YOU SAT CURLED UP ON THE COUCH, your phone resting comfortably in your hands, its soft glow reflecting off your smiling face. You could feel your cheeks warming as a small giggle escaped your lips, your heart fluttering as you stared down at the message thread from him. Even after two years of dating online, Heeseung still had this inexplicable effect on you—his words always managing to stir that giddy feeling in your chest. You tapped out a reply quickly, the excitement of the conversation making your fingers fly over the screen.

Just as you hit send, the sound of footsteps echoed through the room, interrupting your blissful bubble. You quickly locked your phone and dropped it onto your lap, trying to appear casual, but you already knew it was too late.

“Still texting your hubby?” Semi’s voice called out from across the room, her teasing tone unmistakable. You glanced up just in time to see her strolling over with a mischievous grin, arms swinging at her sides. She plopped down next to you on the couch without hesitation, grabbing one of the throw pillows and hugging it close to her chest. The way she eyed you was almost predatory—she had caught you red-handed, and she knew it.

Before you could even muster a response, Heesoo appeared right behind her, leaning against the doorway with her arms crossed, eyes gleaming with equal amusement. “Hubby, huh?” she chimed in, her voice smooth and knowing, as if the two had conspired together. She tilted her head, her brow quirking up as she let the word roll off her tongue like it was some sort of inside joke.

You could feel your face heat up instantly, a mix of embarrassment and irritation bubbling up in your chest as they watched you squirm. “He’s not my hubby,” you muttered, trying and failing to sound nonchalant, as if their teasing wasn’t getting to you. You fumbled to close your phone, clutching it tightly in your hands as if it could shield you from the embarrassment. The more you tried to act casual, the more you felt your nerves betray you—your fingers gripping the phone a little too tightly, your posture too stiff.

Semi shot you a side glance, raising her brows as if she didn’t believe a single word you just said. “Uh-huh, sure,” she drawled, her voice dripping with mock disbelief. Her lips quirked up into a sly smile as she nudged your arm, causing you to shift uncomfortably on the couch.

“Soon-to-be, then,” Heesoo added with a smirk, her voice dripping with playful confidence as she sauntered over. She stood in front of you now, hands resting casually on her hips, eyes narrowed like she was about to spill a secret you hadn’t even realized you were keeping.

You rolled your eyes, trying to ignore the way your heart skipped a beat at the suggestion. “Oh, shut up,” you mumbled under your breath, sinking deeper into the cushions as if that could somehow protect you from their relentless teasing. Your words might have sounded dismissive, but the way your lips twitched at the corners betrayed the smile you were holding back.

They weren’t wrong, after all. You had been dating Heeseung for two years now—two years of late-night texts, playful banter, and heart-fluttering moments that made you feel like a teenager all over again. And yet, as much as you adored him, there was still that small detail you couldn’t ignore: you hadn’t met him in person yet. You had never even seen a clear picture of him, not beyond a couple of blurry selfies he’d sent over the years. Sure, they looked good—he looked good—but there was always that tiny, nagging thought in the back of your mind.

“Look at her,” Semi cooed, turning her head towards Heesoo as if to share the victory of seeing you squirm. “She’s blushing.”

You scoffed, running a hand over your face to hide the growing warmth in your cheeks. “I am not,” you protested, knowing full well that you were. The way they both stared at you, amused and smug, only made it worse.

Heesoo, always the bold one, plopped herself on the coffee table directly in front of you, folding her legs beneath her as she leaned forward with that signature teasing smirk. “What’s it gonna take for you to finally meet him, huh?” she asked, voice light but laced with curiosity. “You’ve been together for two years now. Doesn’t it feel like it’s time?”

You shifted in your seat, feeling their gazes burn into you as you struggled to come up with a decent excuse. “I mean, we’ve talked about it
” you started, your voice trailing off as you tried to sound convincing. Truth be told, the idea of meeting him did excite you, but it also made your stomach twist with nerves. What if he wasn’t what you expected? What if he didn’t like you in person? Those doubts, however small, had kept you from pushing the issue.

“Oh, please,” Semi cut in with a roll of her eyes, reaching over to lightly shove your shoulder. “If you’re nervous about it, just admit it. We all know you’re totally whipped for him.”

You sighed, letting your head fall back against the couch as you stared up at the ceiling, their laughter filling the room. “Fine,” you groaned, giving in to their teasing. “Maybe I’m a little nervous, okay?”

“A little?” Semi echoed, her tone full of playful disbelief. “Girl, you’re terrified.”

Heesoo grinned, standing up and stretching her arms over her head. “Don’t worry,” she said, her voice softening just a little, “When you two finally meet, it’s gonna be perfect. And when it happens, we better be the first ones to know, got it?”

You smiled, your heart warming at their relentless support, even if it was wrapped in teasing. “Yeah, yeah, you’ll be the first to know.”

Semi’s gaze was sharp, fixated on you as if she was about to make the most important suggestion of the century. Her brow arched, curiosity and a hint of determination flashing in her eyes. “By the way,” she began, her voice deceptively casual but filled with the weight of her endless curiosity, “why don’t you just ask him to meet up already?”

She leaned forward, elbows resting on her knees, chin propped up by her hands, fully expecting a detailed answer. Semi wasn’t just invested in your relationship with Heeseung—no, she was very, very, very invested. In fact, ever since you mentioned Heeseung, she’d turned into your personal dating detective, always nudging you with questions and advice as if it were her own love life on the line.

You let out a small laugh, nervously shifting under her scrutiny. “Yeah
I mean, I’ve thought about it,” you mumbled, eyes darting down to your phone, the little weight of doubt creeping up on you.

Heesoo, who had been lazily sprawled out on the opposite couch, suddenly let out a loud, exaggerated sigh, her hand dramatically flopping onto her forehead like a character straight out of a soap opera. “Exactly,” she muttered, rolling her eyes for extra effect. “You're not even part of the #hatemenclub anymore, so why not?” Her voice dripped with playful sarcasm, and she shot you a sideways glance, clearly enjoying every second of her role in this drama.

The #hatemenclub. A relic from your high school days—the sacred pact you three made to never, ever fall into the trap of romance. It had been a joking sort of vow, born out of teenage cynicism and a few too many bad rom-coms. And yet, somehow, it stuck. Or at least, it stuck for them.

You, however, had found a loophole: Heeseung. The moment you told them about him, they had teased you endlessly, threatening to kick you out of the “club,” but that day never came. It became more of a running joke now, how you were the only one who had managed to “break the rules” without suffering the consequences.

“I’m still in the club, though,” you tried to defend, your voice soft as you fidgeted with the edge of the blanket draped over your lap. “If we, uh, exclude Heeseung, I mean.”

Semi let out a loud snort, barely managing to stifle her laughter as she nudged you with her elbow. “Yeah, okay, if we exclude Heeseung,” she mimicked, raising her hands in air quotes before leaning back with a knowing smirk. “You’re so still in the club.”

Heesoo rolled her eyes again, this time in a way that felt almost second nature to her. She sat up straighter, her long hair falling over her shoulder as she gave you the most unimpressed look. “Oh, c’mon,” she said, her voice laced with mock exasperation. “You can’t possibly still think you’re in the #hatemenclub after dating a guy for two years.”

You sighed, feeling the heat rise in your cheeks as the two of them continued their relentless teasing. “I’m serious! I’ll—” you paused, feeling the weight of their teasing eyes on you, “I’ll try. I just
I need to ask him first.”

There was a nervous edge to your voice, and you knew they both picked up on it instantly. Your fingers twirled the fabric of your blanket between them, your mind racing with the thought of actually asking Heeseung to meet. It wasn’t that you didn’t want to meet him—it was that, despite everything, the idea still made your stomach flip in a thousand knots.

Meeting him felt like the culmination of two years of virtual feelings—two years of inside jokes, late-night conversations, and building something you couldn’t quite explain. What if reality didn’t match the fantasy?

Semi’s eyes softened for a moment as she watched your nervous fidgeting, though her playful smirk never fully disappeared. “You’ve got this,” she said, her tone light but encouraging, as if this was some grand mission you had to complete. “Just ask him! What’s the worst that could happen?”

You glanced up at her, catching the sparkle of sincerity hidden beneath her teasing. It was rare for Semi to offer advice without an accompanying joke, and you appreciated it more than you’d ever admit out loud.

Heesoo, meanwhile, wasn’t about to let up that easily. She scooted closer, leaning forward with her elbows resting on her knees, her face now mere inches from yours. “Exactly,” she added, her eyes glimmering with amusement. “And when he says yes—and we all know he will—we get to hear all the juicy details first. Don’t even think about hiding anything.”

You couldn’t help but laugh at that, shaking your head as you playfully shoved her away. “I’m not hiding anything!” you protested, your voice coming out more defensively than you intended.

“Mm-hmm,” Heesoo hummed, raising an eyebrow as if to say she didn’t quite believe you. “We’ll see about that.”

The banter continued, filling the room with laughter and lighthearted teasing as you tried, and failed, to convince them you were still a proud member of the #hatemenclub. But deep down, as you glanced at your phone and reread Heeseung’s latest message, the butterflies stirred again. Maybe it was time to take that next step. Maybe
 just maybe, they were right.

For now, you could enjoy the moment—surrounded by the warmth of your best friends and the soft glow of your phone, where Heeseung’s name sat waiting.

THE DAY HAD FINALLY COME, and your heart was racing with a mixture of excitement and nervous energy. You had spent hours preparing, trying to make sure you looked as pretty as possible. Not too much makeup, but just enough to give you a soft, girly look. Your outfit was carefully chosen, a delicate dress that gave off casual yet charming vibes. You didn’t want to overwhelm him, but you also didn’t want to underwhelm, either.

As you approached the small restaurant you had both agreed on, you paused outside the door for a moment, taking a deep breath. The place was cozy, not too fancy, which was perfect since you didn’t want to feel out of place. The fact that it wasn’t crowded was a relief, too—no need for unnecessary pressure.

You opened your phone, fingers shaking slightly as you typed out the message, “Baby, I arrived. Where are you?”

Not even a minute later, the reply popped up on your screen, and you smiled. He’s here.

“I’m wearing a blue shirt, it’s the seat in the corner.”

Your heart did a little flip as you looked around the restaurant, scanning for that blue shirt. And then you saw him, sitting by himself in the far corner of the room, casually leaning back in his chair, glancing at his phone. Excitement bubbled up inside you as you approached, trying to calm the butterflies swirling in your stomach. But something felt off as you got closer. His face—it didn’t quite match the picture.

Sure, the picture he sent had been blurry, but this guy
he looked different. More handsome, yes, but different. You hesitated, standing awkwardly near the table for a second, your mind spinning with doubts. Was this really him?

“Umm... you’re Heeseung, right?” you asked, your voice sounding more timid than you’d hoped. You didn’t want to jump to conclusions, but the feeling gnawed at you.

The guy glanced up from his phone, a small smile playing on his lips. “Yeah, you must be Y/N,” he said, his voice smooth and confident. There was no hint of hesitation in his tone, as if he hadn’t noticed your uncertainty at all.

You felt a small pit of confusion in your stomach. The voice matched. The name matched. But his face... why did he look so different from what you imagined? You couldn’t help but wonder if you’d been catfished—by a ridiculously handsome guy, no less. It didn’t make sense, but the thought was there, lurking in the back of your mind.

You opened your mouth to ask about the photo, to try and figure out the discrepancy, but he cut you off before you could even get the words out. “Can we order first?” he asked, leaning forward slightly, his eyes flickering toward the menu on the table.

You blinked, thrown off by his sudden shift in conversation. “Uhh
sure,” you muttered, feeling slightly deflated. It wasn’t the worst thing in the world to put the awkwardness on hold, but the unease in your chest lingered. He hadn’t even addressed the fact that he looked so different from the picture. Why was he avoiding it?

You glanced down at the menu, but your mind wasn’t really on food. Instead, your eyes kept flickering back to him. His messy hair, styled just enough to look effortlessly good, caught your attention. His features were sharp, his jawline defined. He had this boyish charm about him that made you want to melt right there in the chair.

He’s so much more handsome in person, you thought to yourself, almost feeling embarrassed at the realization. But that made everything more confusing. Why wouldn’t he just send a proper picture? It didn’t add up.

Heeseung glanced up from his own menu, catching your gaze, and you quickly looked away, feeling a flush of heat rush to your cheeks. It was like being thrown back into the early days of your online relationship, back when every text from him made your heart race. Except now, you were sitting across from him, and it felt
 real.

Too real.

But the unease was still there. You fiddled with the edge of the napkin in your lap, trying to figure out how to ask the question without sounding paranoid. Your mind raced through a dozen different possibilities. Old photo? Bad camera quality?

“So... about that picture you sent,” you finally managed to say, your voice soft, testing the waters. You lifted your gaze to meet his again, trying to keep your expression neutral.

Heeseung looked at you for a moment, his eyes studying your face, but before you could get any further, he leaned back in his chair with a casual smile. “Yeah, I know, the picture wasn’t the best,” he admitted, running a hand through his hair in that effortless way guys always do. “I’m not great with selfies.”

The way he said it made you pause. He didn’t seem fazed at all by your question, almost as if he expected it. His easygoing demeanor threw you off, and for a moment, you felt silly for even doubting him. Maybe you were overthinking it.

“Ahh,” you nodded slowly, trying to hide the relief creeping in. “I guess that makes sense.”

He gave you a smile, and suddenly, the awkwardness started to melt away. It wasn’t perfect, not yet, but the butterflies in your stomach shifted from nervous to something lighter. You glanced down at the menu again, pretending to be interested in the food, but your mind was still buzzing with thoughts of him—this real, handsome Heeseung sitting in front of you.

As the waiter approached to take your orders, you couldn’t help but sneak another glance at him. His hair, the way it fell just slightly over his forehead, his relaxed posture, the way his fingers tapped idly against the table. You felt a tiny smile tug at your lips. Maybe it wasn’t exactly how you imagined it, but something about this moment—awkward and all—felt right.

And the butterflies? Well, they were still there. But now, they were dancing a little differently.

As you stared down at the menu, the words began to blur together. The pressure of the moment was getting to you, and suddenly, nothing made sense. You hadn’t expected to freeze like this—after all, how hard could it be to choose something off a menu? But the truth was, this was your first time at the restaurant, and the foreign names of the dishes only added to your mounting anxiety.

You could feel the heat rising to your cheeks as the waiter approached your table, notepad in hand. Your heart began to race, and the butterflies, which had been fluttering harmlessly before, now felt like a storm of nerves. What if I order the wrong thing? What if he thinks I’m weird?

