10 Zillion Replies Under The Cut For @youdonelostyourmind, @katrisims ,@holleyberry ,@anotherplumbob

10 zillion replies under the cut for @youdonelostyourmind, @katrisims , @holleyberry , @anotherplumbob  , @elfpuddle , @dunne-ias , @penig , and @greenfooddog .

(Also, @dunne-ias , I saw you catching up on Bluewater posts.  Thanks for all the likes.)

I’m so glad you guys are enjoying the Bachelor challenge.  It’s actually nearly over - can you believe it?  That means I actually have to start working on Round 3...

youdonelostyourmind replied to your photoset

“It was really, really close, but… Malcolm:  Holly, I really like you,...”

He really doesn't like blondes, does he. (Obviously Sharon wasn't blonde and maybe I'm still bitter about Lottie's leaving, but YAH KNOW what can you do? *joking*)

No, you have a point.  He had three blondes in the competition (I think), and I believe all of them have gone home.  I’m not sure what’s up with that...

katrisims replied to your photoset

“Cynthia: Sharon, I’m so sorry you got eliminated.  I know you and...”

... and that's pretty much exactly why I didn't want Sharon to win! :P

holleyberry replied to your photoset

“Cynthia: Sharon, I’m so sorry you got eliminated.  I know you and...”

Except Malcolm.

anotherplumbob replied to your photoset

“Cynthia: Sharon, I’m so sorry you got eliminated.  I know you and...”

Oh Sharon, but he's cute AND rich! Those are harder to come by Hahaha I'm just catching up on your Bachelor challenge and I'm loving it!

I think Sharon was a bit more hurt than she let on, but she’s definitely the kind of person who would put on bravado rather than letting anyone know that she was hurt.  It’s easier for her to say, “There are other guys out there” than to accept the fact that she was rejected.

katrisims replied to your photoset

“After Sharon left, the daily hot tub date occurred.  Penny was the...”

Poor Penny!

Penny’s pretty easy going, so it doesn’t bother her too much to be left out.

Bye!!! (So happy!)

holleyberry replied to your photoset

Aw :( Now I got to pick another favorite.

katrisims replied to your photoset

“Bye Sharon!  Malcolm really did like you, but your score was just too...”

Adios, Sharon! For me, she was one of the ones that talked about Malcolm like he's a trophy of some kind, so no big loss in my book. Still rooting for Penny here.

dunne-ias replied to your photoset

“Bye Sharon!  Malcolm really did like you, but your score was just too...”

Rooting for Charlotte now that Sharon is gone. Poor Sharon. She should go home and marry Luis instead.

Ha ha!  I love the opposite reactions here.  I actually liked Sharon quite a bit, and I think it would have been interesting if she’d won.  Maybe she’ll show up again someday.  I think I’ve said before that all these ladies are going to stay in the neighborhood.  (Actually, they live downtown, but, you know...)

youdonelostyourmind replied to your photoset

“Cynthia:  Aww, Lottie, I’m so sorry you got eliminated! Lottie:  I...”

You go, girl! Lottie will bounce back, no question.

youdonelostyourmind replied to your photoset

I'm heartbroken. Lottie was "the one" for sure!

youdonelostyourmind replied to your photoset

“Malcolm’s last two flirts didn’t go so well.  He couldn’t even flirt...”

Oh no!! Lottie?!

Lottie will definitely bounce back.  I think she’s pretty cute, so I’m sure we’ll see her around.

penig replied to your photoset

“Malcolm is supposed to do two flirts with each girl before elimination...”

It's the chess.

Yep.  That’s what it’s there for.  I’m still regretting putting in quite so many chess tables, though.  The draw to those things (and the hot tubs) is kind of crazy!

didilysims replied to your photoset

“With all the ladies gathered and introduced, Malcolm is ready to look...”

Your Malcolm is the cutest.

I love him.  He’s definitely become a huge favorite since I started this new version of Bluewater Challenge, and I love telling his story.

didilysims replied to your photo

So great. I notice no one's asked for Malcolm's opinion on this big event yet... Can't wait to see it. (And the advantage of catching up so late is that I don't have to wait long!)

