Spring break is here and I finally had time to draw again, so here's Ben, Gwen, and Kevin from Alien Force.

Some proportions might be weird, and the hands look a bit off, but that's because my art program isn't the best and I have very few tools to resize certain aspects with, but I'm proud of what I managed to do.

Ben not 10

I hope you guys liked my previeious post about Ben not used 10 aliens, here is another bounch of them. But before we start, I must confess; I'm gona cheat in the end, so I brought there one more, to be fair

Mutants and Reboot not count

I gona count aliens what's in the show, but we never saw Ben transmorms into them onsceen

Loophole; I gona count aliens what Ben couldn't use for some reason

So, let's counting

0. Slimebiot

These creatures are here from the begining of the time and spreadin, mixing and creating DNA across the whole universe (technically, they are God in Ben prime's reality)

They are feeding on any kind of DNA, and alo poses the power to shapesifting themeselfes into that creature's bodyparts

Also, attached to a DNA countainment (like the Nemetrix/ Omnitrix/ Ultimatrix/Omnimatrix) they can use as many samples as they want, even form tools with the given species' power

But with this incedible power come some great..... weakneses; because they are only single-cell, symbiosic life forms, they need a host or they could die in starving. And they can be separated and contained with the right tools. Also, they can't teleport without host, 'cause it would kill them

1. Anodite

It's a tricky one; because of Anodites lack of DNA, the Omnitrix can't scan them. However, Ben could use the Omnitrix to manipulates his own bio system, sets free his Anodite heritage and store in the watch, as a transformation (remember, not all Omnitrix creatures are 100% alien......Nanomech......)

Anodites poses the power to control life-energy (called Mana) and use it various ways; weapon manifestion, fly, teleport, shapesifting (only seen turn into humanoid form) and magic

However, this power has his own weakneses; Mana can't be used on everything, such as ectonorites, geocehelone aerios, robots or androids. Also, this species don't immunite to other magic users spells

In fandom, Ben already has Anodite form, called Anodman/ Man-a attack/Manodite

It's unkown if Ben ever could use his natural/Omnitrix given Anodite heritage, he would be purple or green

2. Psyphon's species

Despite of being the show's main villain's sidekick, we don't know this alien species' name. The only knowen one (Psyphon) cames from Murray (Vilgaxia) with Villgax

However, he poses a serious power arsenal; he is able to fly, can create energy beams and walls, has laser eyes and stronger than Ultimate Spidermonkey. Also, he showed great intellect

With these powers, he resemble to C-K civilians, so, he could be a mutant one, but (because of his whole appearance) I don't think so

3. Uxorite

This species is strongly resemble to lizard peaple from classical alien mythologi. They even have long toung and they laye eggs, but unlike cold bloodeds, they aren't bothered by cold enviroment.

They have powerful telekinetic abilityes what allows to them to fly and moveing other being or object, even instable material, like water. Also, they can grab things with their tail and tentacles

They agile and fast, but compare to their size they are physicaly weak and vulnerable

This species (or at least Xylen) is smart enought to be accepted as assistant by Azmusth when he created the Omnitrix, and Azmusth trusted her enought to gave it to her to deliver

In fandom Ben already has this transformation, called Neuro Lizard

4. Detrovite

One of the strongest and largest alien species in the show, wich one members are skilled fightres and talented miners in one

They posess some surpise-powers, like ability to breat underwater, space survivability, they are resistant to both hot or colder enviroment and they can regenerate from serious dammages (repleacing their missing body parts with proteic enchatments)

They are not very clever, but also not agressive species. Also, they honor the great champions and good sportmanship

5. Protost

Theis alien only apeared an took active role in the very first Ben 10 movei "Ben 10; Secret of the Omnitrix" , but it is still a mentionable one

This alien species resemble to the Polymorph with their shapesifting powers and slime like body, but unlike them, they are able to move without an Anti-graviti projector, but seemingly they are more limited and can't generate their body-mass (except while regenerating). However, they use some kind of containment armor to change place, but it's more a body enchantment than a nesecary tool

Their three eyes and shapesifting ability make them an extremly good pilots, 'cause they can focus on multiple thing and can control more machines at once

6. Levodan

Who don't remember for one of the cutest alien in the show; the Tiffin. He is a sweet alien and not just in the term of cutenes. This species' taste (at least as kid) so delicious the icecream makers makes a Tiffin-tast flavoured one (offically not from Tiffin......)

