Backrooms Pantheon Art Collection :D
When the Heavens Fragmented
This trio is driving me so insane, I had to draw them. Also don’t ask me why Claudius looks like that, I heard ribbons and he is now a knight made of red ribbons.
I used three different types of paint for this piece because I forgot I had gauche.

The Game Master and her Puppets
Felt like drawing the silliest girl in the world as well as a few others, my oc is the human character in this one!

Pillar Scribe & Terminus ( body horror + eye contact )
Wanted to draw art of other Backrooms Pantheon Characters from articles I’ve recently read.

Fairy Tail's Spriggan 12 named by me

(Going left to right, from bottom to top)
•First we got sand dude with the Einstein hair. Only named Einstein bc of the hair, is not very smert
•Next up is Zeref is my Senpai, who looks like an emo version of Lyon with a ponytail
•And the Big Kahuna, Zeref himself. Looking regal and adorable as fuck (I know he's a mass murderer but he has such a baby face)
•Our newest female antagonist with a crush on Lucy, my grumpy green sprout
•Then the thirsty Lesbian that messes with time so she can cut other girls' clothes off
•Mister only there for back from the dead character angst
•Dramatic dragon slayer that dies before he can do anything other than strike poses and make dramatic hand guestures
•Robot Mechanic who makes zero sense and needs to take a chill pill.
•Big foreheaded assassin who won't look at Lucy's exposed boobs (the only one who hasn't tbh)
•Red haired woman who is definetly not Erza's mother
•Villain that is apparently not Keys from tartaros but is exactly like him
•Old man that is somehow Zervis' love child
•And my personal favorite, blond orgasm jesus

Fun fact :
Augustus could probably, if we're technical about it, be considered to have shape shifting abilities. However, by the fact that he choose to retain his past human appearance when trying to appear non threatening, i chose to not apply this term to him.
One should see his human form as a cloth, a mere costume where he keeps himself and his entirety.
This is one of the reasons why, when he "lets go", one could see his "skin" open, very much like if it was merely paper, allowed to be teared apart in a single movement.
@ Augustus : You've obviously been alive for quite a while now, with all the experiences that come along. Is there anything you still desire or wish for now?

pours a cup of tea to the visitor
"One can agree, that by living this long, I could end up not wishing for anything anymore. And it is true that I am lucky enough to have achieved almost everything I ever wished for.
I have seen the wonders of life, death, existence and the lack of it. I have birthed and ended the lives of millions. I have seen an unending circle of darkness and hope. The continuity of what it means to be aware of one's mortality.
Such a shame sometimes I think, that i will never be granted that gift.
Being allowed to simply… stop existing. Our flesh decaying, our minds having stopped any semblance of presence."
Augustus sigh longingly
"Sometimes, not a lot but, sometimes i find myself wishing i could die."

“likening all mankind to a single body, he went on to compare the collective experience of mankind to the mind of that body; and thence rather neatly (though obviously) he spoke of the library which he was establishing in Rome as if it were the most important quality of the mind, memory”
Williams, John. “Augustus.” 1972. The New York Review of Books, 2014.
Octavian Caesar was such an interesting guy because his rule was so divisive and he was a tyrant who convinced his people that he was this amazing king who did them good, which was why they gave him the name Augustus (who knoes if he floated the idea out to them, though) though he reportedly didn't call himself that
this guy was such a showman and a stickler for appearing really kind and nice and he was good at it, too
i don't think he was great, he's just interesting
what would i do if i met him? i'd ask him if he chose his hairstyle as a pr technique to appear more approachable as an emperor because BOY is it bad, it's "i just kept clipping with the scissors" bad

also this mans [Octavian Caesar] was just incredibly dramatic
Google references these quotes when you look him up:

[Image Description: Google search result of Augustus Caesar, a former Roman Emperor, and under the quotes tab reads, "I found Rome a city of bricks and left it a city of marble," "Young men, hear an old man to whom old men harkened to when he was young," and "Quintilius Varus, give me back my legions!"]
likely, these were written by poets and not entirely what he actually said. however they left out my favorite one which is supposedly his last phrase, "Have I played the part well? Then applaud as I exit."
which, for a social strategist likw him, is just metal and melodramatic because it really shows how much of his life was just an act and how he lived and breathed it
also clearly the poet that wrote it didn't think he was sincere but did think he was cool which i think is just great
He looks like he has googly eyes XD

Portraits of Augustus and Livia from Neuilly-le-Réal, France
This must be the oldest-looking Augustus I've ever seen. He has wrinkles! If you squint he could be downright forty-ish. What happened here. Where is the youthful not a day over thirty Augustus?
someone with better art skills pleasepleaseplease make a Chonny Jash Mind Electric trilogy animatic with Norris, Chester, and Augustus please and thank you
