normally when you tuck yourself into bed with your lover, you expect him to snuggle into you immediately as he’s done many times.
so why was he scooting away from you instead? and why is he looking at you like he wants to fight?
you blink once and twice before looking at him quizzically. your lover is a man that is undoubtedly and obviously whipped for you, so why now is he acting like it’s the opposite?
“what are you doing?” you finally ask after multiple beats of silence. you watch him turn his head to the side and scoff, his glare intensifying at your arms.
or rather, what was nestled in it.
he narrows his eyes, “there’s an impostor here.”
you quirk an eyebrow, confused, before following his gaze down to your lap.
“why do you have that thing?” he side eyes the big plushie you’re hugging close to your chest.
oh. so that’s what this was about?
you sigh a bit dramatically, amused. “this ‘thing’ is comfortable to sleep with,” you mock his tone, gesturing to the plushie. “plus, he’s literally custom made to look like you.”
he scoffs before crossing his arms. “it’s custom made to look like me? but all it looks like is a filthy homewrecker!”
you laugh, shoulders shaking while he gapes at you (even though you can see the upward quirks of his lips as his facade threatens to break).
“this is no laughing matter, my dear wife!”
he lifts up his hand to point accusingly at the plushie that looks like his clone. “and you! why are you trying to ruin our relationship, huh?” he pokes his face repeatedly, each time putting more and more force.
“you wont take my wife, you hear me?!”
you giggle, watching the amusing interaction play out. “i can’t believe you’re seriously upset over something like this.”
he stops after processing your words. his gaze darkens a little and he reaches both his arms out to shakily grasp your shoulders. “honey, this is a serious situation! this thing is trying to ruin our lives!” he frowns, shaking you slightly.
“you’re a clown.”
“wh- hey!”
“it’s just a plushie, it can’t do anything wrong.”
“oh, so i’m the bad guy now, is that it? sorry for protecting our marriage then!”
you purse your lips to prevent anymore laughter to spill out and provoke your husband to poke the innocent plushie more. “baby, let’s just go to sleep, alright?”
his eyes soften when you reach out to pull his arm closer to you but suddenly narrows at the plushie still on your lap, his favourite pillow.
“sure, on one condition,” he states before picking the plushie up and throwing it out of the bedroom, quickly locking the door.
(you never saw that plushie again and he claims he has nothing to do with it.)

Literally the sweetest boyfriend ever
Would constantly bring you things like bentos, flowers, chocolate, they can even get as random as just a random pretty rock he found.
Constantly have those simple conversations with you like discussing the weather and things about Zenitsu and Inosuke.
He really enjoys when you wave at him or just in general make it obvious that you know him in front of people.
Every single night he texts you, just to talk, which often makes him apologize for bothering you. (He really never does)
Zenitsu
Clingy.
You can't convince me otherwise, he's a very clingy boyfriend.
He definitely does respect your boundaries, and he's not constantly seeking for you.
His favorite moments with you are when you two are sitting outside eating lunch together.
He does absolutely everything to impress you just because he really wants you to feel proud of him.
When on dates, he always wants to hold your hand.
He loves breakfast dates, whether it's just at McDonald's he still enjoys your company.
He trusts you so much that he lets out every single one of his emotions when he is with you.
Inosuke
Sometimes you feel embarrassed of him.
Sometimes proud.
You really don't even know how you feel sometimes.
Very crazy, not a gentleman when it comes to food.
You often have to hit him when he says something he shouldn't have or does something.
Sure, he'll listen to you but only because he doesn't want you to get mad.
If he ever comes over be prepared to lose some things, anything he grabs he won't keep an eye on.

“Should things really be that way?” you heard your boyfriend yell from the other room, soon coming into yours with tears in his eyes.
“I'm sorry Zenitsu, it needs to be like this.” you felt guilt for what you had done, there was no way that Zenitsu would ever forgive you, if not even face your direction again.
You felt bad… you would never want this for yourself either and here you were breaking someone else's heart about it.
“You'll regret this…” he mumbled, anger filling every corner of his veins, turning around and making his way to the next door room.
“Zenitsu…”
No response…
“Zenitsu! Where are you going!?”
Still no response…
And just when you thought things couldn't get worse-
Goodness, you already forgot what went through your mind during the careless action, Zenitsu was stubborn, of course he wouldn't let it go until justice was served.
Your worst suspicions came true when you saw him walk into the kitchen… make his way to the fridge… and grab your mochi that you had left from the previous night.
“Zenitsu put that down! We can talk about this!” You pleaded, as Zenitsu brought a piece into his mouth and watched you cry at the loss of your well served mochi.
“Should've thought about that when you ate that ramen I left yesterday!”
“Look! I'm sorry!”
“I won't accept apologies anymore- I'm a grown man…”
“You're 16..”
“Shut up!!!!”

Me and my great disappointment when the author writes an interesting character with a neat backstory, a cute/attractive design, and fun dynamics with other characters… but then makes them an overly perverted simp.
