On the left side is buggyman (who is based on dragon headed caterpillar) Jess (don’t call her Jessica) an always sleepy and snappy student, who has rather pointy teeth (her head and belly are grey, other bodyparts are light-grey), she loves wearing white t-shirts with shiny pictures (think about old internet gifs from 2007-2010) on them. I forgot to draw another pair of legs tho)
On the right side is buggyman (who is based on wooly bears, moth caterpillar and other fluffy caterpillars) - Teedee. They are white fluffy friendly fella who works barista at coffee house. Their gender? Mystery. Their age? Mystery. Their face? Mystery. Their body beneith the fluff? Another mystery.
!!! Oh these are so good! SUPER fun buggiemen designs, Teedee is adorable and super clever! I really like Jess too, haven’t seen any other caterpillar characters yet!

Now you know what I’ve been so busy working on this past month! It’s been little over a year since I started posting Edgeworld stuff, and also just about one of the worst years most of us have ever experienced, soooooo, I figured I’d get you guys a lil gift for making it through the absolute nightmare that was 2020.
Every single person who’s made an Edgeworld fan character should have one of them drawn here! (If not, oh god I’m so sorry, please message me and I’ll edit them in)
Thank you all so much for your support, contributions, and just plain being here as I’ve slowly stumbled my way through figuring this setting out! You’ve been a huge help with helping expand this world and it really wouldn’t be nearly as huge and developed as it is now without everyone’s contributions, whether that is in form of questions, fan OCs, or mercilessly bullying my characters.

There are Griffon Alexander (raven+lynx) and non-sentient creature, berry/fruit mimic - Fruitsnap.
Alexander is middle aged man, who works on big fruit and berry farm near Edge, looks after plants and drives out thieves and pests, like this strawberry fruitsnap.
Fruitsnaps are predators and blind but can sense then something edible next to them and bite it (ranges from insects to prying fingers), can move around with their thin legs. Have sharp teeth and tongue. They can be of different types, sizes and colors.
I… huh. Don’t think I’ve ever gotten submissions for plant and animal stuff for Edgeworld before. That’s actually very helpful and I might steal this!
Alexander is doing good, important work and I’m proud of him.
There is my self insert Edgesona - Sina, she is Buggiemen based on popular Bagworm moth. She always wears coat (with zipper, pockets inside and holes for hands) that covered with pieces of cloth, wich is normal for Buggiemen Bagworm moths (coat also can be covered with stones, branches, shells etc.). She is handmade artist, usually gloomy, silent and inovert.

Did someone said well known mythological creatures-celebrities? Here comes Goryn (based on russian popular dragon or serpent Zmei Gorynich) a popular chef near Edge (in past he was stealing young maidens and guarded someone’s treasure, but got sick of it and moved) he is very passionate about food and hate when someone uses food products irrationally (looking at you Orange) and maybe or not is involved with some shady people and shady food products.
YOU JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND ART GORYN orange is making brand new culinary discoveries and you cannot stop him
I think this might be the first chef character in Edgeworld so far! (unless I’m forgetting someone)
Another food pun Satyr/Faun - Sgrapegoat
These fellas have grape tails, horns (grapes are grow on them), and beards (even children have beards). They like to sing, dance and drink grape wine (and will not get drunk from it and only from it), children and people far from The Edge drink grape juice.
I’m so glad you’ve noticed the theme of some Edgeworld species basically just being a single pun/really bad joke and absolutely nothing else. Love this dude!
How about a Harpy - Harpie?
Harpies are just birds with pies on their back, also they have a food on the head (it depends on the filling of the pie). If you ask nicelly, you can eat entire pie (a walking buffet). The eaten pie will regrowin a different pie with different filling and a food on head will change. Pies can have different temperature.

