So, watching Sherlock for the millionth time, and still have a question about the pool scene.
What PLATONIC reason did they have for John to say, 'I'm glad nobody saw' Saw what, John? Sherlock saving you from being blown up and removing a literal bomb off of you?
No, of course not. He instead, says , 'you ripping my clothes off in a darkened swimming pool.' Really? John, you deprived buffalo. The implications are the first thing you think about? You almost get blown up and shot by snipers, and the first thing that comes to your head is Sherlock Holmes taking your clothes off. People seeing and thinking you're possibly gay for Sherlock. Maybe the only person worried about being seen as gay for Sherlock, is you. Yes, John. That's right. You're in denial. You know it's true, and that's why you're so funny about being seen in any situation that might suggest it. (Him also saying, 'now people might really talk!' after he has to hold hands with Sherlock. - Whilst they're running from the police, for crimes that could get them years in jail.)
John Watson has been in serious denial for four seasons, much to the dismay of Sherlock. I just adore the silly little doctor.