The challenge is nearly done.  As of right now, I think there are three girls left in the competition?  Malcolm definitely does have an opinion on all this, but the show hasn’t wanted to show it.  I was going to go a lot more in-depth with writing this and do more testimonials, etc. but it ended up being easier to just put in the girls’ thoughts after each elimination and not much else. Malcolm will get a chance to have his say, though.  ;)

katrisims replied to your photoset

“Cynthia:  Aww, Lottie, I’m so sorry you got eliminated! Lottie:  I...”

Sorry to see Lottie interpret it this way - and I definitely hope that's not how Malcolm thinks.

I think if the situation was different - if they had met naturally rather than during this televised competition - Malcolm and Lottie might have gotten along.  Competitions like this do funny things to people.

elfpuddle replied to your photoset

“Malcolm’s last two flirts didn’t go so well.  He couldn’t even flirt...”

Ms. "Imma gonna win this" rejected him? That's not how to do it, Sharon!

holleyberry replied to your photoset

“Malcolm’s last two flirts didn’t go so well.  He couldn’t even flirt...”

Sharon?!

Apparently, the hot tub was more important than actually getting to know the guy you want to win.

katrisims replied to your photoset

“12 o’clock rolled around, which meant it was time for the next...”

Too bad, Lottie was one of the nicer ones in the interviews. But well, the top 2 are still two of those, so that's good.

I’d love to explore more with Lottie one day.  She’ll still be around in the background of the regular rounds so we will see her again. :)

greenfooddog

replied to your photoset

“Malcolm’s last two flirts didn’t go so well.  He couldn’t even flirt...”

*whispers* Do they not understand how the show works?

Apparently not.  They made no effort to get to know Malcolm in their own time.

greenfooddog replied to your photoset

“Welcome back to Bachelor day 2!  Today, Malcolm will flirt once with...”

I love the way you just covered up her face! This is my editing style!

Hey, it works, right?  I never spend too much time editing my pictures (and it probably shows).  The banner for the challenge, with the ring in place of the O, is the most complicated picture I’ve ever put together.

Here it is - a really, really, REALLY long replies post for all of the Bluewater posts I’ve done so far.  Thank you so much for all the responses to the story.  I’ve loved seeing them.  Look under the cut for a LOT of replies.

@holleyberry, @penig, @anotherplumbob Abby is actually pregnant in-game, she wasn’t showing at the time I shot the pictures.  I have custom versions of my pregnancy defaults in too, and giving Abby the fat state + the outfit meant I could have her in the color I wanted.  Malcolm definitely intends to sue for full custody.

@holleyberry - Other than one wavering moment, I don’t think Malcolm is going to listen to her again.

@katrisims, I’m curious to see where it goes too!

@penig, @holleyberry, @katrisims, @anotherplumbob, and @youdonelostyourmind - The revelation hit Malcolm pretty hard.  I think he’d probably imagined this scene happening differently with Abby before she showed her true colors.  But, as we saw, he did decide not to move her in.

@anotherplumbob, @katrisims, @penig - Telling Abby off was a big release for Malcolm, I think.  He finally got everything off his chest.  Abby definitely wasn’t expecting it.  Remember when she mentioned that he doesn’t have the temper to match his eyebrows?  She’d never seen him this mad before, and she was pretty shocked by his reaction.

I think we are going to see Malcolm building up a few more walls for himself after the whole Abby scandal.  He doesn’t want to be hurt again, and he doesn’t want to be manipulated.  I don’t think he’ll be soured for life, but he’s definitely a lot more cautious about relationships.

@anotherplumbob - Aww, thanks!  I’m glad you like my version of Malcolm.  I think he does tend to be portrayed as the ruthless businessman.  I think this version of him could become that version - especially after what happened with Abby - but at the moment, he’s not quite there.

@penig - Fleming is pleased.  He’s very pleased.  He was surprised that Malcolm would choose this, though.  Malcolm had been trying to live up to the old rules of the legacy up to this point, and if Fleming were in his place, he wouldn’t give up three generations of hard work and fortune-building. But the firm has all the money now, so Fleming is quite happy that Malcolm chose this route. It means Fleming doesn’t have to do anything sneaky.

@dunne-ias - Ha ha ha ha ha!  Patience, my friend.  We will get there.

@anotherplumbob - Oh, I think she was. ;-)

@dunne-ias - That’s a big jump.  Marry her after one hug?

@penig - She would not have minded at all. :)

@anotherplumbob - It’s going to be a change for him for sure.  Of course, in game he has the skills to start at Vice President in the Business career, so he’s probably got a corner office, but in the story he’s in a cubicle.  I think having Charlotte just across the way will be a nice perk, though. ;)

@dunne-ias - Let’s see how dinner goes first.

