Shout out to that time I drew reconstructed versions of the Galar fossil 'mons. These were made a few months ago. I was indecisive on what to do with arcto's design so I ended up making two.
Decided to do a different redesign for the galar fossil pokemon. This time instead of recreating the origional pokemon, I just wanted to make them look less like they crave death.
Tyrantozolt is an interesting case,being the first pokemon fused with a pokemon that is already a fusion. Its still unclear if this was how Dracozolt originally looked,but it was recently created by a paleontologist in order to make it one of the strongest pokemon. Unfortunately,its speed is still hindered by its heavy body made of rocks,although it can ocasionally get short bursts of fast movements.
This was so difficult to do! Pity me ;-;
We're also going to ignore the fact that Dracozolt and Arctozolt's head isnt part of it. It never existed 0.0
Although there are many theories on how the galar fossils originally looked,this is the most agreed upon. It is thought that it could either have had 4 typings,being the first discovered pokemon with more than 2,or it only had two,possibly water/ice or water/dragon,the electric typing from dracozolt coming from when it constantly discharged electricity from its cheeks,shocking its prey.Unlike Pikachu,it was always producing electricity nonstop. Its claws were believed to retract into its "glacier" for faster swimming,only bringing them out to fight very tough foes. When it saw boats passing by,it would emerge its top body from the water,causing them to accidently hit them and sink.