Just as you were about to blurt out something—anything—your panic was cut short by the gentle sensation of a hand grasping yours. You blinked in surprise, eyes widening as you looked up from the menu to see Heeseung’s hand resting over yours on the table, his fingers curling lightly around yours. The warmth of his touch sent a calming wave through you, as if he could feel your nervousness and knew exactly how to soothe it.

“Hey, it’s okay,” he said softly, his voice steady and reassuring. His thumb brushed over the back of your hand in the most subtle, comforting way. You couldn’t help but feel your pulse slow down just a little, the chaos inside you quieting as he gave you a small, understanding smile. It was the kind of smile that said, I’ve got you.

He let out a soft sigh, as if he knew this was overwhelming for you, and then, without skipping a beat, he turned to the waiter. “We’ll have the grilled salmon for her,” he said confidently, his tone polite but decisive. “And I’ll take the steak, medium rare, please.”

The way he ordered without hesitation, without even needing to ask what you wanted, left you absolutely stunned. You couldn’t help but stare at him for a second, your mind racing to catch up. It took a moment for it to sink in—he had remembered. He had remembered what you liked, something you had mentioned casually during one of your countless late-night conversations online. Something so small, so fleeting, and yet, here he was, recalling it with such ease as if it had always been on his mind.

As the waiter walked away, you were left speechless, the butterflies in your stomach doing somersaults now for an entirely different reason. You hadn’t just lucked out with a handsome guy—you had hit the jackpot.

Sitting across from you was the same Heeseung you’d spent the last two years talking to, laughing with, dreaming about. Only now, he was real, and somehow, better than you had imagined. The boy you’d only known through texts and blurry pictures was suddenly flesh and blood, and he was everything—handsome, cute, charming, thoughtful—and all yours.

“Did you really just
remember that?” you asked softly, still a bit in awe, your hand still tingling from his touch. You tried to hide the smile tugging at the corners of your lips, but it was impossible. The butterflies had taken over now, and all you could feel was that giddy, almost dizzying sense of affection.

Heeseung leaned back in his chair, shrugging slightly but with a teasing glint in his eyes. “Of course. It’s not like you ever shut up about how much you love salmon,” he teased, his voice light and playful. He smirked a little, clearly enjoying the fact that he’d surprised you.

You felt a laugh bubble up from your chest, shaking your head at how effortlessly he put you at ease. “Well
maybe I mentioned it once or twice,” you admitted, a playful edge creeping into your voice.

His eyes met yours, and for a moment, the world outside of your little bubble seemed to disappear. The way he was looking at you—like he had been waiting for this moment just as much as you had—made your heart race all over again. It was as if everything you had built over the last two years was now culminating in this one perfect evening.

Before you could lose yourself entirely in the moment, the waiter reappeared, placing your plates down in front of you. The delicious aroma of the food filled the air, but your attention was still on Heeseung. Even as the waiter left, you barely glanced at your food, too caught up in the way he smiled at you across the table.

He picked up his fork, but before he dug into his steak, he gave you a knowing look. “You’re still staring at me,” he pointed out with a chuckle, his voice dripping with that teasing affection that made your heart skip a beat.

You blinked, flustered, quickly picking up your own fork to hide the fact that, yes, you had been completely lost in thought. “I’m not staring!” you protested, though the blush on your cheeks probably gave you away. You poked at your salmon, trying to focus, but your thoughts were still a mess of emotions—excitement, disbelief, and that growing sense of affection that felt even stronger now that he was here, in front of you.

Heeseung laughed softly, shaking his head. “Sure, sure,” he said, clearly not believing you. “But, you know, I kind of like it.” He shot you a wink, and just like that, the butterflies were back in full force, making your heart do flips all over again.

THE DOOR TO YOUR SHARED ROOM HADN'T EVEN FULLY CLOSED BEHIND YOU WHEN, Semi popped out from behind her desk like a rabbit springing from its burrow. Her eyes were wide with excitement, her whole body practically vibrating with curiosity. You should’ve expected it—Semi was never one to wait for gossip, especially when it concerned something as juicy as your first offline date with Heeseung.

“So, so, so—how did it go?” she asked, her voice pitched high with enthusiasm as she bounced on her toes. It was like she’d been holding in all her questions for hours, just waiting for you to walk through that door. You hadn’t even had a chance to put your bag down before she was in front of you, blocking your path, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

With a sigh, you dropped onto your bed, letting the soft mattress swallow you up for a second. “We talked and ate,” you muttered, trying to play it cool. The truth was, the date had left your heart in shambles, but you weren’t ready to share every detail just yet. You needed a moment to process it all, to figure out how you felt now that the boy you’d been dating for two years online had finally become more than just a name on your phone.

Semi, however, wasn’t about to let you off that easily. She let out an exaggerated scoff, folding her arms over her chest as she stared down at you, her brows raised in disbelief. “Only that? No kisses? No hugs? Nothing?” Her tone was mockingly disappointed, and she threw her hands up in the air as if you had committed the gravest sin by not locking lips with him. “I expected more from you, Y/N!”

You rolled your eyes, trying to suppress the smile tugging at the corners of your lips. “It was our first time meeting offline,” you said, your voice defensive as you sat up slightly, propping yourself up on your elbows. “Give me a break. We needed to, you know, talk like normal people first.”

But Semi wasn’t buying it. She huffed, plopping down beside you on the bed with a dramatic sigh. “Yeah, but you’ve literally been dating for two years,” she stressed, leaning in closer with that signature mischievous grin of hers. “You’d think you two would’ve been all over each other by now!”

You felt your cheeks grow warm at her words. She wasn’t exactly wrong, but still—it was overwhelming enough to finally see Heeseung in person, to hear his voice without the filter of a screen between you. The thought of doing anything more intimate, in public no less, felt like it would’ve sent your nervous system into a complete shutdown.

“Heeseung's not
he’s not like that,” you muttered, brushing a hand through your hair as you tried to deflect. But Semi, ever persistent, was already on to her next question.

“So, was he cute though?” she asked, wiggling her eyebrows with a teasing smile. Her eyes gleamed with mischief as she poked your arm, clearly enjoying how flustered you were becoming. She knew you too well—knew exactly how to get under your skin.

You cleared your throat, trying to muster up a calm, composed response. “He looked
” You trailed off, unsure of how to put into words just how ridiculously handsome he had been. The way his messy hair framed his face, the effortless confidence in the way he carried himself, the warmth in his eyes that had made your heart race all over again—it was almost too much to describe.

But before you could finish, Semi leaned in even closer, practically vibrating with excitement. “He looked what?” she teased, her voice dragging out the question. “Handsome? Gorgeous? Like a total heartthrob?”

You groaned, burying your face in your hands. “Okay, fine!” you finally relented, your voice muffled through your palms. “He’s really handsome, okay? Like
ridiculously handsome. But—” You lifted your head to glare playfully at her. “Don’t make me sound like I’m simping for him.”

Semi let out a loud, satisfied laugh, clapping her hands together as if she had won some unspoken game. “Oh my God,” she giggled, leaning back onto her elbows with a grin so wide it practically lit up the room. “You totally are simping for him! Admit it, Y/N!”

You felt a flood of butterflies at her words. Maybe she was right. Maybe you were simping a little. But could you really blame yourself? You’d spent two years falling for Heeseung’s charm through a screen, and now that you’d finally met him in person, it felt like all of those feelings were amplified tenfold.

Still, you weren’t about to let Semi get the last word. With a playful roll of your eyes, you grabbed one of your pillows and lightly swatted her with it. “Alright, alright, enough!” you said, trying to suppress your own laughter. “Yes, he’s cute. Yes, I like him. Happy now?”

Semi dodged the pillow with a laugh, her eyes twinkling as she stood up from the bed and made her way back to her desk. “Oh, I’m more than happy,” she said, smirking as she glanced over her shoulder at you. “But the real question is—when are you gonna kiss him?”

Your eyes widened, and you immediately threw the pillow at her again, missing by a mile. “Semi!”

She cackled, her laughter filling the room as you both dissolved into fits of giggles. And even as you buried your face in your hands again, cheeks burning with embarrassment, you couldn’t help but feel a little lighter, a little more excited about what was to come.

But then, your phone buzzed in your hand. The screen lit up with Heeseung’s name, and immediately, a surge of excitement and nervousness hit you like a wave. Your heart skipped a beat, but then you froze. Semi was still there, and you knew her well enough to know that she would pounce on any opportunity to tease you mercilessly if she saw Heeseung’s name on your phone.

You glanced at her, quickly assessing your options. The playful glint in her eyes already hinted that she was curious. There was no way you'd have a peaceful conversation with him if she was around.

With a sigh, you shot her a glance. “I’ll go take this call,” you said, casually waving your phone as if it were nothing. “It must be a job offer.”

The lie came out so smoothly that even you were shocked by how easily it slipped off your tongue. Semi didn’t question it either, though she narrowed her eyes suspiciously for a second before shrugging and turning her attention back to her phone.

Relieved, you swiftly exited the room, pulling the door behind you as quietly as possible to ensure she wouldn’t follow. Once out of the room, you made your way down the hallway, trying to find a quiet spot where you could talk to him in peace. With one last look over your shoulder to confirm you weren’t being spied on, you finally pressed the phone to your ear.

“H-hello?” you stammered slightly, your voice a bit softer than usual. The weight of knowing what he looked like in person now—it made this whole conversation feel different, heavier, in a way that made your heart race.

“Hey,” Heeseung’s familiar voice greeted you from the other end, and the sound immediately sent a rush of warmth through your chest. “You home?”

You hesitated for a second, quickly glancing around to make sure no one was eavesdropping. “J-just reached,” you finally responded, trying to keep your voice steady, though the nervousness crept into your tone. Now that you knew what he looked like—his real face, the way his smile tugged at the corners of his lips—it was harder to keep your composure.

There was a brief pause on the other end. “What about you?” you asked, attempting to regain some control over your fluttering heart.

“I reached too,” he said simply, though the awkwardness in his voice was undeniable. It wasn’t the same as it had been before you’d met him. Something had shifted. Maybe this was how online couples felt after meeting for the first time—unsure of how to navigate the new dynamic, the new reality of knowing the person behind the screen in a way you hadn’t before.

You leaned against the cool wall in the hallway, running a hand through your hair as you tried to figure out what to say next. The silence that followed was thick with unspoken questions—Did you have fun? Did I make a good impression? Will we meet again? But none of those questions made it past your lips.

Instead, you both lingered in the silence, the awkwardness palpable but not entirely uncomfortable. It was almost endearing in a way, knowing that you both felt the same jittery nerves after your first offline date.

“So, um
are we gonna keep doing this?” you finally asked, your voice quiet, but the question was bold enough to fill the space between you. “Meeting up offline, I mean?”

You could almost hear the smile in his voice when he responded. “I hope so,” he said, his tone soft but filled with sincerity. “I liked seeing you in person.”

Your heart fluttered at his words, and you smiled to yourself, feeling the butterflies you thought had calmed down stir up again. The simple statement carried so much more weight now that you had shared a meal together, exchanged shy glances, and actually existed in the same space, side by side.

“Me too,” you whispered, almost as if admitting it out loud would somehow make the moment more real. And in that moment, as awkward as it was, you couldn’t help but feel that this was the start of something new—something that stretched beyond the screen, into the real world where you both could truly be together.

The silence returned, but this time, it was softer, more comfortable, as if the awkwardness had melted away, leaving behind a warmth that lingered long after the call would end.

“I guess
I’ll talk to you later?” you said after a beat, your voice lighter now, a smile tugging at your lips.

“Yeah,” he replied. “But not too much later, okay?”

You laughed softly, feeling the last bit of tension slip away. “Not too much later,” you promised, before finally hanging up, the warmth of his voice still lingering in your chest as you walked back to your room.

The moment you stepped back into the room, Semi was there, perched on her bed, looking like she had been waiting for this exact moment. Her arms were crossed, and that mischievous grin was unmistakable—she wasn’t buying your ‘job offer’ story for a second.

“So
” she dragged the word out, her eyes narrowing playfully as you tried your best to keep a straight face. “Was that really a job offer?”

You sighed, feeling the heat rush to your cheeks as you tried to avoid eye contact. "Yeah, sure, let's call it that," you muttered, slipping your phone into your pocket as you moved towards your bed, hoping she'd let it go. But you knew better—Semi was never one to back off when there was potential for gossip, especially when it involved your love life.

She let out a dramatic scoff. “Come on, you can’t fool me. You were talking to Heeseung, weren’t you?” She jumped up from her bed, practically bouncing over to you, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. “Tell me everything—what did he say? Did he ask to meet up again? Were you blushing the entire time like you are now?”

You groaned, burying your face in your hands as you felt the heat in your cheeks deepen. “It wasn’t anything special, okay?” you mumbled through your hands, though you knew your attempt to downplay the call wouldn’t work. “We just
talked about getting home, that’s all.”

Semi was relentless, of course. “Uh-huh, sure,” she teased, pulling your hands away from your face so she could get a proper look at you. “You’re totally hiding something. I can see it! You’ve got that weird ‘I just talked to my crush’ glow. Did he say something cute? Oh my god, he did, didn’t he?”

You couldn’t help but laugh at how easily she read you, and finally, you gave in, sitting down on your bed with a defeated sigh. “Fine, fine. He was sweet, okay? It was just a normal conversation, but it felt
 I don’t know. Different now, I guess?”

Semi raised an eyebrow, sitting beside you with her full attention. “Different how?” she asked, her voice softer now, less teasing and more curious.

“Well,” you began, thinking back to the way Heeseung’s voice had sounded over the phone, a mix of awkwardness and warmth. “It’s just
after seeing him in person, everything feels a little more real, you know? Like, all this time we’ve been talking online, but now it’s not just a screen between us anymore. I’ve actually met him, and it’s
weird but in a good way?”

Semi grinned. “So, you’re saying you’re falling even harder for him now, huh?”

You rolled your eyes, though you couldn’t hide the smile tugging at your lips. “I mean, he’s really cute in person,” you admitted, your heart fluttering just at the thought of how Heeseung had looked when you met. “And he remembered what I liked to eat, which was unexpected and kind of
 sweet.”

Semi gasped dramatically, clutching her chest as if she were swooning. “He remembered your favorite food? Oh, girl, you’ve hit the jackpot!” She nudged you playfully, her excitement infectious. “What’s next, huh? When’s your next date? Are we already planning the wedding?”