@esmeiolanthe - I think the baby mama drama will indeed rear its ugly head some time soon.

Lol at the rich ladies shopping at the thrift store with their big fur coats lol

It amused me so much to see them there, and in Jason’s store. I’m pretty sure I made all of them for Malcolm’s bachelor challenge.  They’re all floating around Downtown, not being played.  It’s fun to see them in the background when I take sims around town.

#TeamJodie

We’ll see what you think by the end of the round. I’m trying not to play favorites, but I might be leaning more toward one twin than the other.  See if you can pin down my preference. 😉

Also,  @delicatesoul88 and @hollywood3015, I see you catching up on things!  If anyone else wants to catch up on what’s happened in Round 3 here in Bluewater, you can do that HERE.  If you want to read from the beginning, you can do that HERE.  Links to read Round 1 and Round 2 are on the Bluewater Challenge page on my blog, found HERE.

Thanks for all the likes and replies so far, and I look forward to seeing what you guys think of the rest of the round!

Jason is, indeed, a classy gentleman.  In his defense, uh...Sheila is really hot, okay?  And she likes him a lot.  And she’s hot. Shut up!

On Jodie:

Well done Jodie! You also deserve to have fun!

penig replied to your photoset “After a little while, Jason finally brought up something he’d wanted...”

Go out and find yourself somebody to bring home, Jodie. You both have a right to your lives and if you weren't prepared fot this you shouldn't room together.

Jodie does deserve to have fun, and she’s determined to have it.  In between, you know, beating her brother at this business contest and proving herself as an entrepreneur. As for living with her brother, it was a necessity rather than a choice.  Real estate in Bluewater isn’t exactly cheap, and he is her twin.  She does love him, even if he doesn’t always deserve it.  At this point, though, I think Jodie is seriously thinking about moving out.

Thanks for the replies and the likes, guys! :-)

@anotherplumbob -- John wasn’t picking up because it was about 3 in the afternoon and he was still at work.  Jodie definitely needed someone other than the female Slob to talk to, and she absolutely needs to be loved.  Luckily, John is a Good Chap and he will absolutely provide her the love and care she needs.  (I adore him. Have I mentioned that?)

Final Replies for Larsons Round 3

Final Replies For Larsons Round 3

Thank you so much for all the responses on this round!  Even if you didn’t comment, I saw all your likes and even a couple of reblogs!  It always made my day.  I’m slowly playing through the Jacquet round now, so I’m tentatively going to say that’ll be out by the end of the month/early September.  (A lot of this depends on whether or not I get another job.  I’ve got an interview on Monday.  Cross your fingers for me!)

Anyways, there’s a ton of replies here, so I am putting them under a cut.  (Incidentally, does anyone else find it annoying that replying with x-kit puts all your replies in order from most recent to least recent?  Sometimes I go through and copy/paste them in the right order, but I didn’t feel like it tonight...)

Thanks again, friends!  I’ll see you again soon in Bluewater.

anotherplumbob replied to your photoset

To be honest I didn’t even remember these two from TS2 times! But it was really fun to read about them! I loved that

*You made their personalities so complex. Jodie is not Ms Perfect as it may seem at first, and she has issues of her own! And I loved that both siblings found someone! Both matches are perfect! Although I’m a bit worried about both John and Jodie wanting to marry a rich sim ! :O and also wonder what will happen with Jason and Sheila since Sheila is afraid of marriage...

Thanks so much for all the comments on the round!  It was always nice to see your thoughts and reactions.  I feel like none of the Bluewater sims are really well known (except maybe Malcolm, who has other incarnations in other games).  Jason and Jodie came in the Sim Bin with Bluewater, which meant you had to add Bluewater Village to your base neighborhood and then check the bin to find them and then put them in a house.  They don’t show up a lot in most people’s stories.

That being said, I’m so glad you liked how I portray them.  I was initially thrown off by them this time because in a previous incarnation of Bluewater, they got along so well!  I like them more after this round.   I think we’ll see a bit of conflict with both their stories as we continue on, and I think John and Sheila will be perfect to add more spice to their round as well.

Thanks again!

anotherplumbob replied to your photoset “Our other new sim is John Whitaker, Jodie’s boyfriend and new...”

