semi eita: he’s boujee so he takes u stargazing. except he’s not boujee, he just wanted to take you on a long drive so he could give u the aux. he’s judging your taste in music. don’t expect a second date if u don’t live up to his standards. the stargazing itself could go really well but if u play one bad song on the way to/from, he’s ghosting u.

as he placed the booklet back down, you picked your carver back up and continued cutting your design. you decided on a small and simple dinosaur to surprise tsuki. there was a comforting silence until you heard, “what happened to poking holes as your guide, genius?”

he playfully nudged towards you and tried to peek at your pumpkin. not wanting him to see the design, you poked back at his chest, “well i happen to be an expert at carving pumpkins.”

your nose was lifted in the air, towards him, and your eyes were closed in confidence. truth was, maybe you weren’t the best at carving pumpkins (definitely not an expert) but that info wasn’t important, “we’ll see about that..”

opening your eyes back up, you saw your boyfriend smirk as he returned to his pumpkin, “what’s that supposed to mean?” you shot back.

he laughed, “oh nothing. why are you getting so anxious, expert?”

there was a smile on his face this time. you and kei’s relationship had always been like this and to be quite honest, you wouldn’t have it any other way. the four-eyed, lanky, blonde, who first teased you years ago when you first met, still teased you to this day.

out of adoration.

“no reason! i think you’re the anxious one!” one of your hands secured your giant pumpkin down as the other continued carving.

a chuckle left kei’s mouth as he picked up the other carver, “we’ll see about that, love”

wanting to finish much quicker than him, you started rushing through your carve. how did it look so easy for him? the knife hadn’t budged once since he started carving!

because you were so focused and concentrating so much on finishing, you hadn’t noticed the pair of dark, but loving, eyes on you. kei had smiled to himself, finding it cute how much you wanted to impress him with your “skills” he was so lucky to have you. you were the only person he could feel this comfortable and vulnerable with.

after noticing his gaze, your cheeks felt hot and your carving knife accidentally cut a bit too far, messing up your design.

the flustered look on your face soon turned into a pouty one, your cheek was then poked at. “aww. what happened, smarty pants?”

clearly frustrated, you turned your pumpkin so that your boyfriend could take a look, “....it was supposed to be a dinosaur.”

barely hearing you over your pouty mumble, he smiled to himself. nothing was said but then his pumpkin was spun around to meet your eyes.

it was your first initial + his and a very small heart (honestly, it probably wasn’t even noticeable from a few feet away)

the disappointed look on your face blossomed into an adorable one, the one where your eyes lit up, the one that kei strived to make happen everyday.

after placing a fake tealight in your and kei’s pumpkin and setting it outside, the two of you changed into warm clothes and were laying together. your body was positioned on top of your boyfriend’s and your eyes were closed in comfort. he softly moved some hair out of your face, “you know.. that wasn’t that bad i guess”

your lips turned into a small curve and you hummed back in response, meaning an “oh really?”

his palm was now resting on your warm cheek, “yeah. i haven’t done that since i was a kid.”

Physical affection is not something that comes easy with Sakusa, you have to work for it and catch him in just the right mood to get what you want. 

You love him more than anything, but he’s never been an overly romantic person, he shows his love through the things he does for you and you wouldn’t dare change that about him. You adored the way he would come home with matching masks for the both of you, unprompted, or how he would always make sure you were feeling well and took immediate measures to bring you back to health if you felt under the weather. He didn’t say ‘I love you’ very often and his physical displays were sparse but you never once felt unloved. 

His boundaries and comfort zone were not something you would just take for granted, as much as you wanted to throw yourself in his arms every day you controlled yourself. Learning to read Sakusa’s moods came easily to you and you played your cards just right to know when he would be open to a hug or kiss, or maybe even cuddle for a bit. But life wasn’t always perfect, some days you couldn’t just wait for Sakusa to be in the right mood just so you could get a hug. 

Everything felt like it was falling apart around you, work went terribly and you just felt like a complete screwup. To make matters worse, Sakusa had texted you to complain about practice so you knew he was in a bad mood. You desperately wished your boyfriend would just sweep you in his arms and make all the troubles melt away, but you knew he wasn’t like that. So you stole one of his many warm sweaters and tugged it over your head. The scent of his laundry detergent and the warmth from the sweater instantly made you feel at ease. It wasn’t Sakusa, but you were gonna take what you could get.

You curled your legs up on the couch, mindlessly watching TV when you heard Sakusa come in the door. His bag dropped to the ground immediately and you felt his tension waft through the room. You made your way over to where he was slipping off his shoes and mask.

“Bad day?” You asked, already knowing the answer.

Sakusa just hummed in response, shedding his jacket.

“Me too...” You mumbled under your breath, but he heard you.

He finally took a good look at you and noticed the defeat and tiredness in your eyes. It had been a long time since he’d seen you so down. And the way you stood there timidly, in his sweater that was much too big on you, waiting for something to make it better, waiting for him to make it better, how could he just leave you like that?