You laughed, shoving her lightly. “Calm down! We haven’t even planned a second date yet.”

“But you will,” she said, her grin widening as if she were already planning everything out in her head. “I mean, how could you not? You’ve been talking to this guy for two years, and now that you’ve met in person, the sparks are basically flying!”

You blushed again, but this time, it wasn’t just because of the teasing. Semi wasn’t wrong. Something had shifted, and the idea of seeing Heeseung again now that you’d met face-to-face made your heart race in the best way possible.

“Well, I don’t know,” you said softly, feeling a bit shy as you thought about it. “I guess we’ll see what happens. But yeah
I think I’d like to see him again.”

Semi squealed, throwing her arms around you in a sudden hug. “Yay! I’m so happy for you! My best friend is getting married!”

“Stop!” you protested, laughing as you wriggled out of her embrace. “Not yet, anyway.”

“Not yet,” she echoed, wagging her eyebrows at you. “But soon, I bet.”

YOU STOOD AT THE ENTRANCE OF HEESEUNG'S APARTMENT, clutching the bouquet of flowers nervously. Your heart was hammering in your chest, and a million thoughts rushed through your head. Was this really a good idea? Going to a guy’s place you had only met offline once? What if he turned out to be
well, something out of a true crime story? Your mind raced with irrational fears, imagining worst-case scenarios, but then you shook your head.

No, it’s Heeseung, you reminded yourself. The same guy you’d been talking to for two years. The guy who remembered your favorite food and texted you goodnight religiously. You weren’t going to let a silly rush of nerves ruin this. Besides, wasn’t this the next step? Taking things from the screen to real life?

Taking a deep breath, you pressed the button for his apartment number. A small buzz rang through, followed by a few agonizing moments of silence until you heard footsteps approaching from the other side. When the door finally swung open, you were greeted with the sight of Heeseung, looking as relaxed as ever. He was dressed in a simple black t-shirt and shorts, the definition of casual, but somehow he still looked like he had stepped straight out of a magazine photoshoot.

You blinked for a second, momentarily stunned. When did you become such a simp?

“Come in, please,” Heeseung’s voice broke through your thoughts. His smile was warm and welcoming, and before you could even process what was happening, he was taking the bouquet from your hands.

“Crap—wait, I mean—this is for you!” you stammered, awkwardly snatching the flowers back only to hand them to him again. The exchange was so clumsy that you both burst into laughter, the tension easing ever so slightly.

"You really didn’t have to," he said softly, holding the flowers as if they were the most precious thing in the world.

“I did have to,” you insisted, your voice sheepish. “It’s my first time here. Showing up empty-handed just felt
 wrong.”

Heeseung chuckled at your seriousness, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he leaned down and pinched your cheeks lightly. “You sound just like you do online,” he teased, flashing that signature smile that made your heart race.

“Hey, quit it,” you protested weakly, swatting his hand away, but the blush creeping up your neck betrayed you. You were still getting used to seeing him in person, but that didn’t stop the familiar warmth from spreading through your chest at his touch.

The two of you stood there, just outside his apartment, for what felt like longer than necessary. It wasn’t until Heeseung cleared his throat that you realized you were still blocking the doorway.

“Right, shoes off,” you mumbled to yourself, quickly stepping out of your sneakers as you followed him inside. His apartment was small but cozy, with a lived-in feel that made you instantly relax. You noticed a few potted plants by the window, a couple of books scattered across the coffee table, and a faint scent of something familiar—ramen?—lingering in the air.

You perched yourself on his couch, feeling a little too aware of your movements as you sat down. The cushions were soft, and the space felt intimate. Your eyes darted around the room, trying to focus on anything but your own nerves. From the corner of your eye, you could see Heeseung moving about in the kitchen, preparing something.

After a few minutes, he returned with two steaming bowls of ramen, setting them down on the table in front of you. "Sorry, I didn’t have time to prepare anything fancy,” he apologized, scratching the back of his neck with an awkward smile. “Hope this is okay?”

You couldn’t help but laugh, the tension in your chest unraveling at how normal it all felt. “Are you kidding? This is perfect,” you reassured him, reaching for the chopsticks. “Nothing beats instant ramen, especially when you’re too lazy to cook.”

Heeseung laughed along with you, sitting down next to you on the couch. He was close enough that you could feel the warmth radiating from him, but not so close that it felt overwhelming. It was nice. Comfortable. Almost like the two of you had done this a hundred times before.

He turned on a movie—some romantic comedy you’d both agreed on—and as the opening credits rolled, you found yourself stealing glances at him. The way he absentmindedly blew on his ramen before taking a bite, his brow furrowed in concentration like it was the most important task in the world. He was so focused, so natural, and it made you smile without even realizing it.

But when you dared to look over again, you caught him doing the same—his eyes already on you. The two of you locked eyes for a moment, chopsticks hovering in mid-air, before quickly looking away, your cheeks burning.

You could hear him chuckle softly beside you, and that only made you blush harder. It was awkward, but in the most endearing way. You were both adjusting to this new reality, trying to navigate the uncharted waters of an offline relationship.

The movie played in the background, but neither of you paid much attention to it. The real entertainment was the silent communication happening between the two of you—the subtle glances, the shy smiles, the way your knees brushed against each other accidentally, and how neither of you moved away afterward.

You took another bite of ramen, trying to focus on the noodles instead of the fluttering in your stomach, but it was impossible to ignore how close Heeseung was. Every time he shifted slightly or laughed at something in the movie, your heart skipped a beat.

Halfway through the movie, you found yourself glancing at him again—only this time, you caught him looking at you too. This time, instead of looking away, you both just
stayed like that. His eyes softened, and for a brief moment, the world outside of this small, cozy apartment disappeared.

It was just you and him, sharing an awkward, silly, but undeniably romantic second date in the simplest way possible. You couldn’t remember the last time you’d felt this content, this happy. And as Heeseung’s lips curled into a small smile, you couldn’t help but think that this—this quiet, unspoken connection—was worth every bit of awkwardness.

Maybe this offline thing wasn’t so bad after all.

But then you were proven wrong yet again as a sharp sting of the hot ramen hitting your skin made you gasp as you shot up from your seat, dropping the cup back onto the table. “Ow
” you winced, instinctively pulling at your shirt where the soup had splashed. The yellow-ish broth stained your top instantly, spreading in a not-so-fashionable blotch across your chest. Your heart sank.

Before you could even process the situation, Heeseung had already grabbed a glass of water from the table and, in a flash, poured it over the stained area, dousing you in the process.

You froze, eyes wide in disbelief as the cold water seeped through your shirt. “What
what are you doing?” you squeaked, half laughing, half mortified.

“I—I thought it would help cool it down!" Heeseung stammered, his eyes wide with genuine panic, clearly unsure if he'd done the right thing. “Are you okay? Did it burn you badly?”

You blinked a few times, the absurdity of the situation finally sinking in. The date had gone from mildly awkward to full-blown disaster in a matter of seconds. "I’m fine... just soaked." You looked down at the mess of ramen and water now pooled on the floor and clinging to your ruined shirt. Embarrassment surged through you like a wave.

"I'm so sorry," you mumbled, your voice small as you glanced up at him, your cheeks burning.

Heeseung, however, didn’t seem fazed at all by the chaos. In fact, a soft chuckle escaped his lips as he rubbed the back of his neck, shaking his head. “No, no, don’t be. It’s not your fault. It happens. We’re good.”

You bit your lip, still feeling like a complete klutz. “But... I ruined the date.”

Heeseung stepped closer, gently placing a reassuring hand on your arm. “Hey, it’s just ramen. I’m not mad. Accidents happen. Besides," he added, his lips curling into a playful smile, "it’s kinda memorable, don’t you think?”

You let out a nervous laugh, but the tight knot of embarrassment in your stomach refused to ease. “Yeah, memorable as in me looking like a complete mess.”

His eyes softened as he squeezed your hand. “You don’t look like a mess. But
you should probably change. It must be super uncomfortable.” He winced, eyeing your soaked shirt.

You glanced down at your shirt, the bright orange stain glaring back at you, and let out a resigned sigh. “Yeah
 this isn't exactly ideal.”

“Wait here. I’ll grab you something,” Heeseung said before quickly heading toward his bedroom. He disappeared for a moment, rummaging around, and you stood awkwardly, trying not to feel like a complete fool. The entire scene played in your head on repeat. Could this date have gone any worse? First, the awkwardness of meeting offline, now this?

Heeseung returned, holding out a neatly folded oversized t-shirt. “Here, it might be a little big, but it’ll be more comfortable than a wet, ramen-soaked top.”

You hesitated, looking between him and the shirt. It felt weird to wear his clothes, but then again, what choice did you have? You took it from him with a shy smile. “Thanks
”

“Bathroom’s that way,” he gestured toward the hallway, scratching the back of his neck. “Take your time.”

You nodded and walked toward the bathroom, feeling a bit self-conscious as you clutched the t-shirt to your chest. Once inside, you peeled off your wet shirt, the smell of ramen clinging to the fabric. You sighed, staring at yourself in the mirror for a moment. How had you managed to turn such a simple date into a complete disaster?

Pulling Heeseung’s oversized t-shirt over your head, you were surprised at how soft and comfortable it was. It smelled faintly like him—clean and warm, with a hint of cologne. You couldn’t help but feel a little flutter in your chest at the thought of wearing his clothes. It was oddly intimate.

You took a deep breath and opened the bathroom door, stepping out into the living room where Heeseung was waiting. As soon as he saw you, his eyes widened, and a deep blush crept up his neck to his cheeks.

“What? Is it bad?” you asked, feeling your face heat up under his gaze.

Heeseung shook his head quickly, though he seemed a little lost for words. “No, no... you look... you look really cute,” he mumbled, his voice dropping a notch as he rubbed the back of his neck again. The sight of you in his oversized t-shirt had clearly caught him off guard.

You felt your heart skip a beat at his words. “Oh
” was all you managed to say, feeling a mix of embarrassment and something else—something warm that spread from your chest to your cheeks.

“Sorry, I mean, I didn’t expect—uh—anyway, you’re good, right?” Heeseung cleared his throat, quickly changing the subject to save both of you from further awkwardness.

You nodded, tugging at the hem of the t-shirt. “Yeah, this is
way better, thank you.” You paused, biting your lip before adding, “Sorry again for ruining the date.”

Heeseung shook his head, stepping closer to you, his expression soft. “Y/N, you didn’t ruin anything. It’s just ramen, seriously. Besides
” He smiled, his voice growing softer, “I kind of like this. It feels real. I mean, we’ve been talking for two years, but this... this is different. It’s nice.”

Your heart fluttered at his words, and suddenly, the awkwardness of the situation didn’t feel so bad anymore. You met his eyes, feeling a warmth settle between the two of you. Maybe this date wasn’t perfect, but it was real. It was messy, and awkward, and human.

And somehow, that made it feel right.

“Okay,” you said quietly, a small smile tugging at your lips. “Maybe it wasn’t so bad after all.”

Heeseung grinned, his dimple showing as he teased, “Besides, you still owe me another date. One without any ramen casualties.”

You laughed, feeling the tension lift. “Deal. But next time, no ramen.”

“Deal,” he repeated, his eyes twinkling as he glanced at you in his t-shirt. “But you might have to keep that shirt. It looks too good on you.”

Your face flushed again, but this time, the embarrassment was replaced by something softer, something sweeter.

“I should leave,” you muttered, letting out a heavy sigh as the reality of the night settled in.

“Already?” Heeseung asked, a hint of disappointment lacing his voice. The look on his face tugged at your heart, a mix of longing and vulnerability that made it hard to stand your ground.

“It’s getting late,” you said softly, though the truth was that you didn’t want to leave—not yet. The air between you was charged, electric with the unspoken feelings that had been simmering just beneath the surface. You hesitated at the door, your hand resting on the knob, knowing this moment was slipping away.

But just as you were about to step outside, you felt Heeseung’s warm hand gently but firmly grasp your wrist, pulling you back into the cozy space of his apartment. Your back hit the wall softly, and the breath caught in your throat as you looked up at him, surprise etched on your features.

“W-what are you
?” you stammered, your heart racing.

His expression mirrored your own, a blend of nervousness and determination. “Can we—can we kiss before you leave? It’s okay if you refuse, after all, we’ve just
”

His words faded as you nodded, the fluttering of your heart drowning out any hesitation. The tension between you felt palpable, hanging in the air like a fragile bubble ready to burst. He didn’t need another invitation; he was leaning closer, and in an instant, your lips met.

You could feel the warmth radiating from his body, his hand finding its way to the back of your head, cradling you as he kissed you with an intensity that left you breathless. Your fingers instinctively tangled in his hair, the soft strands slipping through your fingers as you leaned into him, surrendering to the moment.

It was everything you had dreamt of—sweet, passionate, and full of an unspoken promise. His lips moved against yours, gentle yet urgent, a blend of longing and affection. The world outside faded away; it was just the two of you, lost in each other.

As he pulled away, a thin line of saliva connected your mouths, a testament to the fervor of your kiss. Your foreheads rested together, both of you gasping for breath, the intensity of the moment still lingering in the air. His arms wrapped securely around you, holding you close as if he were afraid to let go.

“You taste
sweet,” he murmured, his breath warm against your lips.

“But we just ate spicy ramen,” you replied, a soft laugh escaping your lips, mingling with the lightness of the moment.

“True,” he conceded, a teasing smile playing at the corners of his mouth. “But your lips taste sweet.”

“Stop,” you muttered, the heat of embarrassment flooding your cheeks. You couldn’t help but bury your face in your hands, shyly hiding from his gaze. The reality of what had just happened washed over you, mixing exhilaration with a wave of shyness that made your heart race all over again.

Heeseung chuckled softly, clearly amused by your reaction. “Hey, hey, look at me,” he urged gently, reaching out to pull your hands away from your face. His fingers brushed against your skin, a tender caress that sent shivers down your spine. “You okay?”

You nodded, a shy smile peeking through your hands as you met his eyes, the warmth of his gaze melting away your insecurities. “Yeah, just
 that was unexpected.”

“Unexpected, but good, right?” Heeseung said, his voice low and sincere, a small grin lighting up his face. “Because I was definitely expecting it to be the highlight of my night.”

Your heart swelled at his words, the sweetness of the moment flooding your senses. “Yeah, definitely a highlight,” you echoed softly, and the sincerity in your voice made him smile even wider.

“Then how about a second round? Before you leave?” Heeseung teased, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

You laughed, playfully rolling your eyes. “You’re incorrigible, you know that?”