This species looks very peaceful but they actually an agressive one. Of course, not all of them and not all the time, they inteligent enought to make compromises with their enemies

They look weak, but don't let fool yourself; they are skilled in hand-to-hand combat (like Apoplexians) have enchanted flexibility and they are capable of use some short of electro-magnetic power, witch allows them to levitate and manipulate electronic devices

7. Ssspeace'sss Ssserpentsss

We can't be sssure Ssserpent wasss an alien or what, but becaussse sssome of hisss powersss, it doesssn't fit to be a mutant, ssso I think he isss an alien.

It never wass comfirm, but sssomewhere in fandom isss a theory he isss a ssspecisss of Snakepit, one off the mentioned but never ssshowen aliensss

Over hisss average sssnake powersss like enchanted flexibility/ agility/ reflex/ ssstrenght, unhingible jaw or acid ssspit, he posssesss a ssspecial one: mana immunity

He isss inteligent, clever and usssually hasss a good plan, but not Ben'sss mossst fearsssom enemi

8. / 9. Acrosians, Vreedle family

These two species not really showes any super power over enchanted strengh and space survivability

Ma Vreedle posess an extra pair of eyes in back of her head, it's unkown the males have too or not

Because acrosians are only heads with armor, possibly they are an inteligent species. We can't say the same thing about Vreedles, but they are good technicans, so they have the wist of themeself

Because we never saw other acrosian than Fistina, we can't know how would Ben looks like.

Ben actually have a Decagon Vreedle named transformation, but he would be freak out if he know about it

Vreedles are not a species but more a family, because Ma and Pa were breed in a lab

10. Chronian

I said I gona cheat here, cause Ben already transformed into this form but let me explain;

Eon is the only one movie special transformation, which one never was and never will be used

"Ben 10; Race against time" is playing in an alternative timeline, so Ben Prime never used this transformation

Because Chronians had closly omnipotent powers, Eon forced Ben to turn into this form, wich one was actually Eon himself, not Ben's alien

However Ben has the option to scan another Chronians and has his own form. In fandom this form sometimes called simply Eon, sometimes called Obliv-Eon (I personally prefer this one)

This transformation would be one of the most powerful one of Ben's, because Chronians are able to travel in time and space, can shoot energy or time beams from their hands, have a limited control over moleculas and technology and also posess enchanted strengh and durability

However, they can't use their powers limitles, because every time they use it, their body becames older and weaker

Benus:

We could belive the levodans are whiped crem like humanoid specis, but actually we never saw more than their head and arms in part, cause their long, bluish coat

The uxorites' eyes glow pink when they use their telekinetic abilityes. It never saw comfirmed, but it could be a kind of Mana using....

I want to list Osmosians as well, but while I make search, I found the fact; Osmosians are mutants/superior humans, not aliens, and their home planet - Osmos V. - never existed

"Uxite" means "wife" in latin, a reference to Xylene x Max relationship

It's just funny, but both of Max's love intesests were telekinetic powered aliens

"Xylene" is actually a chemical with three isomer, so our alien's three eyes could be a reference for that. Also a funny thing; the chemical is extremly flamable, and Ben used Heatblast against Xylen

I don't showed a pictures of Hex and Charmchaster directly, because thye aren't anoditeds. They just humans, who can use magic

Cannon-bolt

So, I realised one thing: the seria treat Cannonbolt as Hell. And why? Let me explain;

First, he is the 11th alien who was ever used

Secound, you hardly found any other transformation who appeared in every form in all the frendchiles. But literally:

The classic seria (he even replaced Ghostfreak in the intro)

Also as Ben 10.000's

Alien force

He was used in the crossover "Heroes United"

Got an Ultimate form

Appeared in Omniverse (even in flashbacks)

Rolleway (Ben 23) and Gwenonbolt (Gwen 10, just fun name, not offical)

He also an useable alien in the Reboot

He was Omni-enchanted

Got an Omi-kix

Also, there is Wreckingbolt

Interesting fact 1: The original designe of him was totaly different

Interesting fact 2: he was in the original ten, but the creatores replaced him with Diamondhead

Also, there was a pun about this; in the Reboot S1 E1/ Waterfilter, Ben was about to choose an alien for his Niagara waterfall - jump. While he was selecting, he saied the next; "Diamondhead; no, Cannonbolt; yes"

In the Reboot, Ben used Cannonbolt as the first transformation, such as Kevin, who used Wreckingbolt

Maybe it's just my personal oppinion, but he can thank his popularity to the panda-like appearance

