Cubby’s ability to like engineer stuff needs to be pointed out more
I can’t tell if the crew has daddy issues from Captain Hook or Big bro issues from Peter.
Starting with the more obvious one, Peter is Very neglectful with them. Only really talking to them via notes and treasure maps. And when he does visit in person it’s usually to get help from the crew.
Hook is just kinda a bullying asshole, yes there are moments where he is nice and stuff but 70% of the time he is an asshole. First off he steals their stuff, second causes them problems for his own gain, third he tried to KILL them once.
I don’t think that both of them is abusive per se but they don’t have the cleanest record…

Crew brake up AU + Villian Izzy and Jake AU
Basically Izzy is kinda jealous about Jake being captain so she starts being antsy and stuff. After a while her and Jake get into a fight and she runs off. Soon she is found by Captain Hook and becomes part of his crew for awhile.
During that time Jake is distraught, his trust has been broken by his family basically. And with the not so fun stress of helping everyone on Neverland he breaks. He starts to be very clingy and won’t let the rest of the crew out of his sight.
Jake: sometimes I’m embarrassed to be friends with Izzy..because one time we were at a picnic she yelled at Captain Hook to shove a marker up his urethra…

Headcanon:
Jake has a “suck it up and be nice” sorta mentality.. he’s had this long before becoming captain and when he does become captain it get worse.
He rarely gets pissy with people because of this but one time he was so overwhelmed with stressed he yelled at hook (calling him crocodile food) and immediately felt bad afterwards.
Hook being an ass basically makes Jake feel like the worst piece of shit possible by constantly reminding him about.
Izzy hates it when people underestimate her which happens ALL THE TIME. Almost her whole life she has had to prove herself just to be respected and taken seriously.
So she basically uses most of her time and energy to improve herself to gain more power cause in her mind

Some people in the JATNLP fandom make Jake a horny piece of shit (especially around Izzy). I find this version of him kinda interesting but over done. But what if Izzy was the horny asshole instead of Jake, it would give way to showing how boys can get sexually assaulted and abused. (Cause honestly Jake in some of these fan fic is straight up abusive)

Leave Jake alone, he needs to complete the side quests to get 100%.
I get that they’re all supposed to be uber willing to drop everything and help at all times, but i like to think that over time Izzy and cubby lose their patience with people interrupting their treasures hunts so they can solve a problem a grown person should be able to do competently by themselves. Also they just start dragging Jake away when they smee without hook with him
Oh, and yeah I’m rewatching legion of pirate villains, i like redrawing episode frames sometimes it’s fun
