Dooon't go on, you'll get addicted! Hehe, joke aside, pose boxes are great. Perhaps you already found out this, but you can play several poses at once with some boxes and also mix face overlays (like fear, then fear/horror and then horror) for effect!
I did see that. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’ll definitely play around with it more and see what else I can do with them. I don’t intend to download more, but you never know...Thanks for the tips!

Sometimes you just gotta do what you just gotta do.
Yep. I think it was worth it. I got the picture I wanted, and now I can take more pictures that I want, as opposed to pictures that are as close as I can get to what I want with what I’ve got.

I've been experimenting with TS4 recently, too. Trying out a legacy (so far it's been fun, but I think I'll keep it unpublished at least until I'm fairly certain it holds my interest), so I'll be curious to see yours. :)
I’ve played through most of the first generation, so I’m hoping these guys will hold my interest for a while. I’ll be interested to see yours if you ever decide to share it. :)

I felt so, so bad for killing Yves. Denise and Gilbert immediately missed him (and keep in mind, I had only created him about five minutes earlier in CAS and set their relationships with the SimBlender). They were still incredibly torn up about it. Gilbert even impaled himself on a stop sign!
Denise just made this face a lot. It made for great story telling opportunities, but it just broke my heart in half... :(

I feel so sorry for Denise in the story, but this got me laughing out loud. :D At least the in-game Denise seems to have it a little bit better. :)
In-game Denise only really stayed in her room because I locked the door for her. She was really, really broken up about Yves, though. They had three bolts (in the 5 minutes he was alive) and they were ridiculously adorable together.

Denise is over the worst of her grief, I think. Yves’s ghost coming in and scaring her kind of jolted her back to reality. She’s still upset (obviously) but I think she’s got a goal or two now, and Denise with a goal is a force to be reckoned with. She’ll pull through. :)

It was lovely reading this! Btw, on the topic of re-making Yves: if you have SimPE, you can still extract him even though he’s dead. I have feeling that maybe you were on a Mac, but just in case you aren’t.
Thanks! :) I am on a Mac, so unfortunately I can’t do any of those cool things people do with SimPE. At some point I’ll find a way to recreate Yves again.

I have been horrible about responding to replies lately, so have a bunch. And a picture of my real cat, because he’s adorable.

Cat-owner problems! And if you pick him up and carry him in, he expects you to do that every time.
I usually use my foot to gently encourage the cat to make up his mind, but I guess that’s not an option in the Sims. :)

Yeah, you've really got to wonder about their priorities.
I know, right? I mean, a missing cat is surely the worst thing that’s happening in Bluewater tonight. Why can’t they send out a team to find the poor thing and bring her home?

Actually, no you wouldn't. I didn't even consider the possibility that cats could run away, so I didn't bother putting anything in the points about that. Maybe I should?

Ouch! Well on the plus side, at least the fire's out. And maybe you can get poor Samantha back yet.
I’d never had a cat run away in game before. Of all the cats who could have run away, though, I think Samantha would be the best equipped to live on her own in the wild. She really seemed to like rolling around in the street and running about like a crazy thing.

Guilty. I do the same as well. Anyway, Tara show have known that there was going to be consequence to what she did.
We should all know there are consequences for teasing a cat, but they’re just so cute! I think the cute tends to make us forget what happened last time.

I was really glad when Samantha was brought back. I believe it was a random townie who returned her, but I don’t remember off the top of my head...I’d never seen it happen either. I thought the cop would bring her back in a police car. At least she came back.

Wow, she's taking a long time for a Sim! Which is totally appropriate because Sims get over death of a loved one unusually quickly...and also so sad. :(
She really is. I’m not sure why. She’s still completely despondent in game right now. I’m hoping to find a way to cheer her up once I get back to her house, but I’ve just started playing Round 2 of the Landgraab household, so Denise will have to wait a while...I need to find her a friend or two...

It wasn’t Checo, although I’d like to get him abducted at some point too. We’ll see what’s in his random generator this round.
I think the house in the background there was actually Malcolm’s house (although he wasn’t the lucky abductee either; that could be fun), but that wouldn’t have given you much of a clue. The Delarosa, Tinker, Ramirez, and Larson houses are all across the street from the Manor, although you’d have a time seeing it from the Larson house.

I don’t know. Malcolm doesn’t actually have a lot of friends in Bluewater. He has a lot of customers, but he’s spent the majority of his time outside of work getting to know Abby. I don’t know that anyone in town will feel strongly enough about this to write a Letter to the Editor. (How sad is that?)

She wrote that fast! The autobiography must have an index.
I think Abby probably had most of the article written up beforehand. She had to do some fact checking (hence the autobiography) and she needed the quotes from Malcolm, but the rest could be written and saved until she could fill in the blanks. She also had Mr. Fleming the lawyer as a source (as revealed in today’s post). This whole thing has been cooking for a while.

Poor, poor Malcolm indeed. He needs a hug, poor guy! I’d promise that it’ll all work out for him in the end, but I honestly don’t know that. I haven’t planned or played past this round. I do prefer happy endings, though, so I suspect things will get better eventually.

He’s actually dated a few women in this version of Bluewater, but Sheila is the one he likes best. I have a tendency to try to pair up my sims really fast, so I am trying to have Jason and his sister date around before settling down.

@didilysims - Goofus is the perfect word for Jason. Jodie can be a goofus sometimes too. She’s certainly not making the best decisions at the moment. (Neither is Jason...)
@katrisims and @penig - I think we’ve seen that Jason doesn’t tend to make the best decisions. We’ll see how this plays out. I think he’s going more on the “this way my sister can’t catch me again” argument than the “Sheila will be a great employee” argument. (Again, goofus.)

@penig, @katrisims, and @dunne-ias - It is too close to call at the moment, you’re right. I think Jodie is taking it more seriously, but Jason is the one who gets lucky more often. We’ll have to wait and see, I guess.
@didilysims - The rivalry does still frustrate me. (More on that in my behind-the-scenes post that should be up shortly.) It surprises me every time the twins manage to get along. I mean, it’s a nice surprise, but it’s still a surprise. I hope they’ll either grow up and get over things or that one of them will decide to move out once the competition is over. I may make them background characters after their challenge is done. We’ll see how I feel about them when that finally happens.

I think I figured it out. My guess is that when you ask tumblr to review a post that was flagged incorrectly, it goes ahead and lets your post go up while it’s in review purgatory. Since my posts were in the queue, they got posted. It’s not a solution to the problem, but at least it’s an explanation? Maybe?

I’m keeping an eye on the neighborhood in case that glitchiness was a sign of VBTs to come. I haven’t noticed anything else really bad recently. Thanks ! I...kind of created the challenge? I didn’t make up all the mini challenges the families are playing through by any means. The only ones that were my idea are the Ten Kids Challenge and the business challenge the Larsons are doing. All I really did was decide which family was going to play each challenge. It was mostly a way to keep myself a bit more interested in each household in the neighborhood while I played.

That just means Malcolm has some sense in his head! I'm a little wary in general, there were maybe two potentially likeable candidates based on the interviews... Well, Malcolm is up for some interesting times, that's for sure!
The contestants were chosen based on their potential chemistry with Malcolm and their potential to get the show views. I’m not sure how the calculation worked on those, but at least Malcolm will have some interesting choices. Right?
