case of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne, who plays the beloved Newt Scamander in the “Fantastic Beasts” films, said he believes Scamander is on the autism spectrum).