“Just making sure we make the most of the time we have,” he replied with a cheeky grin.

THE DAY YOU KNEW WAS COMING HAD FINALLY ARRIVED — Heeseung was about to meet your two best friends, Semi and Heesoo. And while Semi had been excited to finally get a face-to-face with your boyfriend, Heesoo had expressed nothing but suspicion. After all, dating online for two years and only seeing each other in person for a few months? It was enough to make her raise an eyebrow—and ask questions. Lots of questions.

You sat in a cozy corner of a bustling cafĂ©, the soft hum of conversations and clinking cups providing a calming background, though it didn’t do much to ease the nervous flutter in your stomach. You stole a glance at Heeseung, sitting beside you, his posture a little too stiff as he absentmindedly traced the rim of his cup with his finger. He was trying to act cool, but you could tell he was feeling the pressure.

On the other side of the table, Semi and Heesoo sat like the unofficial board of inquiry. Semi was leaning forward with a grin that made her look like she was ready to pounce on Heeseung with curiosity, while Heesoo leaned back, arms crossed, her sharp gaze already sizing him up. It was like a scene from a movie—only this time, it was your boyfriend in the hot seat.

Semi was the first to break the ice, her eyes twinkling with amusement as she propped her chin on her hand. “Soo
Heeseung,” she began, drawing out his name playfully, “we’ve heard a lot about you. But you know how it is—we’ve gotta see for ourselves. So, first things first—what’s your love language? Is it words of affirmation? Acts of service? And—be honest—have you ever written her a love letter?”

Heeseung blinked, clearly taken off guard by the unexpected question, but a smile soon crept onto his face as he rubbed the back of his neck. “Love language? Uh, I’d say physical touch
and maybe quality time. But, uh, no love letters yet. I’m more of a... text message kind of guy.”

Semi’s grin widened. “Text message? Oh, come on! What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever texted her, then? Like, we’re talking Shakespearean levels of swoon-worthy.”

You stifled a laugh, burying your face in your hands as Heeseung scratched his head, looking almost bashful. “Well, I don’t know about Shakespeare
but I did once write her this really cheesy line about how her smile makes my heart race.”

Semi let out a dramatic gasp, clutching her heart as if she were swooning. “Oh my god, Heeseung! How do you even deal with all that smoothness, huh?” she teased, turning to you with a wink.

You could feel your face heat up, and you nudged her playfully. “Stop, you’re making him blush!”

But Semi wasn’t done yet. “Alright, real talk now—what’s her weirdest habit that you’ve noticed since meeting in person? Spill it, we won’t tell.”

Heeseung chuckled, his body relaxing slightly as the conversation started to take a lighter turn. “Weirdest habit? Hm
she talks in her sleep. Like, full-on conversations. The first time I heard it, I thought she was awake, but nope. Just dreaming.”

You shot Heeseung a mock glare, covering your face in embarrassment. “Heeseung!”

Semi burst into laughter, clapping her hands. “That is so cute! What does she say? Is she giving TED talks in her sleep or something?”

Heeseung laughed along, shaking his head. “I wish. Usually, it’s just random stuff about food or
her phone charger. One time she asked me if I could ‘bring her the moon,’ and I had no idea if I should answer or not.”

You groaned, hiding behind your hands. “Why are you doing this to me?”

Heeseung grinned, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he leaned in close to you. “Because it’s adorable, that’s why.”

Before you could protest further, Heesoo, who had been quietly observing, finally cleared her throat, signaling it was her turn. She straightened in her seat, her expression more serious than Semi’s as she locked eyes with Heeseung. “Alright, enough of the cutesy stuff. Let’s get to the real questions.”

Semi rolled her eyes playfully, but Heeseung straightened up, clearly sensing that this was going to be more intense. You bit your lip, dreading whatever Heesoo was about to throw at him.

“So,” Heesoo began, her voice calm but firm, “two years of dating online. That’s a long time. How did you know she wasn’t, you know, catfishing you?”

The question hung in the air, and you shot Heesoo a look that screamed, Really? But Heeseung just laughed, easing the tension.

“Well, I mean, we sent pictures sometimes, so I was pretty sure she was real,” he said with a grin. “But, honestly, even if she was catfishing me, I’d probably still fall for her voice.”

Semi made a fake gagging sound. “Oh my god, this is too much. You guys are like a Hallmark movie come to life.”

Heesoo, however, wasn’t satisfied yet. “Okay, let’s say you two stay together and get serious. Like, really serious. How do you plan to handle long-distance, or are you gonna move closer to each other? What’s your five-year plan here?”

The intensity of the question made your heart race. You hadn’t even fully discussed long-term plans with Heeseung yet—at least not in any serious detail. But Heeseung didn’t miss a beat.

“I think long-distance isn’t something we can avoid entirely, but we’ve made it work for two years already. It’ll be challenging, but I’m willing to put in the effort. And as for moving
well, it’s something we’ll have to talk about, but I’m open to whatever’s best for both of us.”

Heesoo tilted her head, studying his answer. “So you’d move? Leave your life behind for her?”

Heeseung nodded, his gaze unwavering. “If it made sense for us and it was the best decision, yeah. I’d move. I want to make sure she’s happy, no matter where that takes us.”

You felt your heart flutter at his words, and Semi sighed dramatically. “Okay, okay, Heeseung, you’re setting the bar way too high for other guys.”

But Heesoo wasn’t done yet. “Alright, one last question.” She leaned forward, her eyes narrowing slightly. “What’s your biggest flaw? And I mean a real flaw—none of that ‘I’m too caring’ nonsense.”

Heeseung paused, clearly taken aback by the directness of the question, but he didn’t shy away from it. “My biggest flaw? Hm
I’d say I tend to overthink things. Sometimes, I worry too much about doing the right thing, and it makes me second-guess myself.”

Heesoo raised an eyebrow, clearly satisfied with his honesty, and finally leaned back in her chair, her lips curling into a small, approving smile. “Alright. You’ve passed—for now.”

You exhaled in relief, finally letting go of the tension in your shoulders as the interrogation seemed to be over. Semi clapped her hands together, grinning. “Well, Heeseung, you survived! Congratulations. We’ll go easy on you next time—maybe.”

Heeseung chuckled, turning to you with a playful smile. “That wasn’t so bad. I think I can handle them.”

You smiled back, feeling your heart swell with affection. “You did great. I was kind of worried they’d scare you off.”

Heeseung leaned in closer, his voice soft and teasing. “It’ll take more than that to scare me away.”

Your cheeks flushed at his words, and you nudged him playfully. “Stop being so smooth.”

Semi, clearly not done with teasing, leaned in with a mischievous grin. “Okay, but seriously, Heeseung. Do you think you could beat her in a game of Mario Kart? That’s the real test.”

Heeseung laughed, his eyes sparkling with amusement. “Oh, I’ve already tried. She destroyed me.”

You shrugged with a grin. “What can I say? I’m competitive.”

Heeseung chuckled, shaking his head. “And that’s why I love you.”

The words hung in the air for a moment, and you felt your heart skip a beat, your breath catching in your throat. It wasn’t the first time he’d said it, but in front of your friends, it felt different—more real, more special.

Semi let out a dramatic gasp, fanning herself. “Alright, that’s it. You two are officially too cute for me.”

Heesoo smirked, nodding in agreement. “Yeah, we’re done here. But, Heeseung, remember—if you ever hurt her, we’ll find you.”

Heeseung grinned, nodding. “I wouldn’t expect anything less.”

THE SOFT GLOW OF STREETLIGHTS REFLECTED OFF THE THIN LAYER OF SNOW THAT HAD BEGUN TO BLANKET THE SIDEWALKS, creating a quiet, almost magical atmosphere. It was one of those evenings where the world seemed to slow down, where time stretched out in front of you, and all that mattered was the warmth of Heeseung’s hand, firmly intertwined with yours, as the two of you walked side by side. You could feel the cold bite of the wind, but it hardly registered, not when you were this close to him, not when his presence radiated warmth.

His binnie was dusted with the tiniest specks of snowflakes, and every now and then, a flurry would land on his dark hair peeking out from underneath, adding to the charm of the moment. You stole a glance at him, your heart swelling at the sight—his cheeks flushed slightly from the cold, his breath coming out in soft puffs of condensation. He was fumbling with his keys, his brows furrowed in concentration, and the sight made you smile.

Heeseung noticed, catching you looking at him, and his lips quirked into a curious, soft grin. “What are you thinking about?” he asked, his voice gentle but carrying a hint of playfulness. He finally managed to unlock the door, but instead of stepping inside, he paused, letting the question hang in the air, waiting for your answer. His eyes were on you now, all of his attention focused, as if he could sense the weight behind your unspoken thoughts.

You hesitated for a moment, biting your lower lip, before speaking softly. “Just that
we probably wouldn't have such a lovely relationship if we didn’t agree to meet offline. I mean, we would have a relationship—but maybe not like this.”

Heeseung’s eyes widened slightly in surprise, his amusement clearly visible as his breath hitched from the cold, but before you could say anything more, he was pulling you inside, shutting the door behind you with a soft click. The warmth of his apartment enveloped you immediately, but the contrast between the chilly night and the sudden comfort inside felt almost surreal.

He let out a low chuckle, his voice filled with disbelief. “It’s literally freezing outside, and that’s what you’re thinking about?” Heeseung raised an eyebrow as he slipped off your jacket, his fingers brushing lightly against your arms in the process. You could feel the heat from his touch, even through the thick fabric, and it sent a shiver up your spine that had nothing to do with the cold. He looked down at you, his lips curving into that teasing smile you’d come to know so well.

Before you could respond, you reached up, your fingers gently brushing the snow off the tip of his nose. “You have snow here,” you muttered, your voice soft, almost breathy, as you leaned in slightly to brush away the last remnants of snow from his cheeks.

Heeseung’s smile widened, his eyes softening as he tilted his head closer, nuzzling your nose with his own in the most affectionate way, as if you were a couple of playful kittens. “This method is better,” he murmured, his breath mingling with yours as he spoke, his lips barely grazing your skin. The closeness was intoxicating, and you couldn’t help but laugh, the sound light and airy.

“You’re weird,” you teased, rolling your eyes as you attempted to step back, but Heeseung wasn’t having any of it. Before you could escape, his arms wrapped around you, lifting you off the ground in one swift motion.

Your giggles filled the room as you instinctively wrapped your arms around his neck, your heart skipping a beat at the suddenness of it all. Heeseung grinned up at you, his lips brushing against yours as he planted a few light kisses, each one sending a ripple of warmth through your chest.

“You’re so tiny,” he whispered, his voice barely more than a murmur as he carried you toward his bedroom. He nudged the door open with his foot, never breaking his gaze from yours, and the sheer confidence in the way he handled you made your pulse quicken.

He gently laid you down on the bed, his body hovering over yours as he climbed up, his knees pressing into the mattress on either side of you. You could feel the weight of his presence, the heat radiating off him as he pinned you beneath him.

For a moment, all you could do was stare at each other, the intimacy of the moment stretching out, thick and palpable. His eyes searched yours, and you could see the glint of mischief hiding behind the warmth in his gaze.

“Heesoo and Semi are going to kill you if you do something,” you teased, though the smile on your lips betrayed your words. You ran your fingers along the sharp line of his jaw, tracing the smooth skin, feeling the way his body tensed under your touch.

Heeseung leaned in, his lips brushing against the sensitive skin of your neck as he pressed soft, lingering kisses, each one sending shivers down your spine. “Like what?” he murmured against your skin, his voice low and teasing, the sound of it sending a wave of warmth flooding through you.

You bit your lip, trying to suppress the butterflies that swirled in your stomach. “You know what I mean,” you muttered, pouting slightly, but before you could say more, he captured your lips with his, his kiss silencing your protest. His lips were warm, soft, and insistent, and you found yourself melting into him, completely forgetting what you were even trying to argue about.

Then, in one quick movement, he shifted, flipping the two of you so that you were now on top, straddling him. You gasped, your hands instinctively gripping his shoulders for balance as you adjusted to the sudden change in position.

“Woah,” you breathed, your eyes wide in surprise as you looked down at him.

Heeseung just grinned up at you, his arms wrapping around your waist, pulling you close. “I’ll settle for cuddles,” he said, his voice softening as he leaned up to plant a gentle kiss on your forehead. His teasing tone had given way to something more tender, more intimate, and the affection in his voice made your heart flutter.

“You’re seriously such an overreactor,” he teased, his eyes twinkling with amusement as he held you against him, his chest rising and falling steadily beneath you.

You couldn’t help but laugh, your cheek pressing against his chest as you relaxed into his embrace, feeling the steady thrum of his heartbeat beneath your ear. The sound was soothing, grounding, and you couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of peace as you lay there, wrapped up in him.

“Am I heavy?” you asked playfully, lifting your head slightly to look down at him, your lips curving into a teasing smile.

Heeseung’s grin widened, his hands tightening around your waist as he pulled you even closer, his breath warm against your skin. “What? No,” he muttered, laughing softly. “If anything, you’re way too light.”

You rolled your eyes, but you couldn’t hide the smile that tugged at your lips. You leaned down, capturing his lips in a soft kiss, your fingers threading through his hair as you deepened it. He responded immediately, his arms wrapping around you tighter, as if he never wanted to let you go.

The snow continued to fall outside, but inside, wrapped in Heeseung’s arms, you felt nothing but warmth. And as the two of you lay there, tangled up in each other, you couldn’t help but think that even though the world outside was cold and quiet, in this moment, everything felt perfect.

 :D

[below the cut]

“thanks for making me get $100, babe”

you look up from your seat to see your boyfriend, jake holding a $100 bill between his index and middle fingers. he sent you a wink which already made you blush like crazy but then you slowly processed the words.

what?

“what?” your expression dropped. you looked at jake, waiting for a response for what he meant.

“i said,” he planted his two hands in front of his desk, staring down at you with his beautiful eyes of his. you stared back with nothing but confusion in your eyes.