But all together, I like this rolly-polly warrior and glad we can see him in various ways, weaponized and armored. So, let's rock and roll 😎

Gwen’s !!!

okay so in this au/continuation Gwen is a sorceress not an alien. The way magic works is that every magic user has a magical aura and each aura is a different colour. Auras are passed down from one person to another regardless of whether they’re related or not. Gwen ben and sunny were all supposed to get magic from grandma Verodona but the omnitrix prevented bens magic from manifesting leaving the aura stunted. Every magic user also has a speciality in the magical field for Gwen its energy/mana manipulation which is why lux thought she was an anodite while charmcasters specialty is reanimation and while someone like sunny can also learn reanimation because her aura is a deep purple it will never be as powerful as when charmcaster does it because your specialty is your most powerful magic. the auras also determine the types of magic you can learn and use depending on hue for example purpler hues can learn things more associated with witchcraft and bluer and greener hues are capable of weather magic etc. the reason Gwen is more powerful than the average magic user is actually because she has 2 auras( also why her magic has two different colours) the reason for this is because in change of face a part of charmcasters aura was left inside of Gwen but nothing from Gwen was left in charmcaster because Gwen’s aura was still manifesting at the time unlike charmcaster who’s manifestion stage is complete.

meet scarlet Valentina Martinez an oc for my au

scarlet lives with her grandmother/abuela who is very set in tradition and as a result leaves scarlet unable to be herself at home. Her grandmother is a good person and she has good intentions but she doesn’t realize that scarlet does care about tradition she just wishes to express it differently. Her grandmother is a former plumber(and a good one at that) and scarlets mother died during her own plumber career on a training mission gone wrong. She’s a cool girl with a usually chill attitude except in competition where she has an extremely competitive and fiery attitude which can serve as an advantage or disadvantage depending on the situation. She loves soccer and is the captain of the girls soccer team and their best player. She’s really good friends with Gwen and meets the rest of the group through her. She has super human athleticism meaning she has the strength of a tetramand and is faster and more agile than the regular person. The reason for her and coopers abilities is because a multitude of the plumbers during max’s time in the organization one of the power crew used to power the headquarter and academy had a malfunction and exploded the explosion caused caused genetic mutations and left many of the plumbers off springs with strange abilities. Scarlets grandmother has a device made by azmuth himself to prevent scarlet from using her ability as unlike copper it’s not something she can control as its always present so she can’t use her ability however this is also a disadvantage as it also prevents her from being able to hone her skills and better her abilities.

Eventually yeah ( also cause the trix user is still Ben, in my au I’m changing around concepts like albedos origin and things like that and adding my own spin to the Ben 10 world and it’s lore). Seeing as in my au Ben has big chill at a much younger age and the junior training program has a LOT of umm interesting info on different species. I can just imagine younger Ben learning about the necrofriggian reproduction system he’ll go absolutely crazy and have a major over reaction about how the alien dna is in the omnitrix and what if he ends up ya know. Gwen will probably tell him he’s overreacting and that it most likely won’t happen and then a couple years later be met with a very angy ben with about 16 babies lol.

fr the moment he turns back into his human form I swear he’d open his mouth and scream for like an entire minute( a very high pitched and embarrassing scream might I add(

Also side note my Ben doesn’t grow up to be the Ben in omniverse and af/uaf so he handles things a lot differently

Well, the changes done here are all explained in my AU version of him but to cut it brief/ a bit spoiler-free:

I imagine that he got to Gwen's place to pick her up with his usual hairstyle and she helped him out with his hair. So he'd look all stylish / be able to not have his hair into his eyes.

Also, so she could kiss his forehead easier heh,

As you can see, his ears and features in general are sharper. Those are choices done in order to give him individuality from the Tennysons' general appearances from canon. Also because I find them cool !

(I'm still working on the Gwen re-imagining kwhajw).

Also other reasons which are related to my re-imagining of osmosians' features in general.

I believe that at first, he'd be unsure over the hairstyle change because his ears would be even more noticeable.

I see Gwen reassuring him that his ears are fine and that he shouldn't be ashamed of what he is (he's still half alien in the AU). In the end, he sees that he slays the hairstyle and keeps it for the night

Those 2 locks of hair which remained on his forehead are just- shorter strands from the front of his hairline which didn't stick right at the back.

Also, he's hiding something underneath his hair.

