An oldish sketch of the shadow knights (pre Laurence departure) I feel like Laurence is a more scene/fey style of alt compared to the others darker athstetics, though Sasha is DEFINITELY a pastel goth leaning into more lavenders and greys with Zenix being emo and Gene being punk/grunge
…sub culture is my special interest so I have VERY Im depth headcannons about this stuff XD

-Travis’s natural eye color IS green but it’s more of a Viridian green like Enki
-All the shadow knights are dating
-Terry and Derek were actually pretty great friends considering both of their situations are very similar

Mystreet musical Instruments and dance headcanons!
Travis: Piano, he can do many dances but the main ones he does are hip-hop and ballet
Aphmau: Bass, because I think that’s funny, and she can’t dance
Garroth: Violin, he can ballroom dance but that’s it
Zane: Clarinet, ballroom dance
Vylad: Ocarina, he’s amazing at every dance he does, but mostly ballroom dance
Katelyn: She doesn’t play an instrument but she can dance, she does ballet
Dante: Saxophone because that’s something he would do, and he can only do hip-hop dances that he learns from Travis
Gene: He can play the guitar and he can dance amazing, he does hip-hop classes with his mom which is canon so yeah
Laurence: Flute, I don’t something about him, oh and the trumpet! He can dance very well! Also hip-hop
Zenix: He plays the drums and The only dancers he knows is the ones he’s seen Gene do
Lucinda: Viola, Saxophone, and the harp and she can do many dances
Nana: Piccolo, and she can dance, there is no specific type of dance that she does it’s just that she can dance

He’s around 6’3
He is Bisexual.
He didn’t go to college at first, he worked in lots of stores, like hot topic, as we see. Around mystreet, he went in Architecture and graduated!
When his hair is long he has a wolf-cut, if he cuts it, it’s just wavy messy short hair, most times he styles it in a curtain type of way.
His clothing mainly consists of grunge-casual clothing, he feels more comfortable in a tank top.
He can play the electric guitar, he taught Dante how to play too, Gene is self taught.
Gene has tongue, ears, chin, eye brow, nose, lip, and forehead piercings, and he thinks about getting even more. 💀
Gene loves horror novels, he got into them around highschool, Sasha told him he never could finish a book, and Gene took it as a challenge, he finished a horror novel, and enjoyed it, thus causing the start of his love for them.
Gene is really into history hence why he named the gang “shadow knights” in the first place, The gang shadow knights got their name from the warrior Shadow knights that used to exist, they were also known to be able to swim in lava and handle extreme measures of heat.
Gene can cook very well, his mom taught him how to cook, he’s not as good as Laurence but still great.
Gene is non verbal.
Gene can speak sign language, he learned it for one of his friends.
Gene can dance very well, he also can dance traditionally, he took dancing classes with his mother.
Gene can play basketball, he’s really good at it.
He has the most tattoos out of everyone, he finds almost any excuse to get more, he has tattoos that signify his loved ones, and even got some matching ones with Zenix, Sasha, Dante and so on..
He also likes experimenting with wearing eyeshadow.
Gene has poor eyesight he needs glasses but refuses to actually buy nor wear them.
Has a problem with smoking too much, he’s trying his hardest to get better though </3
Gene actually begs Dante to not cut his hair and keep it long because of a running joke in their family, and that joke to Gene is the funniest thing in the world, he finds the stupidest things funny.
Gene has snake tattoos and spider bite tattoos, Gene’s snake tattoo is around his neck-shoulders as if there was an actual snake there.
If Gene is a little hard on you, or gives you tough love, it’s cause he deeply cares for you.
He has a high pain tolerance.
Gene heavily disliked garroth back in high school, He felt like garroth kept taking away every thing good he had, Gene and Laurence were a thing back when Laurence was in the shadow knights but then they broke up and that caused Laurence to leave the group, and shortly after Laurence got with Garroth, he was also jealous of garroth’s “good” relationship with his father and how he gets to look like his father and still love himself afterwards.
Gene was NOT a good influence on Dante back in highschool, kinda turned him into a jerk for a while, they made fun of people together.
Gene is a cat person.
The first song Gene learned how to play on guitar was Lucky You by Deftones, Deftones is his favourite band.
Gene would bully Dante but would crush anyone else’s skull if they did it too, in his logic, only he can do it.
I like the idea of Gene having a sketch book but barley ever colouring his sketches.
takes pride in being a few mili meters taller than Dante even though they look exactly the same height
He’s very overprotective over his close ones, mostly Sasha, Zenix, Laurence, his family, he sees the shadow knights as family too, obviously with his family, he holds them very close to him, he’s protective of Dante, because back when he was a kid he felt like he couldn’t protect his mom from his father, so instead he settled on trying to protect his younger brother.
Kinda messed around with Jeffory back in senior year.
He does not like working out in the gym, he does it in his home, or somewhere he thinks is comfortable, he’s also built well, he has great shoulders.
His music taste consists of sad blues, rock-metal, or Spanish songs he fell in love with.
