I'm back! The doctors figured out what was happening, and are currently treating me. I feel so much better and should be feeling better than normal within a few weeks!

The world had gone to shit, that much was obvious. People coming back from the dead and eating the living, turning them with a simple bite or scratch. Roaming the lands, looking for their next victim.
No one knew how it started, and at this point, it’s hard to tell if anyone really cared. All that was on everyone’s mind was to survive.
Survive.
That’s exactly what Skyler had done. She was good at surviving, avoiding the dead. She didn’t have as much luck with the living, quite literally running into a kid while on a supply run.
Maybe things would be different if she had been able to turn away, ignore the young man’s pleas to help him.
Maybe things wouldn’t have turned out this way if she didn’t take him back to his group.
Maybe she would survive longer if she didn’t listen to her heart.
