Official Depreciation Notice: Twitter Accounts
it's no secret that Twitter has been rapidly losing its luster over the past year, to the point where the site has become frustrating to use, and my social media presence there has become challenging to maintain. as a result, i have begun winding down my use of the site, with intent to close down all presence on Twitter by the end of the year.
what exactly will this process look like?
i have begun closing down my side accounts, effective immediately. if you're familiar with these side accounts, you can find almost all of them on Tumblr or Bluesky instead (Mastodon alternatives also in the works).
NowUKnowGaming has always used an automated crossposter, and as such will remain on Twitter as long as it is economical to keep the crossposter running. you can also find alternative sites for NUKG on its front page @ nowuknowgaming.com.
as for my main Twitter account @skysometric, i intend to wind down all original posts there over the coming months. my only remaining presence on that account will be from an automated crossposter with links to all my new blogposts, videos, and livestreams. by the end of the year i will lock my account entirely, and my bio will be set to redirect people to my links page. at this time, i do not intend to delete my account.
as for what you can do to help...
if you would like to keep following me, you can follow me here on Tumblr or use my links page to follow me on another social media site. thank you for your continued support!
if a site is not listed on my links page, i might still have an account there (@skysometric everywhere), but i make no guarantees for whether i will maintain that account.
i still refuse to use anything owned by Meta, so no Facebook, Instagram, or Threads. sorry!
if all else fails, i'm on discord. i'm sure you can guess my username!
finally, i would like to mention that there will be no loss of data from deprecating my Twitter account – i have downloaded backups of my accounts and i will be making a public Twitter archive site using that data! these accounts have a lot of important and meaningful personal history, so i want to preserve that legacy in the most respectful way i know how... with web design, of course 💖
by the time i deprecate my Twitter account, it will be about ten years old – so thanks for sticking with me for all this time, and i'll see you on the other side of wherever we all choose to end up!

posting stream archives on main was a good idea back when my streams were more sporadic, but these days i stream pretty consistently and all the archive posts are taking up a LOT of space. so we're splitting this up into separate feeds – archives will soon be posted on a separate, automated account!
you can find the account @skysometricstreams, though it's still in the process of being set up, so don't expect anything fancy yet. it'll use the same crossposter that i wrote for @nowuknowgaming!
and i'll still boost some of the best stream archives here – but less frequently from now on

hey friends and porn bots who are following me for some reason how have ya been ? let me cut to the chase I have mental heath issues and i am getting therapy. shits been hard in my life right now but rest assured things are slowly improving. some of you may notice that i am a sad bitchy little ball of anger that gets mad easily. This is true and i am getting help for that. anyways: I deleted some of my older posts nothing insane just posts that were bitter and salty and not a lot of people even read. I want to be a better person and live a happier life rather than being that one chronically online freak that thinks the government is planting sleeper agents off to destroy society or whatever people are on about right now. My "if you send me hate i am either going to ignore or send you boring links to insurance company websites" rule still applies because i very much do not want to validate terrorists or the mentally insane. thank you. on a related topic, I don't want to make any promises, but at the moment I am working on a webcomic. Nothing to do with the april fools day post, that was just a joke. This is a passion project I spent years on and now that i have experience making comics and good art, I want to make something of my own. Do not expect serious updates or anything huge from this comic, I am only one person and this is an unfunded project. I look forward to your support.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FROM MY CHANNEL ON YOUTUBE!!
Hey guys, it's Malachite! As the title of the text states I'll be making announcements for my channel on Tumblr. The reason for this is because I don't feel like I have time to create one on my Youtube channel, not just 'cause I'm lazy, but also because I have school stuff to do. So from here on in, I'll be posting announcements here instead of on Youtube. (Also I'll try to keep you guys updated on what I'll be doing in my channel, so be sure to stay tuned! <3) Speaking of, I have two ADDITIONAL announcements that I wanna share with you all, if any of you have seen the stuff that I made on my channel, then I'm here to tell you that I won't be making videos out of random with no exact content. So instead I'll be trying my hand at animations, so I hope all of you would like them (since it's gonna be my first time animating, so wish me luck ^^'). Second would be that in two weeks I would having my one year anniversary of my channel. To celebrate I'll be making my first AMV (Animated Music Video), with the inspiration of the first video I made on my channel, "Teeth" (credits to the band who wrote it!) and the game called "Bloody Bunny". However since I school, I might not be able to post it on time, so it might be a bit late. And those are the announcements that I like to share from my channel. Basically, Berry recently has been brought back from the past. Now with a friend who follows him on the way, his experiences are getting remade!

The founder (Plushy) himself has stated that the remake is going to be a prequel to one of the most focused-on projects, Crystal Hijack, and show how Berry arrived to the city Objectopia!
Characters like MePhone4, Coiny and Teardrop will be swapped for original characters!