Gwen takes notice of that but won't push that on him that night. He'll probably talk about it when he's ready

i'm back with another kev redraw!! i tried to reach a more realistic style. but also a smugness / sharpness

i'm still trying to figure his appearance/style i should apply to him (reference i used below/my twitter's pfp)

Thank you for bringing this up OP, it got me inspired to share my opinions over the topic too. Hope it doesn't come off as me repeating your points, this is all in good intentions !!

Hope this will be an interesting read too-

So

Imo, the car represents a lot of things

Such as Kevin being integrated legally back into human society to some degree. It implies that he has a driver's license & legal paperwork done for the car itself

For example, the speeding tickets he already has and got at the begining of AF, he must have handed the policemen something to get so many to begin with

Or when he's avoiding getting them all together later on. It shows his growth/being more responsible

That driver's license also offered a bunch of opportunities from the series' first episodes (aside from the marketing standpoint)

Such as the trio being able to travel pretty much anywhere/hang out without needing an adult around / having to be seen by the general public (ex: them going on missions, being able to stand guard, going to Mr Smoothy, etc.)

When Kevin is kidnapped by the Plumber's Helpers, we very well see how Ben and Gwen deal with the situation

Kevin even at one point jokes about the fact that they hung out with him at first just because he could drive. And Ben- agrees

His usefulness in the team even feels threatened at one point after he loses his powers.

Kevin: Great. So now I'm just a chauffeur? What happens when you two finally get your licenses?

Another add on since I've made this post !!

This kind of behavior is also featured in UA when he doesn't get to be the driver for a change.

Kevin: I like it better when I drive.

Driving the team seems to be something very personal to him. He probably sees it as one of main contributes to the team in a way.

Moving on

The car shows/hints at Kevin's social life, excluding the Tennysons. It shows that he actually has "connections"

There's that one time it's referenced that he goes drag racing around Los Soledad's general area with other people.

He's known for this attitude at this point. There's also the party he threw, referenced in the same episode

He's known in town as the "bad boy", despite the fact that he probably hadn't been there for a long period of time. For most- he probably showed up out of nowhere one day.

And so, probably is respected but mostly feared by the ones who've heard of him.

Techadon-Corrupted!Cash: And no one can stop me, not even your friend Kevin-! That's right - I kicked Kevin Levin's butt !

Cash & JT even try to show their social strenght over the community by messing up with Kevin's car. The car is known/recognized by people

The vehicle helps strengthen this image/persona for Kevin. He also cares in a way about appearances than it seems

Moving on again

Then there's Kevin's part time job at Ed's garage. Again, it shows that Kevin has a source of income / some stability

Working with vehicles is one of his favorite ways he interacts with the world. And that's because he's good at it.

Considering his lack of formal education, he tries to cover up for his lack of knowledge with his skills

Example being how he preffered working on the Rustbucket 3 than going on a mission in "Catching a Falling Star"

To me, it always seemed like a way to represent his self worth. For example, how many coats of paint he puts on the car, how many upgrades he's given it, how many upgrades HE STILL WANTS to give it, etc.

This need to improve his vehicle reminds me of Kevin's general arc as a character. The constant need to change and evolve in order to benefit the upcoming challenges life offers.

It makes sense for him to be someone easily adaptable to his surroundings too, considering the times he was homeless + Null Void years. He's a survivor despite the circumstances.

Even Ben acknowledges this directly and seems to - admire this trait. He even uses it to try and encourage / push his friend to do better. He knows he can do better:

Ben: You've been to the Null Void and back, I'm sure you can handle the spring formal !

It's Kevin who doesn't think so - considering his lack of normal interactions with people who present a threat to his self-esteem /those who could be higher socially. We already know he interacted with Michael since they first met

Did I change the subject slightly? Yeah-

Now getting back to the topic again

These improvements he's given to his car have saved the team on numerous ocassions

To him, these upgrades are very well justified and it shows how much he cares about the safety of himself and others. He very well feels responsible for his passengers

Also, it's probably because of pride and cockiness too. He can do so many things to his car, why not do them lol

It's a way of self expression and utility to him - he's an artist in this aspect. He's having fun while doing it, being something he does whenever he has free time.

Those examples including building Ben's car, talking about plumber vehicles, wanting to make his car submersible, etc.

This has negative sides too, being noted in canon that him sleeping in his garage can be a regular occurrence. Which Gwen discourages / tells him to improve upon.

This car is probably the first thing he'd owned since he got out of the Null Void. No one's, just - his.

His protective nature of his car is well-known and demonstrated right in the first episode

Magister Labrid: Still think I should drive.

Kevin: Nobody drivers the car but me-!