I love this idea, made me laugh! I don’t actually have any food-based critters, I think. Vampires? Copyrats sometimes? Idk. Either way, I love this design.
Oh yeah this is a pretty good time for a reminder that anyone can make a custom species if you wanna!
Here are Shinx - Spurrhinx and Troll
Spurrhinxes are just cats with feathers on they hands and near their neck, also they have strange object on the end of tail, nobody knows what does it mean, but hey, free bottle-opener!
Trolls are just hairy fellas with big noses, ears, mouths, and small eyes and stick hands and feet
These are so fucking cute omg
The troll is giving me The Groke vibes which is actually one of the main inspirations for the Edgeworld elves! (Along with hattifatteners)
Another Russia popular mythological being - Baba Yaga
In Edgeworld she is an old powerfull hag of an elf with bucked teeth, kerchief on her head, which she never takes off and nasty attitude, who does not have a permanent residence and travels the world (usualy she travels through the woods) on her big mortar with chicken legs*, collecting various things from buttons to someone’s bones. She was born without right hand, and used various things as a prosthesis before with magic, now she uses someones bones** (if she goes far from Edge, she needs to cover bone hand). Sometimes, when she have when she is in a good mood, she can help someone. Doesn’t like new things, especially new technologies. Have a unwilling slave voluntary assistant a male mouseflie (who have some nyagas genes, so he is bigger and longer that average mouseflie) - Misha, who is doing things helping her.
* In folklore Baba Yaga have house with chicken legs and flying big mortar, but I desided to combine them
** In folklore Baba Yaga have bone leg, but since elves have invisible legs, I gave her bone arm
This is so cool?! I love that people have started making Edgeworld versions of folklore characters and this design really fun!
Long mousefly is killing me
And another Russian mythology creatures - Leshy (Lesh the troll) and Vodyanoy (Vody the Merple and Minotaur hybrid)
Lesh is old, silent and stong man that nursing and protecting big forest near Edge. Walking around. In mud, grass, leaves and etc. Smels like forest. Doesn’t understand how civilization and technology work. Great listener. Loves eat mushrooms (all trolls likes to eat them). Best friend with Vody.
Vody is also old and strong, but rather talkative, protect and nursing reservoirs of water likelakes and swamps, but not so often. He likes to tell (anyone who want to listen), write (he is popular writer) and read stories. He got strong legs to walk around, but prefer sitting at home. Best buddy with Lesh.
Oh these two are good! Love seeing more hybrids, and merple ones are particularly amazing and cursed. I’m imagining these two in a ridiculous buddy comedy.
Vani Firestarter, she/her, Copyrat and Dradon hybrid, has normal fire and smoke but smoke smell like vanilla, working as psychotherapist near Edge
Umis, he/him - Cornichon, hair, beard, hands - cucumber vines, if cut can regrow again but that shit will hurt, cannot grow to infinite length, on the end of tail - cucumber flower (also can regrow), jar of cucumbers is as soft and flexible as a simple body, if wounded, then what’s inside will flow out (this is not fatal, it will fill up with cucumbers and brine again) and blood (this is fatal), so you need to carry flex tape with you everywhere
YES it’s about time we got some pun corns, excellent!! Vani is really cute and MAN this setting could really use some therapists.
Aaaaaaaand another fan species
Chimeras are cursed gorgeous firebreathing noodles snakes with goat legs and lion arms and paws
Slimes are slugs that are inside their slime and control it (think about pokemon Reuniclus) but doesn’t leave trails off slime everywhere (like pokemon Muk), only losing control of it when sleeping, passed out, dead or pulled out. To eat and talk they need stick out mouth. Without slime they are dead.

