Loki x Mobius
Summary : Loki and Mobius, overwhelmed with exhaustion, resort to soft touches and a well deserved nap
Working all night, Loki and Mobius had been collecting and examining files for as long as they could remember as of late. When Mobius had told Loki time was different in the Null Time Zone, the God now wished time was predictable. Another file down, Loki consulted to rest his head. Mobius was a humble man, curious and kind hearted, knowing it was time for a well deserved nap...and maybe a shot of whiskey, or two. Using a file, he tapped on the variant's lower arm, catching his partner's attention.
"Come on. It's late and you are going to pass out any second."
"Am not! I'm only resting my eyes, you fool." The God retorted, earning a light chuckle from the agent.
"I'll believe that when I have my jetski."
Deserting his office chair, Mobius tugged on Loki, helping the taller male up and walk about the halls. This was a reoccurance for the past month. Any worker at TVA would believe the pair would drop from exhaustion, yet they always got up and repeated their days. Not to say they hated it, they loved it. Loki was never a man to sit down and do the actual work, but being able to horse around with Mobius, having the bit of fun they could, it was worth every minute.
Once filled with anger and hurt, Mobius was able to conform Loki into the man he is now. The anger and hurt still there and present, but he had become so much more. Loki knew that somewhere, Thor would be proud of the God he had become.
With their heavy footsteps, they arrived to their shared room, having their eyes dead set on the bed in the next room. Their living quarters wasn't large, but it was doable. It held many artifacts and files, still having the hint of warmth and welcoming mixed into the atmosphere.
"Let's get you to bed. I'll follow you." Mobius muttered, taking off his jacket, tossing it onto a random sofa. Loki did the same, a yawn interrupting his tired thoughts.
"You sound like my mother, Mobius. You know I can handle myself."
"I know you can, but it is my job to care for you, you know."
"As is mine." Loki responded, his ocean blue's meeting Mobius's own. A comfortable silence fell upon them as they took in each other's presence, soft touches being exchanged. It was moments like these that truly showed how much they cared for one another. They didn't have to speak a word, but they held more conversations in these times than not. Their touches, soft and sweet, were nothing but reassurance, that this wasn't a dream, a wish that would never be granted.
Their lips, rough and cracked, were fit for them. Then they met, it was as if an explosion of emotions arose, leaving a comfortable high resin between the men, almost like magic. Breaths short and heavy, they met gazes once again, the agent breaking the silence, his voice soft, having the roughness of a bad carving, but the smoothness of a rose petal.
"I love you, Loki." Those four words, so simple, yet so complex, were a mallet to Loki, knocking him to his feet every time. He was a creature that was always told that love wasn't meant for him, a cruel reminder that he was not the same as others. Yet, a mortal had wriggled his way into Loki's life, holding the very emotion Loki wouldn't dream of feeling, shoving it into his face, rubbing it in until the God could see clearly. If Loki had to do it all over again, just to be in this moment longer, he would.
"As I you, Mobius."
As promised, the agent had helped Loki settle into the thick blankets, soon joining his partner, older, but toned arms wrapping around Loki, pushing the God closer to Mobius, just how they liked it. With whispered goodnight's, they drowned themselves in each other's presence, allowing them to return to slumber, work awaiting for them when they awoke.
Marvel and their secrecy are scary

like immediately upon their arrival, he's over the moon
loki detests all the masses of people but nearly melts when he sees how mobius lights up
he does enjoy it later on as well, very much even
sharing mulled wine
butterfly kisses & red cheeks (loki i'm looking at you)
mobius wears the scarf loki made for him for his birthday (personal hc of mine: loki can crochet & knit insanely well)
mistletoes, so many mistletoes
snowflakes in loki's curls make him look even more mesmerising (mobius stop staring please)
mobius gets fairy lights for their apartment
loki shields his tiny husband from all the people bumping into everyone (inspo from the cutest gay couple i saw at the christmas market yesterday thanks guys♡)
they try out all the different food stands together
(since christmas markets tend to have lots of nordic food loki gets to teach mobius about his favourite dishes at home when he was a child)
mobius loves listening to loki anyway, no matter the topic, but hearing him speak so freely of the good aspects of his childhood always warms his heart
they search more quiet spots for breaks when they both get a little overwhelmed
loki sings (though this time only for his husband)
holding hands in each others coat pockets & hand kisses to warm cold skin up
beanies
they try on all the beanies in the whole market (mobius puts them on loki who eventually just surrenders to it)
in the end loki buys them real silly, matching ones (if any artists want to draw this, by all means, go ahead! i'd love that so much but i have zero talent when it comes to drawing)
loki drags mobius to the ice rink, the only thing he's weary of since he's never been ice skating before - but loki is there to help!
he's a pro at it, frosty heritage and stuff
yes i believe frost giants can ice skate really well shush
lots of laughter and banter ensue with mobius attempting to stay upright
the waist hold™ is now reversed to prevent mobius from falling on his butt
but honestly they were gonna be close anyway so
touchy touchy
mobius gets the hang of the whole ice skating ordeal and loki cheers him on when he manages one round around the rink on his own
though he completely rams into loki's back upon his return
when they tire out after a while they get more food, sit around one of the nearby bonfires and cuddle
star gazing when it gets dark & planning for christmas eve
they both sneakily buy gifts for one another when the other's busy with something
mobius gets a little tipsy
too many samples at the liquor shops oops
+ i might add more if anyone likes this but this is what came out for now, enjoy :-D

mobius with owen's normal hair length or longer hair in general would've been breathtaking, but it would've also made me go even more bonkers

okay genuine question i wanna know what's behind the phenomenon of one mobius m mobius- because HOW did this man literally waltz right into my top three marvel characters ranking right after one episode of season 1?

mobius didn't really get it at first but after throughout tutorials by 💕yours truly💕 (signed by loki) he became even more obsessed than the before mentioned god
loki doesn't like blathers and often argues out loud when he drops any fossil/insect/fish/painting off at the museum, which mobius finds incredibly amusing to watch
yet he always relents when mobius suggests a museum date (yep they definitely play together)
mobius #1 characters are isabelle & brewster and he nearly loses it when loki presents him with a selfmade version of her cardigan & the roost cup for his birthday
yep 2x loki knits (did i mention that before? i just love that hc)
loki loves raymond & lucky. might be a little basic, but he absolutely adores them (i love raymond so much agh but i can't find him for the life of me)
mobius became an expert at catching literally anything without even trying
mans caught the wasps the first time he got them and hasn't been stung since
meanwhile
loki nearly gets a heart attack every time a tarantula appears (same)
and mobius always keeps a stash of medicine in his pocket bc his bf keeps getting stung
loki spends forever on custom designs
like hours
same with the mile ticket islands
he stays until that island is e m p t y
while mobius bought a ton of tickets just to search for specific villagers and then dip
loki spends hours on custom designs and mobius spends ETERNITIES diving in the ocean
he loves searching for fish & shells but he also just really likes the water sounds (me)
I'm just saying but if Agent mobius in season 2. ( ˵ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°˵) -