Wordlessly Sakusa took a step closer to you and opened his arms up. You blinked in surprise, staring at him incredulously.

“Are you sure?” You whispered.

“Just get over here” He closed the space between the both of you, engulfing you into a hug.

As silly as it sounded, your breathing hitched when you felt his warmth really and fully surround you for the first time in what felt like forever. You buried your face in his shoulder and it was so much better than what you anticipated. Your frustration didn’t just melt away, it was like it never existed in the first place and you completely relaxed in his hold.

But all too soon, you felt him begin to pull away. You gripped onto the back of his shirt for dear life and nestled yourself farther into his chest.

“Wait...don’t pull away yet. Let me be greedy just this once” 

Sakusa sighed and rested his head on top of yours. Of course he’d let you be greedy, you could ask for anything you wanted from him and he’d hand it over happily. And as much as he didn’t want to admit it, this hug was just as therapeutic for him as it was for you. 

“Just this once? Really?” He inquired.

You nodded your head in response and repeated your statement.

“Is that my sweater?” The playful lilt in his voice painfully obvious.

You pulled your head away from his chest embarrassed and tried to come up with a response.

“Uhhhh, I can explain! It was...cold! And I didn’t realize it was yours and-” 

Sakusa would’ve let you continue, he doesn’t like interrupting, but he just absolutely had to kiss you right then and there. 

Sakusa Kiyoomi doesn’t care for physical affection. But for you? He could hug you until his arms went numb and kiss you until his lips were swollen and never get tired of it.

So when he asked you if you were up for another study date and you said you just weren’t in the mood, he shrugged it off

A blush bloomed on Tendou’s cheeks as he looked around the room, “I may have told Wakatoshi that I love you. So, I love you y/n!” He wrapped his arms tight around you in a big hug.

This man is probably one, if not the most affectionate man in this whole show. Fight me on this

After a few times of showing you affection but not getting much in return (because it’s hard for you) Bokuto went in a small emo mode and went to Akaashi, his most trusted adviser and best friend.

I actually had several ideas about what would make Tsumu angry, but I think it basically is

a) losing → he would escalate during monopoly, especially if he lost against Samu (→ overkill)

b) being bad at something → he would never recover from the embarrassment of tripping during dance practice

c) or being surrounded by loud fangirls → what I'm trying to write now (at 4 am, why am I like this)

You knew begging was mostly successful, and you were lucky. A sigh of defeat left his mouth and he looked at you with an annoyed expression.

“You owe me.”

You cheerfully nod and he rubs the back of his head.

“Fine. Fine.”

Being the manager of the Inarizaki team was hard. You had to deal with Atsumu's and Osamu's fights, Suna trying to sneak off practice occasionally and basically all of their stupid ideas. You were glad that you could at least rely on Kita.

Getting funds was hard though, and right now you needed them. You wanted to order new uniforms, but the principal had cut off your budget. He allowed you to raise funds by yourself though, and you thought night and day about how to get some money.

When you saw the sheer mass of fangirls that were following Atsumu and Osamu you finally got the idea. You weren't sure if it could work, but it was worth a try. A hugging booth. Like a kissing booth without kissing, but only with hugs. You knew you could never make them kiss the girls, but you were sure that the girls would be happy with some hugs.

You knew how to make the girls yearn even more, and you tried your best to present the boys as appealing as you could. You 'accidentally' poured some water on Atsumu, and snapped some pictures to some of your classmates, knowing that they would definitely forward them.

You took Osamu's shirt and told him it was outside, and when he went out shirtless to search for it confused, the waiting girls outside almost fainted. You could still hear their screams when you closed your eyes.

Now the only thing you needed to do was getting Atsumu and Osamu to participate. They seemed to be some of the most popular ones out of the team, and you knew with both of them you would hit the jackpot. You could already see yourself at the Bahamas, swimming in money.

Osamu directly declined though, and you knew that you had no chance to convince him. That made you  lose hope at first, but you knew that you had higher chances with Atsumu. Sugarcoating and begging usually helped you to keep him in place, you weren't sure why, but he always followed your orders.

And now you were here. He was standing under a big sign that read 'Hugs 5 $' and a ton of fangirls lining up in the floor.

His eyes had widened when he saw how many of the girls actually came to hug him. His mouth fell open and he looked at you with the cutest and most desperate look you had ever seen.

You smiled encouragingly at him, but a part of you found it funny to see all these girls lined up to finally hug him. Thank god for the high quality pictures of him that you made before.

“Atsumu, I love you so much! Please go out with me!” The first girl in the line handed you 5 $ and you took it and tried to hide a smile at Atsumu's annoyed reaction.

She hugged him tightly, and you could see how his body stiffened when he tried to suppress his reflex to push her back. He endured it for a few seconds before he pushed her away.

“That's enough” His voice was annoyed, but the girl still squeaked of happiness and you just shook your head. They would even pay Atsumu to insult them at this point.

With every girl that hugged him, you could see that he got closer to loosing it. He still made it through the whole line of girls, you were proud and impressed. Until it was the turn of the last girl in the row.