I like these two a lot! Edgeworld technically already has chimeras (hybrids) but MAN, arm snake is making my day and that slime is ADORABLE!
Here some flaura and flora - Redcap and bluecap - mushrooms, breadfruit tree.
Redcaps are red mushrooms - in forest, untasty, poisonous, grows near dead things, meet often
Bluecaps are blue mushrooms - in caves, very tasty, not poisonous, shines in the dark, rare
Breadfruit tree is the literally tree, that grows various breads, the flower looks like fire and pestle looks like bread shovel, have white squiggles all over the trunk and branches
Aaaah I REALLY like these ideas a lot! I may end up stealing some of ‘em for a couple of future Edgeworld environment draws, actually.
Species themed food and drinks (idk if I should make them as menu in popular cafe there TeeDee works or this is brand food and drinks):
Minotaur’s paws nuggets with rainbow sauce, Drager (dragon burger, spicy!), spicy Phoenix drink (the drink is ignited and drunk through a straw), watermelon juice and pumpkin liqueur, poured in layers (Vampire), Lolycorn (Corn), mint Mandrake ice-cream, Animimic cupcake, Copyrat soda water in bottle, Lindworm long gum, Therewoof pie, Buggiemen cookies, Imp hotdog , Selkie/Swan maiden candy, Mousefly cake, Nyaga ice-cream cone, Merple canned soup, Brook horse beer, Kitsune cheese snackies, Cockatrice round bun covered with coconut with chocolate beak, Elf milkshake with whipped cream and edible glitter, Basilisk Cola, Hoppit bottled ice tea, Griffin cake, Gorgon lolypop (sour).
THESE ARE SO COOL, they’re giving me some serious Neopets vibes and I mean that in the best way possible. I honestly hadn’t even thought about making food items for this setting, I love these!
Rainbow sauce tree! How about that!
To get the sauce, the tree must be under sunlight (and no other light) or there will flow a thick, tasteless liquid instead of sauce (you get the sauce from cut like birch sap or maple syrup).
If it rains (and no other water resources) blue fruit with seeds in the form of a drop will appear (they used and eaten like dragon fruit).
This one’s really fun too! I appreciate these little lore submissions a lot.
Where do the milk and sausages come from? How about get them from trees! Introducing: Milk tree (based on real tree Brosimum utile or Milk tree), Sausage tree (based on real tree Kigelia or Sausage tree), and simple bush of Crabberries.
Milk tree is a plump pink tree with black brush-like flowers and black and white leaves. To get milk you need to make an incision and put a bucket on the ground so that the milk flows there (like getting a Maple syrup or Birch sap).
Sausage tree is skinny tree with pink stripes, red and white flowers (that looks, smells and taste like raw meat, pollinated by flies), various sausages grows on them like bananas.
Crabberries are bush with berries, that looks like crab claws and have a white sweetish pulp.
Sometimes you just gotta milk a tree!
Pokemon Edgeworld AU - Edgemon!
Leopold as Beautifly.
Why? Because:
1. Bug with wings, that can drink blood and nectar with it’s long mouth;
2. Pokedex says Beautifly is aggressive;
3. They are completely monochrome, exept eyes and some bits on wings.
In this AU Leo still won’t drink blood and still will disgusted even at the mention of drinking. Still loses his wings (the picture shows the wings as they were). Doesn’t have tatoos, as it is more realistic. STILL angry, depressive, alcogolic, murder-man.
Eggemon! Gonna draw them all!
Sugarbeans as Aromatisse, because they are bird like (who cannot fly), pink, fluffy, cute, with paws as legs
P.S. Forgot to mention, that in this AU Leo loves Liechi berries and have a few clothes with drawings of them.
Oh these are FANTASTIC! This and the Leo one are so good and honestly way better than my ideas for poke-versions of these two (Wigglytuff SB and Trumbeak Leo)
heres a leo from my moirail and i’s setting (<- context for benifit of audience, i dont want to be weird/dumb considering we already discussed this in dms), unit 1303456787/2533745675, aka leo. hes a highly defective whitetail (the highest ranks of ghalnians and those who have elements, similar to draco-morphiads) with no honor. he was abandoned by his squad on some random planet after he got fucked up by its inhabitants, including having most of his tail torn off and his mask’s innards getting irreprably broken, leaving it nonfunctional.
eventually he was picked up by a winter fae named margret and the rest is more or less history. apologies if me assigning a whole story to this leo was bad
fyi blanche is a tox/ghalnian hybrid, shuck is an anon (the elf bros are too) and i cannot, for the LIFE OF ME figure out what to place sugarbeans as (you can check under the ‘benry’ and 'diceLibrarian’ categories on the wiki for a good fit if you want but you dont have to)