He’s quickly become one of my faves too!

John is pretty awesome.  I’m hoping to see him around a bit more.

anotherplumbob replied to your photoset “Before we end the round, let’s meet the new sims who have joined the...”

Sims logic: “wants to get engaged; fears getting married” lol I look forward to seeing where their story go!!

Yep.  Silly sims. I’d like to spend a bit more time with Jason and Sheila next time and see how things develop.

holleyberry replied to your photoset “Holy crap.  I was not expecting to enjoy the Larsons.  I really,...”

I enjoyed the round. The sibling rivalry between these two is always fun. I think they both have good points and I hope that now that they are on their own they can reconcile their relationship.

I’m glad you enjoyed.  I loved seeing your likes and comments as you went through.  I think living apart is definitely going to be good for the twins, but they definitely need to find time to sit and hash everything out, even if they don’t want to.

mishas-sims reblogged your photoset and added:

the Larsons are on of my favorite pre-made families from the Sims 2. I love who you chose to be their significant others. My Jodie almost always ends up with Malcom Landgrab and my Jason almost always ends up with John Mole

Cool!  I chose townies for both of them because I have a rule about that in my neighborhood rules.  (Also Malcolm is spoken for.  Kind of.)  I’ve always wanted to try getting Jodie and Malcolm together, though.  I almost thought about including her in his bachelor challenge at the start of the round, but decided against it because she’d already met John.  Thanks for reblogging and adding your thoughts!  :)

goneril-capp replied to your photoset “Holy crap.  I was not expecting to enjoy the Larsons.  I really,...”

Just can't stop laughing at bland face one downtownie. I really enjoyed the round. I can't wait for round four!

I can’t wait either!  We’ve got five more families to get through, so it might take a little while, but we’ll get there eventually!  John’s face may be bland, but it’s also really cute. I feel like we simmers sometimes make fun of the premade face templates, but a lot of them are nice. You might have noticed that, although I gave him a bit of a makeover, I couldn’t really stray too far from his original look.  It was just too iconic.

anotherplumbob replied to your photoset “On the last night of his part of the round, Jason took Sheila to...”

Awww! Congratulations to the happy couple! This won’t be the only glitch they’ll have to face in their married life and Jason did great not to change his plans because of it haha

Jason may fly by the seat of his pants a lot, but he’s also very determined.  Besides, proposing by the fountain made for way better pictures anyways.  (I really need to redesign Londoste to have a good table for engagements...)

anotherplumbob replied to your photoset “Back at Jason and Sheila’s house, Sheila is the unluckiest sim I...”

Lol this sim is cursed!

She really must be!  Neither the fire nor the robbery were planned.  I’m looking forward to what else happens with Sheila next time around. She definitely keeps life interesting!

anotherplumbob replied to your photoset “Jodie finally got her night with John. As she finally fell asleep with...”

Yessss! This is so sweet! :)

anotherplumbob replied to your photoset “Jodie was drunk, tired, and upset about the fire when John got her to...”

Still, poor Jodie has needs too...:p

Yes.  Yes, she does.

anotherplumbob replied to your photoset “Sheila slunk off to bathe (and have a good cry). Jodie let Jason have...”

Thank God John was there!! Also, Jodie has a point: she burnt the freaking kitchen down lol

That’s the thing -- both twins have a point.  Sheila didn’t set the kitchen on fire on purpose.  She’s just seriously unlucky. But, she did burn the house down and Jason wasn’t taking that seriously or respecting his sister’s feelings.  Like I said, at some point these guys are going to have to sit down and talk things out.  Whether or not that happens in Round 4, we’ll have to wait and see.

In the meantime, thanks again to everybody who liked, commented, and reblogged this round.  I really had a lot of fun with it and I’m excited to see what happens next. See you soon!

Hi!! :) I hope everything is good! I was wondering how your Bluewater save is going? Any chance you’ll be posting the next rotation soon? :) I miss it in my dashboard! :D hope you have a great day!

Hey!  I’m doing fine. I haven’t really poked at my Sims lately.  I have Bluewater posts in the drafts folder, waiting for me to finish the Gieke/Roseland round, but I just haven’t felt like playing.

I’ve been really active over my Undertale writing side blog, if anyone is interested in that, but I just don’t feel like simming at the moment.  I’m sure it’ll come back around at some point.  Thanks for checking in!
