a/n : just found out about this song and watched the lyric video, damn, now i'm here with a prompt. LMAO hope you enjoy this oneshot !

windows down, speakers on full-blast – you and riki were singing along the song, saying the lines with all your heart : "if we go down, then we go down together..." the moment you shared was so mood-lifting and wholesome. you are so happy your new relationship with riki is ongoing healthily and everything is going smoothly.

you faced the open-window shotgun, breathing in all the fresh ocean breeze where you're almost at the beach. riki taps his fingers on the steering wheel, bopping his head slowly to the song. you sighed contentedly, "thanks for coming up with this idea. i never even thought i needed this." you looked at his eyes through the rear-view mirror, his smiling stare melted your insides that you were panicking. you knew you were only a year to the relationship, so getting flustered and cuckoo over each other is still acceptable. "ya, why are you looking at me like that?" you broke your genuine tone to a flustered response to his the moves. he looked back onto the road, chuckling, "what did i do to you? all i did was just look." "yeah, well, guess what, your gaze is making me blush you ogre." you crossed your arms, hiding a smirk as you were avoiding eye contact with him. he snickered, "don't make me blush while driving, i might go nuts." riki was already blushing, rosy cheeks along with the bright sunlight beaming on his seat. you both giggled in response to the tensed but mostly sweet and risky exchanges of flirts.

he rests his hand on his lap, with his left hand steering the wheel. you saw an opportunity to make another move, or did he? he knew you always loved holding hands idly – not in public places, though. well what the heck, you went for it. you gently offered your hand to him as he looked at it, side-eyeing your hand. the corner of his lips curved, taking your hand gently. "you know, we should've let our friends tag along. the more, the merrier." you spoke, caressing his hand. "i don't know, i want to spend this time only with you-" he responded, soft-spoken, "-you would be playing PUBG with the gang and i would be picking out shells from the sea with the unnies if we let them tag along with us." you let out an 'awwww'. "okay, you have a point, that would be fun. next time. i wanna make seashells bracelets with you today." you gripped onto his hand a little tighter than before.

your car passed by a sign, you're here! jeju island. riki turned his head to you, "we're here, _____." you both shared a smile when you suddenly put your hands up, waving it around goofily, "LEZGAUR!".

oh dear.

you left your kitten at your boyfriend’s house, fully aware of what you’ve just committed to.

he, bf!riki, absolutely ADORED cats.

the moment you walk into your lover’s house to hand him your kitten, he’s going googoo gaga over it. grabby hands and all? he even baby talks it with the most lovable eyes you’ve ever seen.

you were unable to look after it due to work, and riki was..unfortunately, your only option. after all, you didn’t wanna break his heart.

but the only problem was that..

well,

your kitten hated him.

it wasn’t the affectional type, and would constantly hiss at anyone who approached it, repeated meows and countless scratches marking their skin. it was? quite stubborn, actually.

but out of every person who attempted to pet it, riki was the most hated one.

your kitten was practically crying for help the moment you abandoned it with this; —so called, evil monster, and you wished you could say sorry. as soon as you leave the house, riki’s already diving into the animal for cuddles, leaving the poor kitten to fight its way out of his arms.

your kitten disliked him for his overly affectionate love, and was most likely gonna risk it all. it really thought it was gonna die between his warmth.

and honestly? you were worried.

riki already knew how much of a feisty kitten it was, but didn’t hold himself back from properly taking it into his arms to hold, fingers painted with claw marks.

it was clear to you riki loved your kitten the most, and you had no clue why. animals loved him, but you always found your boyfriend begging to see your kitten whenever possible,

only to have himself get abused right over again.

but why does he only attach himself to yours?

now you were approaching the entrance to your door after finally finishing up work, pulling up to your driveway only to find the living room lights off.

it had you pause for a second, but continued to exit the vehicle to reach for your door knob, hesitantly turning it with guilt.

god I hope they’re doing okay.

you pondered under your breath, carefully and cautiously beganning to creak the door open, only to poke your head in to search for the two.

and as soon as you do, your eyes had instantly landed on the couch, spotting an afar figure curled up beside it’s arm rest.

his recognizable sleeping position makes you assume it’s your boyfriend, but what really distracts you is the animal in his lap.

riki, your lover, and your kitten, who you dropped off just a few hours ago,

were cuddling on the couch.

the kitten was curled into a ball as it laid it’s head tucked into his chest, sleeping soundly as it’s delicate body remained cradled in his arms.

your boyfriend, on the other hand, had majority of his face covered with bruises, but was comfortably resting against the cushion.

and you, who has your jaw dropped, almost blow away your cover the moment your merely dropping your bags, eyes filled with shock.

riki? and your kitten?

sleeping?? together??

your kitten has never allowed you to hold it in your arms, and now that you’ve finally saw it give in, you never thought it would be riki,

your fucking boyfriend.

even you found the feeling of jealously sprouting in your chest, an expression full of awe lingering on your lips.

and as you examined the two, what even shocked you the most was the obvious common feature they both had.

they both were smiling.

and it was the first time you’ve ever seen your kitten smile like that.

