Carlos spoke about this force of attraction between him and Oscar, calling it a "magnet" and he couldn't be more accurate. If you look at them during races, during training, qualifying, they are always hovering over each other like a shadow, even their names are together somehow. The narrators can't talk about one without needing to mention the other. "Sainz had a good first sector, but Piastri is in the second" "Carlos is the leader, but Oscar comes faster". They touch. They fight. They push each other. They talk about each other on the radio. They make petty statements about each other, and then they're just there. Coexisting, together as Carlos talks to Lando, together as Charles gives an interview, together as they walk around the track, together as they wait to be interviewed, together on the podium, together at the backboard, together in the pits, together during the national anthem. And they're not always interacting, BUT THEY ARE THERE, as one ...

I just realised that Carcar were the only non-Redbull drivers to win a race in 2023. Oscar won the Qatar sprint race with McLaren, and Carlos won the Singapore GP with Ferrari.
Doing my daily research on ‘did carlos follows oscar back on instagram‘ , and find out that sainz sr did follow oscar. (Oscar did not follow back)
