just watched centaurworld and you cannot tell me there wasn't conflict in the writer's room about horse x rider

(screenshots below including the finale so spoilers)

so in S2E4 Horse says this refering to Becky Apples

and then later that very same episode she says this to wamawink comparing the situation between her and jeffica to horse and becky apple's situation

what are these mixed messages I'm being given

then in the series finale the nowhere king compares himself to horse

in regards to the situation between them and their "humans"

the situation between the nowhere king and his "human" being very much romantic

and then there's how sensual they made all of these scenes

and there's many times where it looks like they almost kiss

and the whole U-Haul lesbian thing in regards to this

but then there's all this

so in conclusion I think there was conflict in the writer's room about this so there's multiple things pointing both ways and to be clear I don't condone this ship I just wanted to publish my thoughts on what happened to make this how it is, and if you're trying to think of a reason why this could have happened in canon then perhaps the centaurworld's anthropomorphism of Horse it turned horse's bond to rider into a romantic one because the bond between a horse and their rider isn't really something that exists between two anthropomorphic beings

I’ve been watching some new shows lol (Saiki K and CentaurWorld)

I have no way to watch CentaurWorld but I would die for Rider. For one she looks like Katara mixed with Jinora, but I think she has trauma??? I have no idea though.

I’ve only been able to watch a few trailers, ‘Rider’s Lullaby’ and ‘I’ve Been Searching’ song clips.

My theory on Rider and Horse's names is that Rider was either raised for the purpose of fighting the war on the back of a horse, and wasnt given another name, or that she changed/someone else changed her name once she decided to become a rider.

And Horse just kind of... followed along with it.

Can we appreciate just how well Rider took things???

What's The Flock? (Centaurworld Theory)

SPOILER WARNING FOR THE S1 FINALE

I'm not sure many others noticed this, but during The Rift: Part 2, while Horse is explaining that they need two armies to fight the war, Rider interrupts to ask her if she means "The Flock?"

You can hear it if you rewatch the episode, and it's said fairly clearly (unless my hearing is just bonkers lol) I don't think it's the subtitles messing up, either, she clearly asks "The flock?", and there's not much else she could have been asking unless Rider is now allowed to swear.

I'm gonna' guess that it might not be important, but if it is, chances are that Rider and The General know about it.

Crack headcanon;

Wammawink tries to institute a 'no weapons at the table' policy, specifically meant for the Woman and Rider, because god damn it, you two can't keep pointing knives at the leaf-taurs!

It quickly gets reversed, because the Woman is like??? really good at hiding her weapons??? but she also has magic so it ends up negating the whole point??? And Rider keeps pawing at where her sword hilt should be and looking really anxious.

Wammawink: What do you have there?

Rider: A KNIFE!

Wammawink: NO-!

Centaur World is so confusing.

This show is so fucking stupid, but at the same time, it’s really beautiful.

Some of the characters are so annoying, but I can easily tolerate them cause I love them.

The character designs are so weird, but I like how they look.

I hate that I like this show, but I love that I love it?

I hate that I even watched the show at all, but at the same time, I don’t regret it because it’s pretty amazing from certain angles.

Some of the songs are incredibly annoying, stupid, and weird, and some of them are sad, beautiful, and tear jerking sometimes-

I won’t lie, I did cry at some scenes, I did fall in love with some characters, and I ended up relating to some characters.

And I love how dark the show got too! I didn’t think that it would be creepy!

This show really is, something.
