DSMP CHARACTER SHIT

so. one of my recent posts was abt the song monster. and i said that the verses reminded me of dsmp characters. so i'm putting the verses all together and showing you what i mean.

Verse One: The Cyclops(Techno) Is the cyclops struck with guilt when he kills? Is he up in the middle of the night? Or does he end my men to avenge his friend And then sleep knowing he has done him right?

Verse Two: The Witch(Niki) When the witch turns men to pigs to protect her nymphs is she going insane? Or did she learn to be colder when she got older And now she saves them the pain?

Verse Three: The God(Dream) When a god comes down and makes a fleet drown Is he scared that he's doing something wrong? Or does he keep us in check so we must respect him And now no one dares to piss him off?

Verse Four: The Soldier(Wilbur) Does a soldier use a wooden horse to kill sleeping Trojans 'cause he is vile? Or does he throw away his remorse and save more lives with guile? Verse Five: The Monster(Tommy) If I became the monster, and threw that guilt away Would that make us stronger? Would it keep our foes at bay? If I became the monster to everyone but us And made sure we got home again Who would care if we're unjust? If I became the Monster Oh, ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves Monster And deep down I know this well I lost my best friend(Tubbo) I lost my mentor(Wilbur), my mom(Kristen) Five hundred men gone(the l'manbulgarian soldiers), this can't go on I must get to see Penelope(Tubbo) and Telemachus(Ranboo_ So if we must sail through dangerous oceans and beaches I'll go where Poseidon(Dream) won't reach us And if I gotta drop another infant(bombs) from a wall In an instant so we all don't die Then I'll become the Monster I will deal the blow And I'll become the Monster Like none they've ever known So what if I'm the Monster Lurking deep below? I must become the Monster And then we'll make it home Monster Penelope(Tubbo) Monster Telemachus(Ranboo) Monster Oh, ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves Monster I'll become the monster

For the record: I was an artist in the grupp about dsmp not so long ago. And I was answering the questions about Mr.JM himself. Let's say I didn't had enough time, attention, and strength to do more. And I still have not enough time, but i will look for the opportunity to do this. It's like an ich what I can't scratch or an obsession, what I can't escape. In a good way. I want to dive into this thing.

I always wanted to make more. And I am determined to do so. I, actually, have an au! consept somewhere in my notes. So prep yourself for the future fun stuff

This is my second doodle from Monday!!! All the doodles are a variety of just sketches and colored sketches of various levels of detail. Monday I drew Niki!!!

The upgrade in gradient lighting and the use of perspective (we've seen some good perspective use in Hog Hunt as well), not to mention the sun rays in Tommy's speech or the fires when Dream is backing away

The wispiness of Wilbur’s transitions, god the animation in this part and the battle was so beautifully smooth

It was DTIYS 30K by Dialmuci on twt, but I late on it. Well I like this work so here we are

i think we can all agree now that c!niki would not be the 'they asked for no pickles' person in the syndicate, right. like, c!ranboo would get pickles on their burger and niki would think about saying something but instead just offer him her chicken sandwich (came with no pickles). c!techno would say he'd go get it fixed and then go 'ah well they only pay minimum wage here :/ i'll get you another burger later man' while c!phil is already up at the dang counter to fix it.

More DSMP fans need to be obsessed with C!Niki because while her story wasn't handled perfectly, her character and story explores some really interesting themes.

The first thing she did after joining the server was declare loyalty to Wilbur and L'manburg. The second thing she did was befriend Eret when everyone told her not to trust them. She was the last one take off her L'manburg uniform, long after the founders had stopped wearing theirs.

She was the loudest voice of rebellion against Schlatt, the most violent protester against his reign. She was treated as nothing more than a minor annoyance for this rebellion.

She saw the tnt Wilbur had placed beneath L'manburg, she saw it and kept it quiet because she trusted and believed that Wilbur wouldn't use it without good reason. After he pressed that button, after he died, she went and found one of his old coats and wore it, despite the pain of betrayal.

Wilbur, Dream, Techno and Phil all tried to destroy L'manburg, but failed. They failed to stop people from fighting for L'manburg. Niki didn't. Niki, L'manburg's most loyal and devoted, killed L'mabburg when she burnt down the L'mantree. L'manburg didn't die until Niki declared it dead.

Ghostbur only showed up once for Niki, despite her being one of the few people he remembered, even after all that time.

"We've been overlooked for far too long."

She's been hurt, and her pain is silenced. When she was suffering for her defiance against Schlatt and Manberg, Pogtopia told her to wait, that they had no room for her. When Wilbur died, no one thought to comfort her for her grief, despite that he was the one she was loyal to, that she joined L'manburg for. No matter how loud she screamed and cried, no one heard her, no one cared.

It's about fire and rage and pain and healing. Her pain and suffering went ignored, and she needed at an outlet, a scapegoat. And she tried to do that, tried to hurt others the way she had been hurt, in a blind attempt to fix things in a messed up way.

Then she heals. She heals with those who she joined because of that anger and pain and wrath. She heals and finds peace and makes amends.

Niki's story isn't perfect, but it's so wonderfully complicated and full of beautiful contradictions. Loyalty and Defiance. Hope and Despair. Forgiveness and Revenge. Blind Faith and Paranoia.

I just think this fandom really sleeps on her a lot.
