hey, i was also planning on doing a co09 flipside rewrite but i was unaware someone else was already doing it, so…

the problem wasn’t that it WAS feet, the last games had jokes about it, the problem was the routes were the 2 longest in the game, had 90% of all the games CG’s, had way too much dialogue around them, & also nicole got MAJORLY mischaracterized in one of the routes

i feel like your forgetting this game was supposed to be funny, dude. as much as i agree on the point that it IS putting us in the shoes of someone who isn’t a sociopath making us actually feel what a normal person would, which all things considered, SBN3 did really well tbh. the problem is, instead of making us feel uncomfortable (like a normal person would) then making us laugh at the odd situation that just happened (like the last 2 games) this shit just made us uncomfortable & left it with that.

That SBN3 is just like Micheal Jackson!
He’s a man who was loved by many & created many great & loved things. However he was, late into his career, outed as a terrible person, cause division among people who were fans of the media they made.
Some people inhaled copium, attempting to convince themselves that the accusations are fake, many others started boycotting him, & another group of others hated him but refused to deny the greatness of their creations.

As a fan of so many different things, i often find myself observing the difference in creators. Like, Peak written by Peak Vs. Peak written by P-Diddy. One Piece Vs. Class of ‘09. It’s honestly eye opening to see that as shit as people are, whether on accident or purpose they can create peak.

Tbh I'm not really surprised by how shocking and edgy Flip Side is because that's what I expected in the original and in Re-Up. But my main issue with this game, sbn's weird kinks aside, is that flip side felt more like jecka torture porn. it's either her getting verbally abused by her dad, dating her pedo teacher with no payoff, or just her going off the rails
how do you have 5 endings but none of them seem to have a decent ending for her. i guess you can argue that the jeffery dying ending is somewhat of a neutral ending for her, but the route in that seemed like it encompassed 50% of the game
the only ending i can say was probably the best written one was the nicole suicide ending since it was treated seriously and the player got insight to what was going on in jecka's head after nicole committed. i also like her whole talk with ms ames about how no one at school really gave a shit about her or nicole after all that went down, and then it just ends like that
i was honestly hoping there would be more routes where this game overlaps with the first two, but i guess that's wishful thinking.
the only positives i can really say about this game are the stellar voice acting from kayli mills as jecka (and also everyone else), and the use of more CG panels
other than that, the lack of content in this third game is not worth $15 just save your money and give it to a c09 fanartist/content creator or something

Okay, is it kinda annoying to anyone else that flipside makes literally EVERY single male character a sexual deviant of some kind. Like, I’m not asking for a good male character, but at least the first two have a VARIETY of shitty guys. The Mr.White route was so funny because it subverts your expectations.At this point it’s just stale.
My favorite ending in the first class of 09 is the white supremacist FBI ending.
My favorite ending in Re-Up is the Expose Ms.Ames ending.
Flipside clearly failed because there weren’t any routes focusing on a racist teacher

Like I knew the dev was a weirdo but he wrote a really good satire / comedy... but then he decided to burn it
Welp, if we abandon the fandom, he wins. Time to separate the game from that dude
unpopular opinion but i dont think it was totally ooc for nicole to do that. nicole is vengeful as fuck. we saw what she did to megan and megan was practically a stranger to her. nicole hates hearing the word no and getting told what to do. nicole hates when someone gets in the way of her getting what she wants. jecka was her best friend and she got in the way of nicole getting what she wanted (earning a shit ton of cash by barely working). this would make her even more angry at jecka than she was at megan so ofc she would do something extreme to get back at her. to me it was a disturbing ending, but not a shocking one.

okay so now that the games come out, is anyone shocked by jecka’s suicide ending??
(it’s already super weird that the game has two whole endings about foot fetishes, but oh well.)
like i just feel like the entire ending is odd and super out of character for nicole. like nicole is a bad person, obviously, but jecka is usually the exception for her antics. it just seems super extreme for her for to go and do all of that to her dad, considering emily is already dating jecka’s dad.
i’ve seen people say “oh well nicole is a sociopath!! it’s in character!!!” and i’m just like.. did you actually play the game or just watch the intro?? nicole is definitely a bad person but she wouldn’t hurt jecka bc their friendship actually means something to her.
