Ok I need to scream into the void rq. I hate when I try to find a cute/funny rat picture for my various reasons and google images shows me pictures of horrific animal abuse. Like genuinely what the fuck. I’m not gonna give any real examples for obvious reasons but it’ll be like I google “silly rat” and I’ll see a pic of a rat in a saw trap from an article “silly rat got caught” or some shit. I wish death and pain on every single animal abuser and I’m not being hyperbolic with that.
Ok rant over, I’m normal again now. Here’s a gif of a rat being happy to cheer me up.
Okay Tumblr I am seriously really upset but NEED TO SHARE THIS WITH YOU so instead of retyping it all I want you to know that I'm SUPER MAD that my dog is, to my approximation, being abused, and that no one will do anything about it.

The saga of GIVE ME MY FUCKING DOG BACK continues. Apparently we're being charged for an extra day of boarding, our dog isn't being released to us, and he'd been given "sedation" despite not being attended to by the doctor????? I think they preemptively billed us for the sedation because they're going to bathe him despite us not really expressing interest in a bath?? Why would we want one for him when we bathed him prior to dropping him off anyway? Unless they have shit to hide. In fact I'm entirely convinced that these fucking people have a shit-ton to hide from us, because if they didn't, they would have given us our "aggressive" dog on Sunday to be rid of him, or the doctor would have gotten off her ass and done something about the fact that she has not one, but THREE very displeased customers threatening to press charges on her practice, one of which has worked in the conditions of her office and has been derided before this woman to the point where I even questioned my own choices in this field. The only good thing that comes from this is the fact that yes, my fucking parents now see why I quit this clinic, and that while this doctor, whose name I'd LOVE to shout across tumblr, along with the name of her clinic(s) and practices, I won't unless you live in the Tampa/Brandon/Seffner area of Florida...while she is a decent surgeon, she should NOT BE A VETERINARIAN because all she cares about is the money. All I suggest to you is that you CHECK YOUR RATINGS, CHECK THE VET YOU'RE GOING TO. There are bad reviews for her and they're right up top, but surrounded also by fake padded reviews that are clearly written by her family, who are also in the business. Don't let YOUR animals be held hostage because you don't know any better, and because the cheap rates and "accreditation" by the humane society as a cheap spay/neuter clinic entice you. This is not a good practice. She needs to be shut down. And I hope me and my parents finally make a difference before she kills or hurts anymore animals.

When you told Sniper that you worked with dogs that had been abused by their owners, he immediately wanted to come into work with you
It was sad, seeing dogs cowering in their pens and flinching whenever someone came close
He would watch as you worked with them, not trying to force any contact or anything, just sitting there with treats in your hand and letting them come to you.
You then introduced him to one of the dogs that you had adopted, a sweetheart of an Australian Cattle dog who you had named Chilli (yeah it’s a Bluey reference. So what.)
She had been found tied up in someone’s yard, severely dehydrated.
You had spent weeks slowly earning her trust until you two were inseparable.
He loves her to bits, and he joins you when you take her on walks.
So many snuggles.
She is your and his child now. You are dog parents. There is no escaping it.

He purposefully sobers up when you offer to take him into work with you, as he didn't want to accidentally frighten the dogs.
He almost bursts into tears at the sight of the dogs, and he silently wants to kill the people who abused them a thousand times over.
He watches you in awe as you help them to trust people again; you look so gentle and kind.
When you introduce him to your big fluffy golden retriever Tommy he instantly fell in love with him.
He was found as a stray and was very timid at first, but he eventually became a big loveable goofball.
So many snuggles with you and Tommy. You've almost suffocated twice.
Now you have two loyal boys to love :)

Pretty fond of dogs, I head cannon he had one growing up
When you told him about your job, he thought it was a very admirable thing to do
He loves watching you work with the dogs, gently coaxing them, not forcing anything and letting the trust build between you.
Sometimes he helps, but most of the time he just watches
You eventually introduce him to your lovely greyhound Evie. She had been used as a racing dog, and her owners had been very abusive, often starving her for days.
She’s still a little shy, but she was much more sociable now.
Engie simply adores her, and she can normally be found lying at his feet in his workshop as he works.
Cuddle piles are a regular occurrence with you. He made a special little corner of his workshop especially for them.
There is no escape from the cuddles