“thanks for letting me have $100 sweet cheeks.” jake’s lips curved up. he slowly leaned towards your cheeks, pecking them before proudly looking down at his cash.

that little nickname he gave you made your hearts do back flips as usual.

you stood still before replying, “what do you mean? you used me?”

you’ve liked jake ever since he was in the school’s soccer team since sophomore year. he’s popular for his smartness, his godly visuals, his amazing personality of his that steals the hearts of girls, and his talents.

your introverted personality of yours didn’t dare to make a move on jake. you were undoubtedly shy and didn’t like social interaction very much. all of the girls were in line to ask him out and directly confess their love to him, but you didn’t. you weren’t in line, you were just observing him from the side, mentally noting what he likes, didn’t like, what topics he likes to talk about and many more.

the only proof that you like him was through a little post it note you had on your desk before leaving to go to cafeteria.

sim jaeyun <3

was all you’ve written in pink in your yellow post it note. you haven’t told anyone, even your closest friend for you would be afraid of the public teasing that would soon eventually let the whole school know you like jake.

five months, he suddenly asked you out because he thought you were the “most beautiful girl i had ever laid eyes on but was scared to make a move”, quoted by sim jake himself.

at first you didn’t question it as to why he randomly asked you out.

you remember that day, you were blushing like crazy, heart almost ripping out of your rib cage, and you had all sorts of scenarios and activities both you and jake can do because both of you are in a relationship.

well, were in a relationship.

“yeah.” your thoughts were interrupted when jake responded with a heartless tone. “i admit that you were cute when you bought me gifts, but either than that,

i’ve never liked you.” his tone was monotonous.

is that why i reminded him of my birthday? is that why i reminded him of our monthsavrie? when my classes end? is that why i was the first to everything? good morning texts?

thinking about your past memories where you felt the most happy with jake,

was all just an act. just for the damn $100 dollars.

jake being the first one to hold your hand whenever both of you met, even if it’s a minute in the hallways or meeting after school ended, him being the first to notice you shivering and toss you his hoodie even if he was cold, him volunteering to help you study your subjects even if it’s 2am, him wiping your lips with his soft fingers from eating ice cream, him listening to your rants and sobs whenever your parents fight late at night, and always looking at you with nothing but love and admiration you believed,

all an act?

you lowered your head, trying to contain your proper breathing and trying not let your tears fall down. you exhaled, closing your eyes.

“who asked you?”

jake’s face slightly clenched when seeing your eyes filled with rage yet tears threatening to spill out. “who asked you for the bet?” you asked once again but with a firm tone. you didn’t break eye contact. you were thinking of his friends he always hung out with, park sunghoon, yang jungwon, lee heeseung, and many more but you felt like these people - your best friends as well - would never hurt you like that.

instead of being sad and running away, you’re staring at your ex boyfriend with bitterness. the loving stare you’ve had towards jake was rather replaced as if he’s your enemy. yeah, you’ve been backstabbed.

“does it matter?” jake tilted his head, shrugging it off. “what matters is i got my money.” he flicked his bill right in front of your face, his tongue peaking when he mockingly smiled at you.

you glanced at the dollar and then back at jake.

“did i mean nothing to you?” you asked, your thoughts suddenly spilling from your lips. “was our relationship nothing to you?” a tear spilled out of your eyes. seconds later, multiple of them were easily sliding down your cheeks.

you stood up from your seat, looking directly into jake’s emotionless eyes. “did you have fun playing with my feelings? did you enjoy taking my likeness towards you as an advantage? were your friends having fun hyping us up whenever we were around them? did you at least have some fucking sympathy for me!?”

after screaming, you looked down. you were going crazy. literally.

“god, y/n calm down. you’re embarrassing me, lower your volume.” jake crinkled his nose, eyes wandering around to see if there was anyone near the both of you.

despite not looking at him, you can hear the annoyance in his tone and the rolling of his eyes whenever you guys argue. he would call you “overdramatic.”

“fine.” you gulped before looking at him. you imagined yourself as a crying mess. it’s like every argument you had, jake would not cry, but you were.

you had to contain yourself to not let your emotions overwhelm you, but it’s hard right now.

you just got used for money.

“i hope that $100 dollar bill reminds you how much of a shitty person you are.” you grabbed your book bag and ran for your life.

out of that suffocating room.

i can’t believe it, you thought.

he’s a bitch he’s a bitch why is he a bitch!? why did he choose me!? why did he hurt me? i did nothing but .. love him and be there for him.. what did i do to get treated like this??

your chest hurts like shit, you can’t breathe, you can’t think properly, all you wanna do is to hide forever and never face jake the following monday at school. you wanted to go anywhere. anywhere but be in a room with him, sim jaeyun.

god, love is fucking embarrassing as hell.

YEAHHH jake angst drabbleđŸ•ș idk how to feel this one as i can’t imagine jake doing such a thing :(( but we need a change don’t we ? i hope you enjoyed it!! thank you for reading!! âŁïž

i want to wear his initials on a chain ‘round my neck not because he owns me cuz he really knows me, which is more than they can say.

“jungwon!” you called out to him, holding a necklace that had his initials in it.

after jungwon fixed his tie, his figure approached to you immediately when you called out to him.

you’ve been trying to put your favorite necklace for the past five minutes and you realized it’s been almost time for prom in your high school.so you were rushing.

jungwon actually decided to match with you, sending you pinterest inspo when texting you, “us?đŸ„°â€. he never failed to make you blush in public. you had to immediately hide your phone from your teacher, putting your hand on your mouth to prevent a smile from being noticed.

jungwon picked a dark, emerald green dress on you since green is his favorite color on you, especially his green sweater. you chose a regular suit on him, but his tie would have the same emerald color. he thought it was the best choice, yet you were happy with the results.

when jungwon picked you up from your house with a bouquet of your favorite flowers, you were in awe. he looked really good in a tuxedo that you can’t believe that he’s your boyfriend.

you’re were so mesmerized.

he looked godly charismatic because it emphasized his body well, his golden skin radiating under your door light and his perfect middle part presented to you. you can still see his natural curly hair at the ends but it made you fall in love. jungwon looked so mature that you wonder if this is how he will look like in a couple of years.

after staring at jungwon, you felt your legs getting jelly.

you were starstruck at his appreciation that you felt like crying but before you do so, you hugged him tightly with your arms around his neck.

you heard jungwon chuckling, imagining his whisker dimples appearing as he stumbled at your sudden action. his hands immediately flew to your waist incase you would trip.

when jungwon arrived to your house, he was really nervous. he thought he will be a stuttering mess when he sees you, imagining your beauty in front of him, him only. his heart was beating so fast, that he thought he will get a heart attack. he took a deep breath and rubbed his chest to ease his anxiety. you opened the door and he felt like a mess. you were shining - glowing - twinkling like a jewel.

you greeted him with a smile as usual and he almost fell down like those cartoons when the male lead faints, but thank the heavens you grabbed him before he could do so.

your parents behind you captured the moment with their phones behind the wall of the door entrance. jungwon waved to your parents, shooting them a small smile as they gladly did the same. their hearts were warmed at the sight they were witnessing.

jungwon pressed his head to the crook of your neck, taking a whiff of your body wash; a combination of cherry blossoms and blueberries. he closed his eyes for a moment before pecking your neck. it slightly tickled you.

he removed himself, still holding you by the waist. he looked down at you with a smile, “hi my pretty girlfriend.” his dimple couldn’t help themselves from showing.

you couldn’t stop smiling at his cuteness. “hi my boyfriend.” you replied back with a cheeky grin. jungwon thought you were too gorgeous. he leaned down to steal a peck, maybe three pecks. making you frozen and hoping that your parents didn’t witness that.

now here you are in the hallways, where both of you didn’t show yourself in front of others yet. you can hear the faded music but you weren’t close to the entrance where people could easily spot you; more like both of you were at the exit.

you stood in front of a circular mirror. you wanted to present yourself, jungwon didn’t mind how long you were gonna take. as long as he’s with you, he couldn’t ask for more.

your frustration didn’t help you in putting on your necklace and you felt getting sweaty from the stress, so you called your lovely boyfriend who has been inspecting the decorations all over the halls with his hands in his pockets and his boba-like eyes wandering around. you find the situation very adorable.

jungwon noticed it what you were asking for even if you verbally didn’t say it. he took your necklace, realizing that it had his initials and he smirked at your wise choice.

you looked in the mirror, seeing your boyfriend easily towering behind you and it made your heart shake. you moved your hair to one side so he can easily put it on.

jungwon slowly opened the chain as you eye his every action. you kept getting distracted by him that it was making you insane.

jungwon took a step closer to you, putting the necklace in front of you. you held your breath when the gold touched your skin.

jungwon was so attentive in making sure that the adjustment was making you comfortable. “is that alright?” he suddenly whispered, making your neck get goosebumps not from his breath but his deep voice.

you nodded and whispered, “yeah that’s fine.” you smiled at him. he couldn’t see you across the mirror but he felt it in your tone.

“done.” jungwon smiled proudly with his dimples. you exhaled as you were touching his initials on your neck, proudly displaying.

jungwon swore that you looked extra attractive.

“you’re so beautiful y/n.” jungwon suddenly wrapped his arms around your waist, hugging you tightly as he kept his head in your neck just like earlier. it felt perfect like a puzzle piece.

you chuckled at his sudden touchiness. “and you are handsome too, jungwon.” you put your hands on where his hands were on your waist, slowly rocking side to side.

“jungwon that tickles!” you pulled away slightly when you felt his kisses on the side of your neck. jungwon pouted when you pulled away.

“awe i can’t kiss my princess anymore?” you rolled your eyes at his childness. “you know what i meant.” you eyed him at the mirror.

jungwon shook his head, making his hair do a little bounce. he pulled you back in which you easily obliged. he continued planting little pecks, sometimes longer on your neck. your stomach was tingling at his lips touching your skin and the noises made your heart flutter.

you love his kisses.

you looked at the mirror at what was happening. you bit your lip at the attractive scene like it’s a manhwa. your breath was getting heavier each second has passed.

“alright you’re having too much fun now.” you removed his hands from your waist and turned around, your back pressed against your mirror. you fiddled with jungwon’s fingers.

you were about to say something, along the lines of, “let’s go” but jungwon kept staring at you with an affectionate face with his head tilted to the side, not caring about what you were saying. he was gonna to continue.

his lips were pressed into yours once again, making your legs feel like jelly. jungwon held your waist to keep you still as your arms slowly made way towards his neck to make the kiss deeper.

kissing before prom wasn’t apart of your bucket list but you didn’t mind it.

jungwon let go, leaning his forehead against you as he stared at you.

you giggled at his lips, it’s now stained in your lipstick. “now your lips are stained.” you tried wiping your lipstick from his lips with your fingers but jungwon didn’t care. he didn’t care how filthy or disgusting comments he would get from getting lipstick stains from you. as long as it was from you, he couldn’t careless. maybe that’s why you love your boyfriend a little too much heh

“you’re so touchy today, i wonder why..” you asked, eyes focused on his lips. you were making sure the lipstick was fully removed but you can’t tell if that’s his natural lip color; being swollen from your kiss or your lipstick.

jungwon tapped his fingers on your hips, slightly gripping them. “because i have the most beautiful girl in front of me.” he smile with a smug that made you laugh lightly. “mhm couldn’t help myself.” he looked proud acting like a prince.

“stop it jungwon, you gonna make me a mess before we take a step inside.” you jokingly pressed your hands against your cheeks, lightly tapping them to indicate your blushing.

jungwon smiled, staring at you with shining eyes as he grabbed your hand from your cheek, intertwining with his and pressed them against his cheek.

your lips were slightly open as it caught you off guard but you smiled from ear to ear when he pecked your hand, staring at you. his eyes were smiling.

“i love you y/n.” jungwon whispered against your lips. “i love you too.” you didn’t hesitant to reply, pecking him one more time before finally fixing yourselves to go inside of your school’s auditorium.

“hey what took so long!?” your classmate heeseung noticed the both of you at the entrance, his voice slightly irritated because both of you said 7:00pm. it was currently 7:30pm.

both of you blushed and looked away.

[below the cut]

your neighbor is alone for his birthday.

your head leaning onto your window frame, you stared at the boy on his desk doing homework.

it was night time, the air outside bought a cold feeling to your skin despite wearing a pajama set. even if clothes, you’re still shivering like a cat. but nothing defeats the feeling than being alone for your birthday. you felt utterly bad.

your parents started off your day by saying, “it’s sunghoon’s birthday today. sohee’s son.” your dad tossed you milk for your cereal. you muttered a thanks before familiarizing yourself who sunghoon is.

sunghoon moved into your neighborhood in the summer of this year. the first time your parents and yourself greeted him, you can’t deny that his looks definitely caught your eye. you agree that he’s hella attractive.

he looked nerdy with glasses on and was (still is) undoubtedly quiet. but as time passed on, you sometimes would have the opportunity to say hi and good mornings on the bus stop, on the way to school. sunghoon would reply back before moving his eyes to his phone. his social battery easily gets drained. you would later found out when your mother told you from the talks her and sohee would have.

both of you went to different schools so you wonder how’s he’s doing since he moved.

so technically you’re friends but you don’t think sunghoon knows that.

you stared at the disappointment in front of you. you pursed your lips together with your arms crossed as you wonder what kind of homework he’s working on. or better yet, thinking.

isn’t he supposed to be celebrating? what is this loser (respectively) doing homework for?

“staring at the boy?”

you jumped, almost screaming out loud at the sudden voice by your door. you swore that your heart tried to break free out of your rib cage.

you recognized that it was your mom’s but it felt like it was from a line out of a movie - where it’s the last moments of death.

you turned around with an annoyed expression. your mom grinned slyly with a fruit bowl in her hand. she settled the bowl in your desk as you happily skipped over, grabbing the fork that stabbed a strawberry and deliciously consume the sweetness and freshness.

“i wasn’t staring..” you muttered, finishing your strawberry. “i’m curious as to why he’s not celebrating when it’s his birthday.” you stabbed whatever you wanted to eat next: a grape.

“sunghoon?” your mom asked. you nodded, slipping a chair in to relax. “i believe his parents went out for a business trip.”

your eyes bulged out, even feeling more pity that his parents weren’t here for his birthday. “wait really?” you were genuinely surprised. “what about his friends? doesn’t he have any with that look of his?” your tone became bitter towards the end.

your mom shrugged, not knowing as well. “i think we still have cake from last night that hasn’t been eaten yet.” your mom gave you an idea.

“the paris baguette one?” your mom nodded. “share some with sunghoon.” your mother smiled before leaving your room.

-

you arrived at the doorstep of sunghoon’s home with an uneaten paris baguette cake that came with plates, knives and forks, candles and a match. you were kind of nervous because this might be the first time interacting with sunghoon.

your heart was beating out of nervousness that you might just drop the cake and hide in the bushes to see if sunghoon would take it without hesitation. but that’s just dumb-

your thoughts disappeared when the door opened and you saw sunghoon still in his school uniform. his eyes also widened, intrigued to see you with a cake in your hands. well, especially you.

