nonchalantly leaning against a wall in anticipation of your appearance, shidou hums a upbeat tune whilst tapping his fingers against his legs in rhythm. he cringes as frigid waves of cold wash over him, and he wonders where you are.

his question is soon answered as you tap his shoulder, and he hastily turns out to face you.

“who are you waiting for?” you ask, scrutinising his strangely neat and orderly clothing.

“u-uh, just, ah, sae.”

shidou’s always been terrible at lying, and it’s even more evident right now. you shrug it off - maybe he’s just finally at a turning point in life when he pulls people.

“anyways, do you want to head to the cafe after this? i hear there’s a new really good cake.”

shidou blinks in confusion, warmth spreading along his face. there is no way you just asked him to go out on a date.

grinning at the pinkness of his face, you lean against his arm, much to his embarrassment. “did you think it was a date?”

shidou swallows, but you continue.

“we can make it one.”

rip off the roof and stay in bed!
