I dont usually like to talk about Starscream but Megatron didn't get like. any screentime during this season and Starscream piqued my interest (surprisingly). I actually love that they gave him a chance to lead the cons because it showcases why he wasn't allowed to in the first place. Like dude you are just as bad as megs you are NOT an upgrade. He became violent and manipulative and threw away everyone after they served their purpose just like Megatron used to do. Even though Starscream talks about how different they are, they're more alike than he likes to admit. I also love how they did the scene where he takes the shards from Spitfire and Aftermath. The music and perspective makes him seem really terrifying which doubles down on how corrupt he became after becoming leader. Very cool and awesome
Inspired by a recent ask but so megatron focused it didn’t fit anymore. I have very complex feelings about forgiveness and change… I think I articulated them okay.
All I want to know is WHEN did Starscream get the goatee.
When? WHEN did he think that thing was a good idea? Before his reformation? Before Megatron defected? I’m so desperate to imagine G1 Starscream being ugly by choice while still in his old seeker model oh my GOD

I try not to think about AUs when shows are just starting out and the premise is still new, because I don’t know NEARLY enough about what’s going on -AND in the case of this scenario, I’m wondering if Starscream just pretended to be good or something for a moment to trick Megatron- but……….
An AU where Starscream is good and stays good and takes over GHOST management because she’s awful like that, and her and Megatron continue their horrible relationship, now with witnesses, while Soundwave screams in one of the cell blocks in the detainment ward ADDFDKG HKGJ

I will be relying on the fact that Earthspark Megatron is the softest Megatron I have ever seen, and Starscream is going to use that to be unstoppably bratty✨

Back when we didn’t know the seeker’s names in Earthspark, my friend and I coined the name Piss Storm, in lieu of the seekers named acid storm, nova storm, and the like. And now, a comic a year later lol
I’m so happy with how they wrote starscream in the latest ES episodes, his VA has done a magnificent job once again. Him coming to terms with how he was treated by Megatron before, him realizing he’s using intimidation as a defense as well. Does this count as a redemption arc perhaps? Maybe a little, just a tiny bit. He might come back later to cause more trouble but I’m sure he’s internally grateful for the Malto family and the Terrans. I’m sure Twitch and Hashtag left a lasting effect on him. Maybe I’m looking too much into it, idk ^-^