“uh..” you looked down at sunghoon, admiring how he looked good in his uniform before looking up at him. he was blinking, waiting for a response.

sunghoon noticed your stare. he heard whisper to yourself, “you’re tall
” and he then realized how short you are when he looked down on you. “you’re short.” he bluntly replied.

“w-what?” your heart stammered when you heard him, looking at him dumbfounded. he tilted his head to the side, raising an eyebrow like a cocky person. acting like he didn’t say anything.

then you cleared your throat.

“wanna help me finish this cake?” you mentally palmed yourself at your own words that just randomly spilled out on its own.

sunghoon’s lips curled up, almost like a smile at your words. your heart felt lighter at his reaction. he looked at you, nodded. “yeah.” he invited you inside his home, making you excited to share the cake.

“party tonight?”

you got a text from yeonjun. you stared at it as if it was an experiment. you were surprised indeed.

oh because you were never a party person. you avoided parties because
..

1. you didn’t like loud noise music for it can easily cause an unnecessary migraine and then ruin your night

2. you didn’t want to experience underage drinking with a bunch of kids you barely knew

3. the smell of vomit and sweaty people gave you an ick

4. people bothering you or strangers just casually making a move on you

5. overthinking that the police will somehow find out that a bunch of dumb high school students are doing illegal and sexual activities after an old woman down the street snitched on them

6. you just find being alone on a friday night with a bucket of ice cream and watching your favorite youtube videos, all snuggled up in your blanket >> parties

jake would sometimes invite you to parties that his friends would host at their expensive, large mansions that would be twenty minutes away from the city. it would be somehow isolated but never a bother to the neighbors. surprisingly, heeseung - the host would never get caught or snitched on. rumors spread that he has the best parties.

but you would reject the invitation. jake insisted as a way to enjoy youth, but you never find a reason why drinking and be around sweaty people are things to enjoy youth.

but two weeks later, you’re still a mess with that dumb breakup you had to deal with and you were asking for a change. a change to find your confidence. your own self worth. you changed your hair from blonde to black, wore different kinds of clothing to find a style that felt right, bought new skincare items, new makeup and inserted a new mindset; focusing on yourself.

not gonna lie, even if jake was acting, he was the best boyfriend you ever had compared to your past relationships. maybe that’s why you sometimes get flashbacks from your memories or wished that you were still dating him but no. you can’t do that, that’s so pathetic of you.

“you know i don’t do parties.”

“it’s at my house babe. 9pm, ten minutes away from gangnam. only inviting special people ;)”

you were thinking now, whether or not to go. you trust yeonjun with all your heart because he’s the sweetheart of the school. he would help you in english class but you were still a bit hesitant.

“i have fruit punch saved for you”

okay that’s settled. he knows you so well.

“i’ll see you there👍”

“ooo exciting, don’t look like a rat😘”

“you’re the rat🙄”

“a beautiful oneđŸ’„đŸ˜â€

you snickered at yeonjun, tossing your phone at the bed as you leaned back to your bed. you closed your eyes, lightly humming to make a decision. it’s only 4 hours before 9pm.

you got off your bed, grabbing your towel along the way to the bathroom.

-

“okay
” you exhaled, hands shaking as you rubbed your stomach. you feel the soft material, having an unfamiliar feeling as you felt weird
 a good weird..

you were wearing a black ruffled dress. there was a rose around your hip, showing a thigh slit as it was including a mess tub top as apart of the dress. it looked perfect for a clubwear. well, yeonjun said to not look like a rat and this is what you had.

you sent a picture to yeonjun ask for help whether or not people wear these kinds of stuff. apparently they do when he replied with three fire emojis.

you slipped on platform boots that helped you gain an inch or two in your height, making you feel confident now that you’re taller.

you looked a last glance in the mirror, deciding to take last minute photos because you reassured yourself with an awkward smile, clinging onto your shoulder bag tightly.

have fun and don’t end up in someone’s bed.

you finally head out with your body scented like strawberries and cotton from your newest perfume collection.

-

yeah, you knew this was definitely not your comfort zone. the moment you left the taxi door, the sight of flashing lights and blasted music welcomed you. you noticed a few people in the lawn, talking, vomiting, heck even making out. although it was the norm, you weren’t used to it.

you can see the scene inside that was even more chaotic and you can’t imagine having fun with people all up on you.

you felt out of place but maybe you were overthinking it.

you shake off the thought and just head straight in, texting yeonjun that you’re here.

walking inside, you’re immediately greeted by mark lee from your physics class. “y/n hi!” he greeted you with his red cup, smiling at you. you muttered a hi back. “you look cute.” mark complimented your look. you blushed at the sudden appreciation comment, for how popular mark is and how hard it is to be friends with him due to his popularity.

“woah
” you mentally freaked out walking away. you tried to squeeze yourself into a little corner in hopes you see someone familiar or just eat and people watch.

you see a bunch of snacks all over the table counter. you took whatever you were craving for, kettle chips. you can’t go wrong with those.

your eyes wandered everywhere in curiosity. you’re supposed to be partying but you’re backing out, feeling like a little kid with their older sibling and their friends.

“hey!” you noticed yeonjun walking to you with a smile. your eyes trailed to the boys behind him, especially the one with a dyed mullet.

“here’s your fruit punch m’lady~” yeonjun dramatically handed your drink to you as you did a little bow, responding to his attitude. it bought laughter within the group.

“you’re y/n right? yeonjun has been talking about you to us!” your eyes looked up to see one of the tallest men you’ve ever seen in your life. it was soobin, one the people you’ve seen in the hallways.

usually you would see soobin the in the hallways with his airpods and his hood on, walking straight to class in your sophomore year (you’re a senior now). you’ve always found him intimidating and hard to approach but here he is, standing in front of you with his cheeks dimples showing. it melted you on the spot, finding him cute.

“really?” you raised an eyebrow at yeonjun in suspicion but he quickly dismisses that accusation. “i was just excited to see you because you never come to parties.” yeonjun leans into the table counter.

“hmm
” you murmured, trailing your thoughts. you placed your cup on the table after taking a sip. it is fruit punch.

he’s right about that. “just something to try.” you took a tip, eyes falling to the same mullet guy. he noticed your stare.

“parties aren’t your thing?” he suddenly looked at you, making your heart freeze whether or not he caught you looking at him.

you slowly nodded. “yeah i really don’t understand this whole,” you used your hand to demonstrate. “type of situation. if anything i’m more of a binge eating a bucket ice cream at 6pm.” you shrugged your shoulders. you heard the guy laugh which relaxed your nerves.

after he laughed, he looked at you with a soft smile. the lights reflecting on his face bought an emphasis on his features. he looked handsome in your opinion.

“so do i
”

“y/n!” you perked up. “i’m y/n.”

“i’m beomgyu.” both of you smiled at each other, bringing yeonjun and soobin to tease. “i think its our time to leave~” yeonjun interlocked arms with soobin, forbidding his goodbye as his dance suddenly jammed to the music that was playing.

surprisingly you felt comfortable being alone with beomgyu despite just meeting now.

you saw beomgyu scoot closer to you but still kept his distance to make you comfortable. you felt somehow excited to share a conversation with him.

-

“yo bro.” jay tapped jake’s shoulder, interrupting his conversation with a friend of his. jake raised an eyebrow at jay, following the direction of where his finger was pointing to.

“isn’t that y/n?” jake’s jaw slightly dropped in amusement, his head tilted to the side at the sight he was watching.

jake sees your face, filled with giggles and laughs as you talk with beomgyu. he noticed how your hair got darker. it emphasized your face features that he didn’t notice earlier during your ‘relationship’.

oh? was on his mind. he knew that you didn’t go to parties, let alone reject his invitation. so seeing you with an attractive dress on made him clench his jaw.

“she’s hot.” jake’s eyes flickered to sunghoon who’s shamelessly drinking from his cup. it was gold coming from sunghoon for he said that y/n isn’t his type.

jake rolled his eyes, moving his head towards you before his eyes did the same. his eyes were shooting daggers behind beomgyu’s head but you didn’t noticed his presence.

who is he? isn’t that beomgyu? since when beomgyu likes y/n? what’s so funny? what are they talking about? what is she laughing so much?

jake’s thoughts disappeared when he felt jay slapped his shoulder, slowly wrapping his arm around his neck. he also stared at beomgyu and you with pursed lips.

“are you thinking about y/n?”

jake bursted. “what? no! why would i think of her when she’s not my type?” jay sneered at his defensive friend. his eyes would still linger to you despite saying those words.

“stop being in denial sim. i still can’t believe that you used that dumb excuse to break up with y/n because you’re moving schools.”

jake sighed, agreeing with his friend. he’s right, jake was moving schools and he couldn’t tell you in person.

jake didn’t have the guts to say in front of you. he instead decided to make you angry instead so both of you can move on easily.

the $100 bill? jay’s wallet.

“jake,” jay spoke, leaning closer to jake’s ear when he witnessed a sad pout from his friend.

“win her back.” jake’s eyes sparkled.

-

“i really don’t like mr. kim. he’s such a pain in the ass giving us math packets each week. he should be focusing his time working out instead.” beomgyu rolled his eyes, taking a chip from your bag before munching it.

you giggled lightly with that comment because you agree with him. “i know right! he’s such a pain of an ass when it’s all due next week- which reminds me i haven’t done 5.2 yet and it’s due tonight.” you groaned at the sudden reminder, making your head hurt.

you lowered your head, already imagining the stress of doing those annoying packets.

you felt beomgyu’s hand in your hair, slowly rubbing your head which caught you off guard.

“let’s stop talking about statistics then, do you wanna dance?” beomgyu offered, looking at you with gentleness. you nodded, maybe you do need a distraction.

“i would love that.” giggles erupted from the both of you after you kept staring at him.

beomgyu grabbed your hand, leading you to a group of people dancing and the music getting louder.

your body instantly grooved to the music. even if you looked silly, you looked silly with that pretty little dress of yours. beomgyu was in front of you dancing which made him let go of his hand on yours.

for a while of constant dancing and grooving, you felt a body behind you. you assumed that it was beomgyu so you didn’t mind. it didn’t feel uncomfortable at all.

you were having fun. you were into it. well too into it.

a hand slithered around your hip, not doing anything. it was just there but it erupted a flame within you. beomgyu or not, you just hope it was a hot guy.

another hand was on your hip. both hands slowly swaying you with the music as you followed along. the guy behind you, came closer. you can smell subtle scent of cotton and musk as you kept dancing close to him. you felt him dancing along with you, keeping you close when his breath was in your ear and your back touching his chest.

you kept giggling like a little girl even though you didn’t drink. you felt like you’re drunk however.

“beomgyu you’re so good at-" you turned around and see the person you never wanted to see in your life.

after that intense song ended, a more chill song came up but it was still hyping the crowd. people started to leave the circle, leaving space between you and jake.

jake’s hand still was placed onto your hips but he didn’t dare to move it. “beomgyu?” he raised an eyebrow at you.

“what are you doing here?” you asked, staring at his eyes. whenever you talked to him, you always stare at his eyes because it was mesmerizing. unfortunately you can’t help due to the reflection of the lights onto his eyes.

your tone wasn’t full of spite but rather annoyed.

“shouldn’t i be asking you that princess?” you can’t believe he still uses that nickname on you. you hate it how it easily slips out his mouth naturally and gives you butterflies.

“i’m having fun.” you don’t know why you’re talking to him. you shouldn’t be talking to him.

“with beomgyu?” jake asked. you noticed a shift in his tone; bitter. you can see his fav features harden.

“mhm happily.” you poked a hole with a small smile, filled with venom. jake snickered, the tip of his tongue touching his lips.

“i’m leaving, you said it’s embarrassing to be with me.” you removed his hands from your hips, walking away to find beomgyu, heck even mark if he’s nearby.

“no,” jake grabbed your wrist, making your body turn to him. “let’s talk.” jake proposed. you gave him a confused stare. talk about what?

“no. i don’t want to talk to you again.” you tried to let go of his grip but he kept holding on, smirking when you seem to be struggling letting go. you knew he was stronger but eh, it was an attempt.

“jake? jake!” jake was dragging you to a nearby room, pushing people that was in his way. you noticed the surprised glances when jake was holding your wrist because of your abrupt breakup. you kept screaming, “let go!” but there was no used because one, jake gets what he wants and two, people are having fun. they could seem to less care and be in anyone’s business.

“are you fucking kidding me!?” you screamed directly at jake’s face when he pulled you into, what seems to be a guest room. jake didn’t listen as he locks the door behind him. “wow okay even the door! might as well jump off of a cliff!” you kept screaming at him because you were annoyed. you can tell he’s gonna ruin your night.

“pretty dress you got on.” his eyes scanned you up and downS “is that how beomgyu decided to talk to you?” jake stood in front of you with having the audacity to cross his arms in front of you. you scoffed at the gesture especially how pissed he sounded. he can’t be the one being pissed.

“awe, did i take your fun away from you?” jake pouted, mocking you for the lack of response.

“i’m sorry baby,” he inched closer to you but you kept glaring at him.

man fuck jake for looking this handsome.

“but, you can more fun with me. i think i’m more fun to be with instead of talking with that nerd.” jake tilted his head to the side with a sly smirk, hands creeping around your hip.

there was a loud smack, making jake speechless as he felt the throbbing of his cheek. he cursed internally at the pain.

you stood there, even surprised with your own action. you couldn’t hear the music from afar anymore, for it was replaced by your loud heart beat.

“how pathetic can you be?” you spoke. you sounded sad yet genuine because two weeks ago jake broke up with you and now it seems that he wants you back?

you keep reminding him that he only got to be with you because of a bet.

you lowered your head, sighing at the deafening silence. you decided to leave, ready to leave the party as well and cry going home.

“y/n-“ you felt jake’s hand on your wrist. you turned around, pointing straight at him.

“don’t fucking touch me!”

jake swore he got goosebumps and cold sweats when you cursed at him. he came frozen when you looked at him dead in the eyes.

jake looked at you and his gaze softened. you had angry tears ready to burst and your cheeks becoming red from vexation. jake can tell you’ve been hurting for days - how you’re trying to be strong and move on but really, you can’t.

jake was genuine in the relationship. everything that he did, was true. he cherishes you and he still loves you.

“i’m tired jake.” he can hear your desperation. “i’m tired of dealing with this. of you.” tears spilled but you didn’t let it phase you. “i don’t know why you’re here when you broke up with me! what else do you want from me? play with me more!? you don’t even love me-”

“i do!”

you felt like the world took a pause on you when you hear the words you didn’t expect to here. you felt your heart dropped at his sudden comment. you thought that you were dreaming.