A muscle around his mouth was twitching. He looked like he could yell any second.

“Atsumu, I love you sooo much!” the voice from the girl was too much. He had heard this words from every single girl in this goddamned line, and he was sure that he would never get their voices out of his head.

He looked deadass in your eyes.

“I hate this. We're never doing this again.”

You try to stay serious, pressing your lips together in the desperate attempt not to laugh, but when the girl hugged him you couldn't hold back any longer. Seeing him like this was hilarious- his desperate face was adorable but you knew that he was cursing everyone in this floor right now from his whole heart.

You gently push the girl aside and nod at Atsumu, a sign that he was done for today.

He sighs in relief, and leans against the wall behind him with closed eyes. He had finally made it. Thinking about all these girls made him shiver though. He needed a shower right now.

“You're not done 'Tsumu, you still have one hug left”

His eyes widen in shock and he looked at you traumatized.

You hand him 5$ with a chuckle.

“My reward for your hard work today. You don't have to hug me though”

You say that with slightly blushed cheeks, thinking that your comment would probably only annoy him, but his expression changed suddenly. You couldn't read it anymore, you had never seen him like this before. He slowly pushes off the wall and takes a step towards you.

You gulp when he suddenly stood in front of you, and you look up to him with widened eyes.

His lips get the same smug grin as always when he puts his arms around you and embraces you in a hug.

You gasp in surprise. All these hugs from the girls, and he never never even made the slightest attempt to hug them back, but here he was now, with his strong arms around you, pressing you close to his warm chest.

“If anything, I should pay ya to hug me”

He smiled upon looking at your face and decided that second nap wouldn’t harm anyone. Once again he laid on a bed and tightened his grip around you. Daichi looked at you sleepy face for the last time and closed his eyes.

Bokuto

This idiot literally started laughing at your sleeping face, he desperatly tried to stop it, without satisfying results. You shifted twice before waking up with a loud groan.

‘Thanks for ruining our romantic nap, Koutarou. I hope you’ll rott in hell.’ You told him, running away from his grasp.

‘NO S/O-CHAN, I’M SO SORRY! LET ME LOVE YOU!’

Kuroo

‘Tetsu, why are you staring at my face?’ You asked your boyfriend with closed eyes, trying not to feel uncomfortable.

‘Well, I was doing it for past three hours, thanks for noticing.’ He replied smoothly, running a hand through your hair. ‘Nice saliva on your chin, by the way. I have a great blackmail now.’

‘KUROO TETSUROU YOU ARE A DEAD MAN!’

Oikawa

The only person in the world who thought that your sleeping face was cute, was your devoted boyfriend, Oikawa. And of course that sneaky bastard used an opportunity to make thousand photos with your napping form.

After a few minutes, his movement woke you up. 

‘Tooru, what are you doing?’ You slurred, turning your face to other side.

‘Nothing love, sleep tight.’ He replied, smiling evilly at your naivety. 

‘You will see on instagram tomorrow.’ He thought.

Iwaizumi

Hajime always had a bad luck, first he met Oikawa and now he had to listen how you talked in your sleep. He made a quick self-note to never fall asleep next to you again.

His face was redder than every and small drops of sweat appeared on his forehead.

‘Hajime, you are so hot.’ He heard you say, and nearly choked on oxygen.

Lev

Why the hell you even thought about taking a nap with Lev? That was one of the biggest mistakes you have ever made.

You loved him, but cuddling with his was as safe as standing in burning forest. You couldn’t move at all, and you hardly even breathed at that point.

‘S/o-chan, I luuvh yo..’ He groaned and wrapped his legs around you. 

As if that was not enough, he bit strand of your hair, which hurt not only physically, but mentally too.

The only thing you had left, was thinking about revenge.

Kuroo reflects on your relationship. Just pure fluff 

When someone falls in love, it is often described as a powerful drug. The rush of excitement, the yearning, the sex, the passion, the fun, the anticipation is a textbook example of what it should feel like to be in love. 

The fan hung above his ceiling provided Kuroo with a soft buzz that could easily lul him to sleep but tonight was just one of those nights. The nights where Kuroo is reminiscent, one where he allows his feelings to take control of him, one where only a few love songs could understand.

One of the hardest questions to answer while in a relationship is a question many are curious of. “What made you choose me?” you hummed,  eyes spaced out, it was clear that you asked just for the sake of asking. The answer was simple yet burdensome. Kuroo could’ve easily gone with the route of saying “You’re just different from the others,” but he knew that wouldn’t satisfy you. He wasn’t about to wreck his brain at 3 in the afternoon so he chose the safest thing to say, ‘I’ll tell you one day.“

It was those words that slipped past his mouth absentmindedly that Kuroo was suddenly reminded of. And so he thought about it, long and hard, about what made him choose you. Yes, you had a great personality and a great face that came along with. Yes, he enjoyed the sex and the occasional slip-ups that happen midway. Yes, the arguments he had with you, though sometimes brutal, always brought you two closer.
