Little au concept:
What if in one of the different universes, Kayne explained more about his abilities when he first met Arthur, just to see what would happen. In this universe, john was the one who suggested that if things don’t work out Arthur would die and they would work things out in the dark world, In this universe John was the one with the knife, and in this universe, Arthur disagreed with John’s backup plan. When John drove the knife into Arthur’s neck Arthur felt betrayed despite living, and Kayne, after having so many similar conversations, assumes Arthur would want John back, and is surprised when he stands corrected.
Arthur decides that he’s sick of the world, sick of being betrayed by John and sick of himself, so he asks Kayne to help him do the same think Kayne once did. Kayne, intrigued and curious on what would happen if a mortal did so, agrees so long as Arthur can stomach the worst of it, so he takes Arthur to a universe where Arthur is happy. Sure he still experienced loss, not Faroe is alive and his pride and joy, where Arthur’s absence would be felt and hurt the person to whom he holds most of his regrets.

This is Arthur in the God au. He is the God of death and tragedy. He is aroallo and in a queerplatonic relationship with Bella and John. Bella and Arthur have a daughter together named Faroe, Goddess of water, who they love and adore. Arthur loves helping children out after they die. He will let children follow him around until they feel comfortable going into the afterlife or have parents to take the child to the afterlife. He doesn't get angry easy but if your horrible person then he will very aggressive person. He adores Faroe's wife, Addison and is like a Father figure to her.
Arthur, Juno and Warren are all so sad characters. Juno and Warren were both abused as children; Arthur's parents committed suicide. They all manipulated by horrible people who use their own tramua against them.
I can imagine if the song Blackbird by the
Beatles was made in the 1930s, Arthur would sing that to Faroe.
If I had a nickel for a podcast character that has religious trauma I would have two nickels which isn't a lot but weird it happened twice.
If Faroe was Arthur's light and in season three Arthur rarely uses his lighter. Then, Arthur rarely has her with him during one of his mental health wasn't good and he need a reason.

Like come ON!! Come onnnnnnn!!
I saw an ask on @potato-lord-but-not and now I've gone down a rabbit hole. There's currently a trend going on depicting Oscar, Arthur, and John as the Star, Moon, and Sun respectively. Now! What is Noel? He deserves to be in this. I personally interpreted this as tarot and not just the symbols themselves. Due to this, I'm making the pitch that Noel is Judgement! Here's a breakdown of each boi and their corresponding card: Oscar - The Star XVII - The Star is one that comes immediately after some of the roughest cards in the deck. It represents guiding yourself back to your true purpose and finding meaning in it. It's a pouring into both in inner wisdom and outer. I think this fits Oscar really well considering his turbulent spiritual past and finding a new mission through Arthur. Arthur - The Moon XVIII - OUGH! This one is fun! The Moon represents quite literally "being in the dark". It is the unknowable. It is the trusting of instincts and inner voices. There are things that cannot be known, and you are being pulled around by other sources and motives. Now if THAT doesn't sound like Arthur, I don't know what does. John - The Sun XIX - Now this one I struggled the most with relating but I think I've got it. The Sun itself represents overwhelming goodness and things looking up. Now, I think the meaning that it more applicable in this case is the concept of the "inner child". Especially in recent seasons, John is being able to grow into himself as a separate being than the King in Yellow. He's starting to enjoy things, find his likes and dislikes, and find meaning. Maybe there is not a present state of optimism, but John is beginning to display hope and positivity, seating him nicely with The Sun. Noel - Judgement XX - Judgement is the second to last card in the Major Arcana, representing a nearing of completion. It is taking both the past and the present in order to make the right choice and move forward. It is a renewal and a rebirth. Noel was left with mystery and pain from his past. Now, he is confronted with it with Arthur and things are beginning to come full circle. Additionally, Judgement has depictions of vulnerability in it which is present in both Noel's reveal of his alias and the acceptance of John being the King in Yellow. It should be noted that all of these cards are back-to-back in the deck representing their closeness in meaning and reliance on each other. Have fun with it and let me know your thoughts!
OH, WE'RE SO BACK FELLAS! (This is a long one. Bare with me) First of all, I could talk about the song Francesca in relation to those boys in an essay if I wanted to. Holy moley. Go listen to it. That's all I'm sayin. Second of all, I AM screaming. Let's get into it. When I say that the Moon fits Arthur so well, I mean it fits him perfectly. The Moon as a tarot card represents the subconscious, illusion, the inner self, and dreams. It is the representation of having only half the picture and sometimes the full picture being itself unknowable or hidden from you. Starting at the bottom of the card, there is usually a pool of water. Like the previous card, The Star, this represents the inner emotional self. I believe this is represented by the lines in the background at the bottom of this art. It is tumultuous and almost wave-like in nature. Arthur is inherently conflicted both with his inner self and impulses as well as, well, John. This is especially shown in season three, where we see Arthur coming to grips with the fact that he didn't give Yellow the same chance that he did John and this sort of slipping of his kindness. Moving onto the dagger itself. Usually moving up on the tarot card, we see three animals near the water. This is a crayfish, a dog, and a wolf representing the early subconscious, the tame parts of our mind, and the wild. We've got a lot of this represented on this dagger. First, the act of slitting his neck open was probably the most and least thought-out thing that Arthur has done. This is done out of the desire to not have the King In Yellow win and also the deeper innate love and care that Arthur has for John. Second, the dagger itself has both the Star and Sun on it also representing the tame and the wild and Oscar and John. Now, which one is which seems obvious at first, but I don't think we can truly say <3. Like the Oscar card, we have another representation of the purest "giving of the self" through the dagger and Arthur's bleeding wound on his neck. The center of the card! First, we have Moon that's positioned behind Arthur's head rather that above him. So, the fear is coming from the inside rather than the forces high above him. Notice we also have a crescent moon going on meaning that he doesn't have the full picture or full grasp on himself. But this full moon is partially filled! By what you ask? Well, those outlines of the Sun behind it! John and Arthur rely on and partially complete each other. And while the Moon is in the foreground and brighter, representing Arthur going to himself first for decisions, The Sun's dim light behind him represents Arthur leaning on John as well. Not to mention that that Sun outline looks like an eye as well. I see you Potato Lord. I see you. This Moon (and Sun) ((and Star)) is surrounded by the moon phases which are stand-ins for the two towers usually present in the original tarot card. These represent limitations and boundaries. This can come from looking at the moon phases themselves as Arthur and John fighting over dominance in the body and mind or as the ever changing and ever moving pieces that are beyond both of their controls. FINALLY, the Moon's light is inherently dim and following the right path is difficult by the Moon's light alone. Therefore, we have the lighter, proving just enough light to get to the next step. The flame of the lighter here is the one and only Star, Oscar. While we have the dimmer light of John also guiding Arthur, Oscar gave Arthur the opportunity to have someone else to lean on. Someone else to guide him. A new light. A new perspective on things. Another voice to listen to to guide him forward. But John is still there <3. *bows* ... *collapses*