“w-what?” you stuttered. you saw jake’s eyes softening, his emotion rather showing sincerity.

“fuck y/n i still love you.” jake spoke again. “even after our breakup, i still love you. think of you. care about you. everyday my heart still aches of you even though i initiated the breakup i just still can’t stop thinking of you. i regretted it. ever since i said those words to you.”

jake exhaled, his eyebrows furrowing at his words. he was processing what he just said, hoping you took it seriously.

but you were overwhelmed. you felt dizzy. you wanted to breathe and go anywhere your feet take you but not be in this room with your ex.

you shook your head, whimpering. “you don’t love me jake.” you cried. you didn’t want him to show this side of you. you walked to the door, past jake.

before you even put your hand on the cold door handle, you felt his warmth onto your body. he was hugging you from behind, tightly even burying his head into your neck. you were crying even more when the feeling of him touching you resurfaced. you missed his touch.

“i’m genuinely sorry y/n - i just had issues and i know that’s not an excuse but i wasn’t kidding when i said that i love you.” your back shivered when you hear jake’s deep voice in your ear.

you sniffled, “what issue? how big of an issue to make me hurt like this?” jake’s heart ache when he heard your voice crack while breaking down.

“i’m moving schools. i’m going back to australia.” jake finally said it. “i didn’t want to see you cry because i’m moving- i only acted that way because i’d rather let you hate me and move on quickly than to see you miserable, but i-i couldn’t handle it.” you hear jake sniffle but you were scared. you didn’t know if what he was saying was true but you can tell whether or not jake was telling the truth.

“you’re such a dickhead. why could’ve not you said it sooner?” you opened your palms and cried on them. heck, you don’t even care if people outside hear your sobs that’s not what’s important right now.

“fuck, you’re just moving schools shit i just-“ you hiccuped between your sobs, praying that your waterproof mascara and eyeliner isn’t making you look an ugly mess.

jake stood in front of you, making you feel empty when he stopped hugging you for a hot second. “y/n.” his hands lightly gripped your wrists, wanting to look at you but you persisted.

“y/n look at me.” jake softly said, trying look at you but you kept crying. he saw your lips trembling and tears streaming down your face. “y/n i still love you. everything in our relationship was real. i still want to be with you but i don’t know if you wanted long distance
” he softly whispered to you.

“you bastard!” you suddenly outburst, making jake flinched. you had your hands fly out, smacking him once again. “relationships are supposed to be a mutual thing! you’re so selfish you didn’t even ask me what i thought of it! we agreed that we should share everything to each other and you just didn’t acknowledge me- gosh! care for me my ass!” you kept scolding at jake who nodded along to your words.

“you’re right y/n i’m such a jerk..” he lowered your head, ashamed at himself. you lowered your finger that was pointing at him.

you stood still, pouting at jake. he took a glance at you, “gosh you’re still a crybaby, come here.” he opened his arms. it was tempting to hug him, to be in his arms again.

you miss him deeply. especially with that smile of his. “this bitch..” you muttered before coming straight to him.

jake hugged you tight like a delicate flower, pecking your forehead. it caused you to bury your face more into his chest, tickling him.

“i want you back y/n, please let me be with you.” jake was begging at his point to be with you. you giggled at his desperation as he was playing with your new black hair.

“sorry about your shirt,” you lifted your head, cringing at the stain. “it’s a bit messy-”

before you can continue your sentence, jake decided to kiss you. kiss you like it’s the end of the world. you felt his hands tighten on your waist and you felt out of breath when he was tilting his head to make the kiss deeper.

fuck you miss his lips.

jake misses yours, more than you can think.

jake pulled away, staring at your eyes with affection and love. “i love you.” he leaned closer to you again. you smiled at him, arms wrapping around his neck, massaging his head. “i love you too.” you kissed him back.

you were focused on the kiss, on jake. you didn’t care about anyone else but him, his body pressed on you.

both of your bodies bounced on the bed behind you. both of you giggled in the kiss as jake was craving more.

-

you woke up from your phone alarm. your head was throbbing at the sudden noise from your phone. you shut it off, groaning and stretching in your bed.

no, you and jake didn’t do the deed. rather he offered to take you home in his car. he dropped you off home and even walked you to the door, your parents surprised at the sudden appearance of him and you together.

you got a text message from jake, making your heart jump,

“so my parents told me we aren’t moving anymore

ROYAL BALL

ROYAL BALL

Listen to it when you read this :)

For princess Y/N being there was just so bored. She was only smiling to random people, who came here for a royal ball her kingdom made this year. Then, from nowhere, seven young men stood in front of her

“Do you mind dancing your highness?”one of them asked, bowing and pointing his hand towards princess Y/N as the other six. She took a look at her parents, waiting for their reaction. Her father nodded, so princess accepted the stranger's invitation and grabbed his hand - she did her’s first mistake. The stranger led her to the center of the ballroom, and moments later they began to move. The dance was delicate, but mysterious at the same time. Before princess Y/N could ask her partner for his name or from what kingdom he came from, he melted like a mist, and another appeared at his place. The tall brunet bowed slightly to the princess and then grabbed her hand, lightly touching her skin with his lips. After a short dance with the him, the blonde appeared, who took the place of the predecessor, after the blonde, another boy appeared, then another, and yet another, until it was time for the last one. The dark-haired young man grabbed princess's hand, and it was only at that moment that she realized how cold their hands were. When the stranger’s hand touched her waist, she shivered. Princess Y/N for the first time this evening looked in the eyes of one of her partners- his eyes were empty and dark as a winter night. After breaking that short eye contact with young man, Y/N started scanning his face- single black hair fell on his forehead and his nose on which she found a little mole. When the princess was about to ask for his name, the boy, like the rest of them, vanished in between all of tonight’s guests. Something in her wanted to stay, inside she felt that something was going to happen, but her body didn’t listen, and she moved forward, pushing through people. She saw one of mysterious boys with the corner of her eye, so she ran towards him, then she saw another one, so the she headed towards his direction. Y/N followed his footsteps, she left the room and entered one of the corridors, only to see the big castle doors open widely. She ran out of the palace and her eyes saw one of the strangers enter the garden maze- she followed him and it was her second mistake. Going through the dark labyrinth alleys, princess Y/N didn’t knew if it was her mind playing with her or was it really happening, but she heard murmurs or footsteps behind her, which made her shiver from fear and cold. Finally, she stopped looking for the missing boys, at that point, her priority was to find a way out. The footsteps and whispers grew louder and Y/N quickened her pace “Hello!? Is anyone there?!” she screamed, stopping in one place for a moment - it was her third and last mistake. The noises around began to intensify, and princess no longer wasted any time and began to run away. She knew that whoever was there had no good intentions, and she is really easy pray to catch. The sound of steps she heard were already loud enough for her to hear them clearly. She could easily say that someone was following her and knew her location. Y/N, in fear, turned off the first corner she could find, prying to god for help with getting out of here. She hoped that she will find a way out, but instead ended up in a dead end. And then she felt that she was no longer alone, it was obvious that whoever had chased her before was now standing behind her. Before she could turn around, someone leaned over her ear and whispered "You will finally be one of us" and after these words she felt an unimaginable pain in her neck. Now, she will be dancing with them for all eternity

cold boyfriend!Enhypen hyung line with their sweet girlfriend

Cold Boyfriend!Enhypen Hyung Line With Their Sweet Girlfriend

a/n: Hi! I make this reaction because of this âŹ†ïž and I hope it isn't very bad! also, sorry for possible mistakes, i’m still not fluent in english + it’s not my first language

@atiny-chocolate-chip here you go ❀

Heeseung:

you bought yourself a new stuffed animal, so you went to show it off to your boyfriend Heeseung

“Hee look! I bought a new mascot!" you said enthusiastically

“Another? Why do you need a new one if you already have a lot of them?” he asked, throwing a short glance at you, then his attention was again on his phone

“It’s nice and prettt so I bought it ... I called him Fluffy!” you approached your boy with a smile, but he didn't even look at you, so you just turned around, about to leave the room sadly, but you were stopped by Heseung's hand on your wrist

“Nice name” he muttered as he pulls you by your wrist onto his lap

“It fits
him” he added and kissed your nose, wrapping his hands around your waist

Jay:

you were out for a walk in the park with Jay

a few meters in front of you, two people were walking just like you and holding hands

you thought “hmm
I want to do the same with my boyfriend” so you just grabbed his hand, but he quickly took it out of your grip

you looked at your hand and awkwardly putted it in your pocket, so it wouldn't be more awkward, tho it was too late for that

Jay felt awkward too, so he putted his hand in your pocket

this time HE grabbed YOUR hand first and laced your fingers together

you looked with confused face at Jay who was looking straight ahead all the time avoiding eye contact with you

you smiled, enjoying the warmth of his hand in yours

Jake:

“I want to watch Adventure Time” you said to Jake, because it was his turn to chose which movie you guys will watch

“We are not going to watch any stupid cartoons! Stop acting like a child Y/N” he looked at you and rolled his eyes

you knew what Jake was like, but his words touched you somehow

also, you don’t act like a child, you just like watching cartoons, there’s nothing wrong about it, but your boyfriend seems to have a problem with that

after a few minutes, Jake noticed that you stopped talking and then he realized what could be causing that

you took your phone out of your pocket and started scrolling through your instagram, when you heard the opening song from "Adventure Time"

you looked at Jake, he had his eyes on the TV, but you could see a slight smile on his face when he saw from the corner of his eye that you noticed what show did he played

“i love you" you whispered and then you also focused your eyes on the TV set

Sunghoon:

you were on a date with Sunghoon on the beach, watching sunset

very romantic right?

yes. It would be very romantic, if only the unpleasant chills on your body didn’t stop you from enjoying this beautiful view

every time when even a slight wind blew, your body reacted very dramatic about it

eventually your whole body trembled and your fingers started to feel numb

Sunghoon took his eyes off the disappearing sun and looked at you

instead of a smile he wished to see cause he really like your smile, even though he won't admit it, he saw purple lips from coldness and a trembling jaw

he took off his jacket and put it on your shoulders

you looked at Hoon and he just said “Next time, get your jacket” then he putted his arm around you and rest his head against yours

now, it is romantic

cold boyfriend!Enhypen reaction to having a crush on you

Cold Boyfriend!Enhypen Reaction To Having A Crush On You

a/n: actually, it's not a "boyfriend!enhypen" because enhypen members have a crush on reader, so they aren’t in any specific relationship yet

another idea from @atiny-chocolate-chip ❀

Heeseung:

everyone knew how cold Heeseung was

every girl knew that there was no point in trying to get close to him because it would end in unnecessary tears from getting brutally rejected

it’s not like Heeseung is literally a monster without any emotions, but he liked it all, he had no problem with breaking girls hearts or trowing out love notes from his school locker

he wasn't interested in anyone he knew, until he met you

the first time he saw your smile, his body filled with a strange, previously unknown feeling

“What the fu-“ he thought as his stomach tickled strangely when he noticed you walking towards him

a few seconds later you passed Heeseung, and the scent of your perfume reached his nostrils he thought that you smell really good

first, Hee didn't allow himself to think that he might be liking someone, but day by day, he more and more often caught himself thinking about you or blushing every time you said something to him

and then he realized- he has a crush on you đŸ˜”đŸ˜”đŸ˜”

Jay:

Jay knew from the very beginning that he like you, but he wouldn't admit it

how would he dislike you when you are so pretty, kind, charming, helpful and friendly?

he knew that he is not the only boy who like you, which of course didn't surprised him, but the thought that someone else would call you "theirs" was killing him

Jay remember very well the day he met you and the day he realized that his heart start to like someone

your classes were over and normally you would just go straight home but this day the weather outside was horrible

you didn't have an umbrella, so you stood infront the entrance of your school, watching the rain drops fall down from the sky

Jay just left school when he saw you

something in his mind was telling him to come over to you, so that's what he did

you were too much in your on world to notice that Jay appeared next to you

and then you felt someone's hand on yours

Jay grabbed your hand to put an umbrella in it

“Go home, you will give the umbrella back to me another time” he said and walked away, leaving you alone

Jay's cheeks burned like fire, so were yours

“wow” he whispered, a slight smile appeared on his face

Jake:

Jake knew you because you were friends with Jay

when he saw you for the first time, butterflies appeared in his stomach

your first real interaction was quite unusual for Jake, but it was one of the best days of his life

Jake was out for a walk with Layla

suddenly, Layla snapped off the leash

after a long search for the dog, tired boy sat down on the bench, putting his face in his hands

then, a strangely familiar laugh disturbed his calmness

a laugh so melodic, that Jake could listen to it for hours

he raised his head and a few meters in front of him was a girl, lying on the grass and next to her was a dog that licked her face

LAYLA

Jake, seeing his dog, immediately moved towards the stranger

“LAYLA I WAS LOOKING FOR YOU!” he shouted, but his dog didn't pay much attention to him

“It's your dog?” in that moment, Jake had a perfect view at the 'stranger' and when he realized that YOU were laying with his dog, he blushed

“Yes” he replied shortly and walked over to Layla, to fasten her leash

“She's so cute” you said as you were petting her head

“I know” 🙂

“Maybe I could go for a walk with you and her someday?” you asked and Jake's cheeks turned from pink to red

“
” surprised and ashamed boy was speechless

he wanted to say “yeah, of course” with his whole heart but he simply couldn’t, his body had other plan

“Gotta go now, but please, think it over, take my number from Jay and let me know ok?” Jake just nodded his head at which you smiled and walked away

“So she knew who I am all this time!?" he was surprised omgg he was also kinda scared 😭

then he turned to Layla

“THANK YOU” he shouted and crouched down to hug the dog

Sunghoon:

you know the “ice prince” shit right?

i don't want to repeat how you melted his cold “like ice” heart, but I won't lie, that's truth

boy thought that he isn’t able to like someone, and suddenly you appeared, and he realized that he’s wrong

you two met by a accident

you ran into him in the library

then you ran into each other on the stairs when he was coming up and you were going down, and of course you got in your way

another time you caught the same product in the store

after all these "coincidences", Sunghoon realized it was destiny

it can't be a coincidence that he keeps running into the same girl who makes him feel feelings he never felt before

“We have to be together” he thought after you ran into each other again, this time on the street

