Anyway on another subject I am so glad Bungie isn’t going “blank slate protagonist” like they did Master Chief but instead confirming that our Guardian is indeed a character with their own emotions, trauma and reactions to things.

honestly i wouldn't be disappointed if the guardians aggressively befriended the darkness
it would be funny
at least i think so
then we would have two massive entities as friends!
the traveler and the darkness stop their fighting because it makes the guardian sad
dont make guardian sad
the guardians would just be their one mutual friend that they both like but don't want to get upset
so they would be locked out of battle because they don't want to make the guardian sad
their eternal war sopped
by the hands of a bunch of immortal babies
that wanted friendship
the traveler and the darkness just make salt moves at each other behind the guardians back
and stop when they turn around
