I came up with for myself a couple of years ago two twin sisters of fallen angels. I remember the approximate plot, but when I tried to remember their significance in my plot, I realized that they act as third-party characters who occasionally interfere with the characters of Hellsing
They were little girls, obedient, but very fond of talking about life. They were expelled from Paradise for dissent and causing harm, and their semi-demonic origin also played a role, which they realized that hour (which is visible in their eyes, they have black whites, which is “abnormal”)
They love to meddle in the affairs of mere mortals. Tenebria, for example, used to be a regular visitor to Hellsing Manor during Sir Arthur's time, having a brief affair with Richard. And Selys had fun confronting Iscariot, starting a new fight with Anderson, out of boredom
(They are both three meters tall, but they can control their height. In Hellsing, they would be the tallest ladies with a thousand years of experience)

and the way everyone who is witness to his tears looks on in sadness and disbelief, because tears are the very last thing you would expect from him, especially in the moment of an enemy's defeat. not only does alucard mourn anderson because he always held a significant amount of respect, but anderson's choice of turning his back upon humanity + his death was also a symbol of alucard's dream coming to an end. to be defeated by a human hand. he no longer desired to live an eternal regret, and he saw anderson as one of the main gateways for his curse to finally be put to rest.
alucard versus anderson will always be one of the greatest and most complex rivalries in anime history for me, and this clip alone explains why.