And we see it again in "Paradox", even as an old man, he was more-so worried about the state of his car than - himself. This negligence over his well-being is noteworthy

Old!Kevin while the car being aged down: No ! Not the car ! Not the CAR !!!

Old!Kevin when he sees Paradox: Can you fix my car?

Kevin, after being turned back at his present age: Alright professor, if you wouldn't mind fixing my car.

And the most noteworthy moment of Kevin's protective nature over his car is for sure in UA's "The Enemy of My Enemy"

In which he gets overly defensive when he assumes that the Ben & Gwen "stole" it. When they were in fact, trying to keep it safe

Ultimate!Kevin: And stealing my car? Big mistake.

The way he reacts to Gwen when she denies it just shows- how unstable he's getting

And how their fight ends is significant too.

He leaped after the car when he could have went after the Tennyons and try to finish what he started.

But he didn't.

He went down to catch the car and presumably put it down safely.

In a moment where his mind was a disaster

Food for thought.

And now, towards closing this

I always believed that he bought the car as a present of "welcome back" for himself. A sweet 16 present, you can say

And also, to not have too much money on him on Earth to not be suspicious / for his safety

Of course, I could very well be overly analyzing things. I'm well aware that he's also just a - himbo who's also well knowledged in physics/mechanics. He nerds over this because he can and he's good at it. And we love him for it !!

I never really enjoyed the jokes where someone's treasured possession gets destroyed in any kind of media. I'm an extremely-attached-to-specific-objects-kind of person. Again, I could be biased

1. I own his car in toy form and I love it a lot !! I may post a pic of it if anyone's curious

2. I may add another post related to this if I get more thoughts over this. I tried to sum up as much as I could.

I haven't mentioned OV in this because I haven't seen much of it. I may do a follow-up if anyone wants me to after I'd watch the episodes featuring Kevin. Feel free to lmk)

I like over-analyzing stuff so let`s talk about it

plot reasons aside, I like to think that there is more to this scene than it shows `cause

Kevin has superhuman strenght so there`s no doubt that he would have been capable of carrying that on his own. Hell, a case could be made for Ben as well if he were to transform into something

But, despite these facts, they are doing this task the ”traditional” way

Maybe Ben wanted to prove that he didn`t need the Ultimatrix in order to move that piano. Maybe Kevin was joking around with him and made Ben want to prove himself

Or maybe the watch was timed out for all we know

But

I like to interpret the scene in some way in which Kevin chose to spend some brotherly time with Ben. If this really were an issue where Kevin needed man power, he could have also called Gwen to help with her powers

But he didn`t

Of course, her absence can be interpreted in enough ways but imo, the most in-character thing I could see Kevin doing would be - just not asking for her help

And despite what he claims, I highly doubt that it just so happened that Ben was the only available person to help him out

Kevin`s circle of acquaintances is implied to be large, sure. But no one sticks in particular to offer this sort of help. Who could he even depend on outside of the Tennysons ?

That is why I think this is more-so Kevin`s way of spending time with Ben outside of the general - alien missions. This comic panel takes place in the UA era, prior to the Ultimate Kevin arc so -

whatever the reason, it`s fun to think for it. hell, it could work as a one-shot fic

oh yeah also ben owed him so no shit he wanted the favor paid off haha kevin doesn`t forget anything he does for anyone remember that one time he beat up a guy because of 8 bucks

Kinda related to the topic. Got inspired from it

I always had the impression that Kevin would be extremely dissapointed if he were to find out after the whole arc that Morgg was still alive

No, I don't think the Tennysons would let him know. He would have found out either through the Rooters or any other sketchy ways

Back to what I was saying

As in, dissapointed in himself

For not avenging his mentor when he had the chance

Even as his regular self, I still see him as full of resentment. He just has people around him to prevent him from going after Morgg again and killing him for good

Case and point, Vendetta

And even if he were to try to do that regardless and/or suceed, he'd suffer the consequences, legally speaking

I doubt he'd be able to get away with it like he did with Ragnarok

In the UltimateKevin arc, I doubt he even planned/cared what would happen to him he'd get rid of everyone who "did him wrong"

There was no concrete conclusion to what Kevin exactly wanted after all of this

He was out of his mind, he could barely think past "justified" destruction and feeding himself

I'd argue that after the end of Absolute Power Part 1, he became more-so a force of nature type of threat because of his instincts taking control

Where ever he knew it or not, Kevin was getting closer to death. Either via destroying his body and/or outside interferences