You’re sitting in the crowd amongst a wave of roaring students, parents and teachers. You’re only here for one reason, or rather, one person, but your eyes can’t help themselves as they’re drawn to someone else playing on the court.

Nishimura Riki. You share a few classes with him, so you’re fairly familiar with who he is. He mostly keeps to himself and excels well in the classes that you share, so he doesn’t usually catch your attention. Except when he’s on the court. Due to your..let’s just say connections for now..to the team, you’re actually sitting pretty close to the court so the view you have of Riki is pretty convenient.

Convenient in a way that you can perfectly see how excluded the poor boy is. Standing at the edge of the court, Riki is ignored by not only the opposing team, but his teammates as well. He’s been free for the past ten minutes, and if his team had any sort of mind, they’d pass the ball to him. Guilt dawns on you every time you hear him scream out to his teammates, yelling at them to pass the ball to him, and you frown every time he turns to his coach like a sad puppy. You feel so bad for him, but you can’t do anything about it because of–

“Y/N!” Heeseung jogs up to you from the court, chest drenched in a horrid amount of sweat and hair stuck to his forehead. You hold back a sigh as his eyes are trained on you, resisting the urge to gag at how putrid he smells. You must have blanked out and missed the second quarter call, which is why you’re a little stunned. “Did you see the three pointer I did?” There’s a big smile on his face so you pay him the favour of returning it halfheartedly, despite the desire to push him away from you.

A/N. ! for this event i’m only taking up to 2 prompts per req, but i decided to combine four reqs for this bc it ended up working rlly well. hope you like it! also don’t mind the title skjskd i thought it was kinda cute and fit pretty well 😭

a soft squeal could be heard from rooms away as it left your lips.

riki had just snuck up on you from behind before quickly pulling you into his embrace, your back pressed against his chest. at the unexpected contact, you jumped slightly before attempting to turn around in his arms. however, his strong hold had you trapped in this position, unable to move. so you sighed, resorting to turning your head to look at him instead before giving him a playful glare. he rested his chin on your shoulder before turning his face slightly, placing a soft, apologetic kiss on your cheek.

“i’m sorry for scaring you,” he gave you a small, playful pout.

“it’s okay,” you told him before continuing, “what i’m more frustrated about is the fact that you have me restricted in your arms right here.”

he let out a small chuckle before loosening his hold on you, allowing you some freedom to move.

you turned around to face him, both of you softly locking eyes.

“‘kay, i’m sorry,” he began again, placing his hand on top of your head and ruffling your. “better?”

you squirmed in his hold before stopping his actions, “hey! no! no, stop!” you said between giggles. “this is not better! you’re messing up my hair! nishimura riki!”

laughing at your reaction, he eventually stopped and you glared at him again, even harder this time.

“okay, okay,” he let out, beginning to fix your hair by patting it down. “sorry, my love.”

after a few seconds, he succeeded in returning your hair back to the way it was before, and only a moment later, you watched as his eyes darted to your lips. before you could process, he already had his lips on yours, pecking them softly.

“better now?” he asked after pulling back slightly, voice calm.

you nodded before a smirk made its way to your lips.

you snaked your arms around his neck before quickly pulling him in for another kiss, this time lasting much longer.

he felt himself melt under your touch, kissing you back with equal passion. however, little did he know, you were taking this as an opportunity to get back at him as you continuously and messily brushed all of your fingers through his hair.

when you eventually pulled back, you had to control yourself as you succeeded in stifling your laugh. however, he didn’t miss the way your lips twitched and were being forced into keeping straight. and once you realized he caught on, you couldn’t help but let out a laugh.

“what’s so funny?” he asked you before he noticed your eyes travel up to the top of his head.

turning around to face a mirror, riki quickly noticed the way his hair was now in a mess with each lock of hair out of place.

he turned around, looking at you annoyed, but you didn’t fail to notice the way his lips were now the one holding back a smile.

and before you knew it, riki was chasing you around the room, squeals leaving your lips once again before he eventually caught you from behind and lifted you off of your feet, only causing you to let out more protesting squeals.

and just like that, the day ended with you in his arms, either trying to get at each other’s hair, or exchanging kisses, and you couldn’t have wished for it any other way.
