Before the coffee gets cold

(I hate the 30 # limit with a passion :p anywho, I'm omw to go back to reading from a slump that lasted most of my Bachelors so time to read all I can, for the sake of reading, and for pleasure, before entering Masters. I love literature but GODDAMMIT I became a book collector. Time to go back to book reading, actually READING a book and not an ao3 fanfic cause ofc I am easily distracted by hannigram 😩 and anything on YouTube. YES, I did go through all 10 stages of grief with ao3 being down. Yes, I know there are only five :))) Doesn't stop a girl from being completely insane 🙂 And yes, I have revived the flow of the frozen blood in this blog cause one gotta do silly things every now and then on our beloved hellsite UwU)

oof, I made 4 stories and might take awhile so yep :> Update: 5
I PROMISE TO UPDATE BUT MY LAZY SELF CAN'T FINISHED THE PENDING STORIES PLUS SCHOOL KDNFJDNJJNDFNJDNF
PLUS I HAVE AN IDEA AGAIN AND EVEN WHEN I WANT TO WRITE IT, I KNOW I WON'T FINISHED IT AND LET IT STAY UNFINISHED ðŸ˜
I might write historical fiction since I've been too obsessed with Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral. A history movie about Gregorio Hilario del Pilar y Sempio, a Filipino general of the Philippine Revolutionary Army during the Philippine–American War. -v- So yeah, I'll go back inactive again to finished my stories...I hope.
We'll meet again, right?
SatoSugu x Before The Coffee Gets Cold AU
"If you could go back in time, who would you want to meet?"
December 24, 20**
Satoru entered a familiar underground coffee shop. The sole reason he was too familiar was with the fact that this was always where to visit when they went on dates and now, he would visit it alone every month, on the 24th. To be precise, that date had always been a day where things in his life would happen that he'd never forget. The day they started dating, their anniversaries, and his death. A long time worker from the coffee shop notices his familiar presence, before nodding as a greeting and making him his coffee. Already knew what he wanted as the latter sits at a specific seat. Soon enough the worker serves him his coffee, reminding him again.
"You already know the rules, Satoru-san. You should finish your coffee before it gets cold, or suffer the consequences. Do not leave your seat no matter what, and anything you did in the past won't change the present."
"I know." He replied bluntly.
Frowning as he heard the last sentence. Again and again that would make his heart twist in pain, no matter how many times it would be said. He took a sip of his warm coffee as his surroundings shifted into what seemed like a memory from his past; the same coffee shop but he was there, with a sad, beautiful smile.
"Satoru.."
He pursed his lips as he heard a familiar voice that he missed, his heart aching more with the longing pain for his voice, his presence. The monk/bun-haired man continued, concluding that the white-haired male would not speak first.
"You're back again. How are you? The higher ups still depend on you?"
"I'm fine and they’re still the same as before." He responded, sipping his coffee once more.
He hummed, asking again.
"I see, has anything interesting happened?"
"Yeah, something has happened. One of Megumi's missions has had few problems but it's been settled, just a boy who ate one of the special grade cursed objects and became the vessel. Specifically, the finger."
He raised his brows, amused at the incident before chuckling slightly and ceasing, the shop enveloping in quiet again with the occasional sound of sipping coffee, courtesy of the white haired man before it clinked against the coffee plate as he settled it down, only a quarter of coffee left. Suddenly, they spoke at the same time, addressing each other's names, one with sadness, the other with pity, but both were coated with the longing feeling of each other.
"Suguru..."
"Satoru..."
They paused, until Satoru continued. His voice whispered, as if a quiet question for this sole man only.
"We'll meet again, right..?"
He pursed his lips as he heard the question, already knowing it and the only response he replied repeatedly..
"We'll see."
The white haired male got quiet before he spoke.
"Welp, I'll see you again, yeah?"
He nodded, looking at the male in silence. He already knows he died from how the latter visits him on the 24th in every month. He could also see through him despite the blindfold covering the latter’s eyes on how exhausted and broken despite his cheerful facade.
"Yeah,...finish your drink now before it gets cold or else you'll get stuck here."
"Yeah, yeah, I know." I would rather be stuck with you.
The latter smiled slightly at the typical response that made him remember their teenage days, chuckling quietly. As soon as Satoru finished drinking his cup of coffee, they waved at each other's goodbyes as the white haired man slowly returned to the present, watching how the latter slowly vanished with a small smile on his face as he waved.
As it completely vanished, Satoru was left with an empty cup and an empty heart. Bitterly murmuring his name, already longing for the latter and only wanted things to go back to how they had been, if only he had followed him.
"Suguru..."
If only Satoru knew, Suguru also longs for him. "Satoru.."
