Os Exús dão passes para proteger e orientar quem os procuram, mas esses seres de Luz que fazem essa limpeza espiritual, são Guias Exús. Eles possuem nomes característicos e muito conhecidos como: Exú Caveira, Exú Tiriri, Exú Marabô, Exú do Lodo, Zé Pilintra (alguns espíritos desta linha se apresentam como Malandros, outros como Exús)
