First... James is a pure-blood, second, WHERE IS IT THAT SAYS HE'S A PRINCE? Where did this come from? Or did they get it from some knockoff fanfic🤠🙌🏻
"James is the real Half-Blood Prince" theory
I don't understand it because why??? Who came up with this idea??? It doesn't make sense because: (1) Why would Severus write what James says?? I mean, there was other ways to impress Lily, why Potions??? (2) He corrected a (correct me if I'm wrong) WHOLE Potions book, there's no way he would have heard so much to fill a whole ass book. (3) Tell me a single sentence in the book that says "James Potter" and "Potions prodigy". Can't find it? Now find me one. single. quote saying "James Potter IS a Potions prodigy". Let's be for real, James and Potions don't belong in the same sentence, it sounds odd to the ears too.
We don't even know if it's romantic or not, but for all I know it's grieving not obsession.
Snape was obsessed, look at his patronus!
For the series, dismantle the Snaters with facts:
![Snape Was Obsessed, Look At His Patronus!](https://64.media.tumblr.com/63652b365ab726141d71c8147438a57a/31a6e6d75bb129ea-1a/s500x750/32b1fa4b5314962d8b6a92f41761ba6ee6d3541f.png)
The author herself responded to a fan's question by saying that the patronus only changes if the love it's eternal. I don't think the term obsession is written anywhere.
You can find the tweet here
"Forced to become a death eater" He had a shrine and posters of Voldemort in canon tf you mean🤨 He only betrayed Voldemort after he hurt his poor elf, or else he would've worshipped him like a God😓✋🏻
"you can't defend regulus and not defend snape"
actually, yes, i can. watch me.
snape was a child abuser, who regularly insulted, embarrassed and physically injured his students on a daily basis. he only was part of the order bc he had an unhealthy obsession with his childhood bestfriend, who he called a slur on several occasions. who he, on top of trying to kill her husband, didn't care about her child or family until her life was in danger. he only became "good" when the woman who had rejected him several times might have been injured. he was such a terrible teacher and human being, that one of his student's BIGGEST FEAR was him. he was racist and a blood supremecist, even though he was a half a blood himself. he was not "morally gray", he was a horrible person.
regulus black was forced to become a death eater by his family, and in the end, betrayed voldemort and gave up his life to try to end the war. he loved his house elf, and did everything to make sure kreacher made it out alive. he was not an abuser, he was the abused.
so, yes, i can defend regulus and not defend snape.
This headcanon doesn't make me only feel worse about James but also scared...😨
"James found a way to get past the spell in the girls' dorm" headcanon
Yes, yet another crazy headcanon I had come across in my early HP years and this one not only is ridiculous but it's also creepy. Why would you want your favourite character to bypass a security applied to girls to (I'm guessing) prevent agression/r@pe? It's creepy because why would he exactly do that? What's the point? It would make him even more hateable if it was canon, the Marauders map is creepy enough I do not need more reason to hate bro. "Snape is so creepy for [insert the most random reason possible]", bro have you seen what you did to your own character?
