I'm in the middle of my Dual Destinies gameplay and-
Look, I do love Blackmadhi with all my heart, believe me when I say that, but--

I began shipping Blackquill and Fulbright HARD and then it turned out Fulbright was the phantom so I was like “oh no” but then it rounded back. Like the angst qualities that the phantom brings is SO MUCH

The real travesty about Dual Destinies is how in theory Blackquill & Fulbright have a perfect ship dynamic but as the game progresses the concept gets worse and by the final case it’s a horrible idea unless you’re going with a “let’s ignore the backstory and make him the real Fulbright” approach
Apologies for the lengthy delay in responses, readers, life has been quite busy of late. I will get to the last few asks in my inbox soon.
That said, it has come to my attention we are on the tail end of a so-called blackbright week, and am curious how the lot of you see us.
As such, I must open Pandora's Box, and answer any questions any of you have about our relationship to eachother.

hey simon! what would you say is your favorite thing about bobby? he certainly has a lot of great qualities, but which do you find most endearing?

He certainly has a lot of qualities. His amazingly straightforward sense of justice, his voice that carries, possibly for miles, his willingness to drop anything to assist another....
Hm. I thought it would be easier to pick out the endearing from the annoying...
I think his perseverance would have to be the one, however. I told him repeatedly not to waste his time attempting to 'reform' me, and he never once took that advice into account. After his experience with that spy, he has maintained a sunny disposition, despite the circumstances and the long term effects... His emotions are wild, yet he never seems to let anything get him down for long..
....I seem to need a moment. Continue sending questions, pay me no mind.

((Ask and you shall receive! Though, while he's never shared anything that proves romantic intent, there have been several posts lately that certainly point to something being wrong...they may be useful to building your case, as we've already seen, the man will deny deny deny initially.
Besides being flatmates, and demonstrating a level of trust that runs deep, Bobby is the only officer Simon will work with, unless there are forces physically preventing it, such as Bobby needing to recluse himself, or becoming ill. if he does need to work with another detective, make no mistake, he'll be difficult about it.
Besides this, the two attend events together, Thanksgiving was at Bobby's Nana's after all, as was Christmas.

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately, and...perhaps I have not been entirely honest with Fulbright about how I feel.
I did not believe I was ready for a relationship, I still do not, but.....
It is dishonest to claim there is no feeling there.
Surely it is too late, however. Even if Fulbright has ever felt the same for me, he is with his man even now. I can not confront him with these feelings, he has them for another. Besides, I....do not know that I am good for others.
What am I to do?
