The Egyptian Timelines have been prominent in the last few months. Recently I've noticed that more and more specific people are appearing. Cleopatra has been, by far, the character that's come more strongly. Today, I was guided to share my wisdom about her symbolic meaning for the collective. Those that feel attracted towards her are meant to embody her lessons.

Yeah nah they're not re-writing this. My auto-didactic obsession you don't touch that.
If they cared about African history they'd not erase the entire dynamic between the native Kushite peoples of the Upper Nile (let alone the panoply of peoples within this "crossroads empire") and the Greek aristocracy that developed on top of it. You could tell (and have a history to reference more easily than ever) a damn good story with that? No? The wars of the Diadochi and the pressing of Africans to fight and the subsequent revolts? NoPe bIn tHaT..
To go a step further as I formerly stated the Greeks developed on top of Egyptian society and were strained to integrate. Outside of Greece they were never "truly settled" in a sense (you could even say that in Greece really...) Settling is not in the Apollonian spirit it is present, it is the body. It is that very practical, cosmopolitan, and mercantile society. (But like any it has it's hierarchies and by our modern sense it's atrocities that go with) It only existed as there was life in it and when withered leaves the Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian column as evidence it was hence. (It was not even apparent to them at first to record their history, that too "carried with" in the oral/bardic tradition)
Really the hinge of the of the Ptolemaic Empire was Crete (not literally) but as a range. Colonies in Anatolia, Cyprus, Attica, Cyrenian Libya (formerly a Republic) distinct in retaining it's character. They were a people of the sea and clung to coast in every regard (or otherwise set off to find it). With that in mind, another avenue left blind by ignorance would only take a glance south in this period. Kush, Makuria, Aksum, a multitude of African Kingdoms going all along the Horn Of Africa (and all too relevant given contemporary developments).
All submerged for cheap race swap bait. A consequence of people who relate through a cracked mirror.

So basically I had this idea to switch the tropes of the characters.they're still the same people at heart tho. Like Abe was an awkward uncool guy he'd be popular and stuff but still very dumb and silly. Cleo would be in popular but she'd still think she was better than everyone by smarts. Think of what the world needs is,people like me song. Joan would be a popular girl she hated before but still cares about morals at heart and stuff. JFK doesn't get girls he can't but he tries really hard to. He's still dumb though think of an incel kind of.
This was fun to make its just a dumb au basically Abe would go for Cleo(after she started stuffing her bra cause she canonly does that) and she'd be all like nooo I can't date you I have to study I'm above everyone else like my clone mother and after a while she realizes guys will do what she wants because she's pretty and stuff. So she starts to use Abe.
Cleo and JFK would be best friends because they're uncool. JFK would probably try to flirt with her and date her and she just stares at him and then pretends he didn't say that. They're friends but Cleo thinks he's a drag even if she'd stop to help him still. Joan and Abe and Gandhi(haven't gotten an idea for him yet maybe just a gloomy guy?idk) are best friends still and Joan still has a crush on Abe technically Abe likes her back but he like Cleo because she's kind of unattainable and he thought Cleo had real potential to be something ''''great''''
I think it'd be a parody if Grease or something.
Want to use this mainly for historical jokes like JFK trying hard to get a woman, Cleopatra slowly becoming manipulative and stuff, Abe has broad shoulders like Abraham Lincoln btw because I hc he's slouching is so bad in the og that it lowers his shoulders.
I got this idea from looking at this one picture of Abraham Lincoln and thinking 'woah he looks like a stereotypical try hard cool guy' so
Bonus Topher. I am not sure how the s2 characters would go in this because like Fridas trope is that she's the chill one. I could easily switch that but itd be impossible for some of her character to still be there cause idk its kinda the only thing to her sometimes? Not frida slander love frida I just don't know how itd work in the au.
Tophers trope I think is the weird kid so that means he'd be popular kid but also like overly normal. Or trying to be. Like maybe in a creepish way. I think he'd still be an asshole but very fake with it. Considering his trope is the unpleasant weird kid. I think he'd go by Christopher except noone pays attention to his last name if he just goes shhhhh don't mention it. His sanity is holding by a thread and he prob looks like he's one moment away from screaming angrily all the time. He'd manipulate to get what he wants and I feel like he and Abe would try to get along at first but he probably grows some weird hate crush on him along the way. Maybe his family is more rich in this I want to make historical references but I think him acting overly 'nice' in a weird way is already irony.
He probably wears rings.
Its either that or a religious fanatic that smiles too much in a creepy way.

My favorite part of Clone High s2 was when the clones got high. Truly one of the moments of all time.
