The Sanguine is a Manananggal, a creature from the Philippines that splits in two in order to hunt for prey. (Search it up, I beg) After recording one as a last resort from being attacked, Myriad discovers that their diet doesn't really consist specifically of unborn children, but of unripe fruits and other things considered young, balut being a favorite food of theirs. Basically an omnivorous vampire! They also possess a "secondary mouth" that connects to the lower half, and is very sensitive to high salt contents. While not displaying their more feral qualities, they blend extremely well in human society.

Myriad is particularly fond of this form, as it's around average height and fits in lots of comfy clothes. They've described the separation of the upper and lower halves like "if locks were made out of squishy flesh and you got a little hungrier when you re-locked it"

the way i beg of rewriters to not tag their shit it as dr bright. if you want no association w bright, dont intentionally associate it w bright lets say i drew my oc Dr OC, but i didnt tag it as Dr OC, i tagged it as Dr Gears. dr gears fans dont look at the dr gears tag to see someone's oc. why is it so normal for people in the scp fandom to do that, just exclusively with dr bright

This has only been a problem with my earlier works as I was still figuring out how to go about with the whole situation as I am a newer scp fan. I was still debating on the whole Shaw vs Bright and it was also before my whole rewrite. I’ll go ahead and fix the tags on my posts now. I’m very sorry for this and thank you for bringing it up.

I only purposefully tagged my rewrite drawing as bright thinking it would help people to understand the origin of it and that it isn’t entirely its own character, but that thinking was definitely flawed.

Transitioning between what I wanted with 963 as a whole has been an experience and moving forward I will not be using bright as a tag whatsoever. To anyone reposting my art please don’t do so either, I’d prefer it being tagged sr dr[name pending].
