just finished archive 81 and ive been informed that ratty has, in fact, been dead since the season 1 finale. and i just didnt fucking notice. i dont think i need to tell you how disappointed and heartbroken i am that a character with such a good heart and so, oh so central to the plot passed away, and it was just brushed off like his death was NOTHING. especially since his death was so gruesome. this really goes to show how arrogant we all are. how arrogant DAN is. how ungrateful we were for ratty while he was here, and the way we continue to brush off his death just because hes a RODENT. THERE WAS NO FUNERAL. NO MOURNING. i cant believe you all. shame on you. shame on DAN.
i think the only good thing the archive 81 netflix adaption could do is let ratty live. if they can diverge from the plot so hard that melody turns straight, then they can let ratty live
when theres 81 archives idk i never read the podcasr