Cold!Sunghoon reaction to bumping into his crush

Cold!Sunghoon Reaction To Bumping Into His Crush

a/n: Sunghoon's sister is actually 14 yo, but here she is much younger

also, this idea is from annon who send this request to @atiny-chocolate-chip ❀

That day was warm and sunny

Sunghoon noticed that he doesn't spend much time with his sister, so he decided that they would go somewhere together, like brother and sister. After playing at the playground, Sunghoon took his sister to a nearby ice cream shop for ice cream

"This day is so cool!" the happy, little girl screamed, looking up at her brother

"Glad you like it" Sunghoon smiled broadly at her words. When he was looking at his sister, he didn't pay attention to how he was going, which made him bump into someone

"Sorry" said a clearly female voice, well known to Sunghoon

"No problem" he said, instantly changing his tone from a loving brother to a cold Hoon

"Sunghoon?" you asked surprised

"As you can see" he muttered meanly, but his heart was beating so hard that he began to wonder if you could hear his heartbeat

"Who is this cutie?" You looked at the girl next to him who was holding his hand, and she immediately smiled at you

"My sister" replied Sunghoon, looking up to the sky, to avoid eye contact with you. After a short silence, Sunghoon's sister spoke up:

"Hoonie, is this that Y/N you keep telling mom about?" the youngest asked looking at her brother. Her words made Sunghoon's eyes got wider and his cheeks more red than ever

"Oh, so 'Hoonie' is talking about me to your mom?" you asked jokingly, laughing at Sunghoon’s reaction and his cute nickname

"Yes! He tells her that you are very pretty and that ..." before she managed to say anything more, Sunghoon covered her mouth

"We're going home" he grabbed her hand and began to walk away. All he wanted to do in that moment was cry from embarrassed

"BYE Y/N!" Sunghoon's sister shouted, waving to you, and you waved back with a big smile on your face

"I hate you" he said to his sister, and she just laughs at his word, knowing damn well that he loves her more than anything

he only sent you a letter once, on Valentine's Day

He was amazed at the amount of valentines you got

But he was happy that his crush smiled as she looked at the letter he had been working on for a long time

literally, he'd been thinking about even doing it in the first place for a good week, and it took a month to even begin writing you a letter

He likes to work with you on school projects

Then he can talk to you casually and laugh without any suspicion 🕮

“𝟕 𝐩𝐱𝐧𝐼𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐱𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧” 𝐰𝐱𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐧𝐡đČđ©đžđ§ 𝐡đČ𝐼𝐧𝐠 đ„đąđ§đž 💋

warning: a little sugestive (making out )

a/n: if you are under 16+ then please, dni, I mean that's just some making out, but I will feel bad with the thought that someone really young read that

Heeseung:

you were at your friend’s party and someone suggested to play “spin the bottle”

your friends spined, it stopped on you

“Truth or dare?” a guy you didn’t know asked you

“Dare” as a baddie you are obliviously, you picked dare because hey, what can possibly happen, right?

"Play 7 minutes in heaven with Heeseung" you actually didn’t expect that, but you’re not going to back out 🙄

you went to bathroom, and you friend locked the door

LITERALLY a second after that, Heeseung stood infront of you like 🧍

“What are you-“ he cut you up with his lips on yours

this kiss was hot

he putted one of his hands on your waist and the other one on the wall, next to your face

you placed your hands on his cheeks and then, when the kiss started to get sloppy and spicier, the doors opened

"You can leave" your friends said as you and Heeseung look at each other with blush on your cheeks and heavy breath

Jay:

i think he would be pretty chill about this whole thing

“You have to play 7 minutes in-“

“Yeah yeah, I get it, can we start?”

“Bro, you don't even know who will be locked with you”

"Ok, can we hurry up please?"

he was just really bored, but when he heard your name, he started to hurry things up even more

"Y/N, come on! Hurry up, I don't have time!"

when you guys were finally alone, he started to flirt

"U know ... your lips look so cold, I can warm them with mine" *wink*

his pickup lines were so bad, you felt sorry from him 😭

he wasn't expecting you to actually laugh at his awful pickup lines, so he just shut you up with his lips

he lied about your cold lips because they weren’t cold

they were soft

kiss was delicate and nice, but he wanted something more ... spice????

when he was about to start going further, the doors opened

"Jay, you can leave now cause as I remember, you "don't have time” do you?"

Jay promised himself that he will make out with you another time, after all he didn’t embarrassed himself infront of you for nothing

Jake:

ok hear me out besties ❗❗❗

so
Jake hadn’t his first kiss yet

i mean like, a real kiss, not a peck on a lips when he was 6, from a girl in kindergarten

he might seem experienced but his not

his friends knew that all of course

they also knew that Jake has the biggest crush on you from first year of high school, so they invented you to their house for “a big party 🎉 “ (they lied about that “big” part) and made you play some games with them

you started really innocent

first game you played was monopoly

then “spin the bottle” comes up

and when it were your turn to pick a challenge, Sunghoon asked “truth or dare”

you pick truth

that answer wasn’t expected, you ruined their plan ngl, but Hee came up with a new one, brighter one

“Ok, tell us about your most embarrassing moment in your entire life" Heeseung said with a big grin on his face

now, you’re the one surprised

your face literally said 😧

obviously you don't want to do this, so you try to back out

"You know what? I will pick dare then 😁"

"But you're 100% sure? You can't back out this time" Heeseung warned you, but you still decided to go for it and said quick "yeah"

"Go to that closet and play 7 minutes in heaven with, hmm
Jake!" you looked at him and his face was like “what 😀”

he was literally so shocked that his hands started to sweat a little, but he still was kind of happy

"Ok, I guess” you reply

so let’s move on to the moment when Jay and Sunghoon lock you up with Jake in not very big closet

at first it was so awkward

he had not kissed anyone in his life, so he doesn't even know what to do and where to start

"So are we supposed to kiss or-?”

"I- like- I haven't kissed anybody ... ever"

"It's totally fine if you don't want to kiss me, we can just sit here and-"

"Naur! I want to kiss you, but I don't really know how
"

boys, were dying from cringe on the outside of the closet â˜ ïžđŸ˜

"Come closer" he did as you told him

"And just go with the flow" once again he did as you said

BOOM BOW HE WAS KISSING YOU

it wasn’t as hard as he thought

he feels a thousands of butterflies in his stomach

you started to move your lips, and he did the same

kiss from second to second was getting sloppier and in the end it looked like the kiss from gif

he was like hungry (?? idk it sounds creepy) cause it feels so nice and he wanted more

he has his hands awkwardly placed on his knees, and you have yours on both sides of his arms

"Get out of here, horny perverts!" Jay scolded both of you when he open the closet door and saw what he saw

Sunghoon:

he didn't want to play in the first place

he was tried after a long day so he just wanted to sleep

even when he heard that you also will play the game

but his friends forced him to play it

he was so annoyed that he HAVE to sit here when he clearly doesn’t want to

"You and Y/N will get locked up” those words mostly his name but let’s say that yours too broke him from his thought

"What?" he said, still annoyed and more tired

his friends told him what's going on, so he stood up and made his way to one of the rooms in which you will be locked with him

you went after him and sit on the room’s bed

door was already closed, and you played with your fingers

"let's cuddle" he said all of a sudden, and you looked at him a little confused

"Huh?"

"L-E-T-S C-U-D-D-L-E, u know, we can kiss and after that go to sleep"

"You’re really sleepy, aren’t you?"

"Yeah, a bit”

"So we can go to sleep right away, I don’t mind having a small nap"

"But who said I want to waste a kiss from you?"

his answer made you blush

he approached you and lay on the bed next to you

"Lay down please" he told you, and you did that

after that he hug you, and he kissed your forehead, then your nose and lastly, he kissed your lips

it wasn't making out, that’s a fact

it was very sweet cuddling

after some minutes of kissing softly, the doors opened

"Get out!" Sunghoon muttered hiding his head in the crock of your neck

"But the time is over, you can leave now"

"GET OUT!" and then you were again alone

“I don't bite”

I Don't Bite

warning: none, just flirty af jake as a hot vampire

“Y/N come downstairs, the guests are here!” your mom screamed, and her words gave you shiver. 'They came with their son, for sure' is the first thing you thought as you walked down the stairs. Once you were down, you saw what you feared most: Mr. and Mrs. Sim with their son Jake. It’s not like you didn’t like him, he’s simply annoying. The boy grinned at the sight of you, and you saw his snow-white teeth, but most of your attention was caught by his sharp fangs

“You know what you should say Y/N!” your dad scolded you for being “non polite”

“Good evening” you bowed politely, at which two adults smiled at you

“Take your friend upstairs, ok?” your mom suggested, and you directed your gaze from her to Jake, who seemed to like your mother’s idea

“Come on” you said to him, making your way to the stairs, not caring if he will go after you or not. The sound of steps behind you meant that he actually listened to you. You went straight to your room and then turned around to see that Jake was standing in front of your room waiting for your invitation

“You can come in” you announced, letting him in with your words. He entered your room, closing a door behind himself. You layed down on the bed and closed your eyes, for a moment forgetting that you are not alone in the room, but after a while you felt like a bed is bowing next to your body. You opened your eyes and Jake was lying right next to you, watching your face with kind of interest. Feeling his piercing gaze, you quickly sat up and moved away from him

“Pretty as always” he said, touching your shoulder with his cold like ice fingers

“Don't!” you mumbled, moving away even further, not wanting to feel his weirdly nice-feeling touch on you. After a second Jake also sat up and moved closer to you

“You don’t have to move away from me, cutie, I don't bite” a stupid smile appeared on his face “but I have to be honest, I could eat you whole up” he whispered in your ear and bit it lightly, making you shiver at this

“Leave me alone” you muttered, trying to make a bigger distance between your bodies, but unfortunately for you, there wasn’t enough space on your bed which cause you to fell off of it. Jake burst out laughing and all you did was turn red from embarrassment and anger. When he finally got a grip on himself, he turned to you

“Are you ok?” he asked, sticking out his hand to you, but you stood up yourself, not wanting his help after he laughed at you for a 3 minutes straight

“Yes, I’m ok” your face was like a big tomato. Being invisible was your only wish in that moment. Seeing your furious expression and red cheeks, the young vampire grinned wide

“You're so cute” and then he touched gently tip of your nose

This evening will be long, very long

Cold!Sunghoon talking about his crush with his mother

Cold!Sunghoon Talking About His Crush With His Mother
Cold!Sunghoon Talking About His Crush With His Mother
Cold!Sunghoon Talking About His Crush With His Mother

this is a part of this

"Hi" he said to her, and she turned around, now facing him

"Oh, Hey Hoon!" she said, looking at her son with a big smile on her face. A smile turned into suspicious face tho, after seeing his weirdly happy expression

"Oh, Hey Hoon!" she said, looking at her son with a big smile on her face. A smile turned into suspicious face tho, after seeing his weirdly happy expression

Something doesn’t feel right

"Why are you so smiley today, huh?”

Seeing Sunghoon THAT happy just doesn’t feel right

It's not like she doesn't want him to be happy, but he is a little closed, and he barely showed emotions, so it was really rare to see him like this

"I don't know what are you talking about" he smiled even brighter to his mother

"Oh, come on, tell me!" Mrs. Park whine, being curious about reasons of Sunghoon's happiness

"I got paired to do history project with Y/N!"

"And who this Y/N is?" women asked a little confused. She heard that name before, for sure, but she didn’t remember who’s this name is

"She is Hoonie's girlfriend!" Hyeji screamed while she runned into the kitchen

"She's not!
not yet” Sunghoon mumbled two last words, looking down

"Oh so it's THAT Y/N!" Mrs.Park clapped her hands as an act of realization

"Yeah.... I will meet with her tomorrow in the school’s library and I can't wait for it!" his excitement was painted all over his face and he looked like he is about to explode from all this emotions. His mother laughed at how her son acted. Then Sunghoon went to his room to choose the best outfit for tomorrow and Mrs. Park thought about how happy she is for her son she also wished him luck on his little “date not date”

Enhypen x Yandere!readerđŸ«€đŸ’‹

Enhypen X Yandere!reader
Enhypen X Yandere!reader
Enhypen X Yandere!reader

warning: yandere theme, mention of death, mention of suicide

Heeseung:

You and Heeseung were a couple for over a year now, he was your high school sweetheart, the love of your life!

Yet he still wanted to leave you!? After all this time? The pain you felt because of him was unbelievable, but you still love him, so obviously you won’t let him go that easily

You CAN'T let him go, if you do then you will be left alone in this cruel world, without him you have no reason to be still alive

He is the reason why you're still breathing, why you’re still eating, and why you’re still existing

“Please Heeseung, don’t do this to me! I love you! Why did you stop loving me! What did i do!?” You cried out on your knees before your boyfriend, you know how pathetic you must look, but hey! This way you can show him how much he means for you, how much you are willing to do for him

"Y/N stop please
get up" he said, looking down at you with a pity in his eyes, he’s starting to feel bad

"You don’t understand how much you mean to me! You’re my only reason to live! If you leave me, then i will kill myself, cause i can’t just move on from you!! You want me to die?!" your cries got louder, tears spilling from your red eyes like a fountain

Your words + the way you look right now made Heeseung feel extremely guilty, you broke him, just like you wanted to :))

He crouched and hugged you tightly, one of his hands on your waist, the other stroking your head to calm you down from you histeria

"Please forgive me baby! I love you
. I wont leave you" he whispered and you nodded, hugging him back as tight at he does, but you knew, deep down, that his words are straight up lies, he’s still gonna meet that slut behind your back

So, if you want to be 100% sure about his loyalty, you have to get rid of the main problem
.

You have to kill that bitch, who tried to take Heeseung away from you, she’s not worth living anyway, and when she’ll finally disappear, everything will go back to the way it was before she ruined it

I mean, every action has consequences, she worked for what will happen to her, and you’ll make sure that she’ll understand that

Jongseong:

Is it normal that best friends are jealous about other people? Or is it normal that best friends want to kill for each other?

The answer is simple: T O T A L L Y !!! After all, that’s just different way of showing the other one you care for them

Jongseong was your best friend since kindergarten, he was the first kid who talked to you, he was your super hero when a boy pushed you of the swing in the 1st grade, he was there for you after your first break up (that night you realized that he would be 100 times better boyfriend for you)

And then, he wanted someone else? He wanted a girlfriend? You are his girlfriend , maybe not the one he meant but you have no problem in becoming one if he wants! Can’t he understand that he only needs you? You know him like your own hand, no one can replace you! It’s so simple yet he can’t see that

That night, when he came to your house, crying about his crush dying in a car accident, you obviously comforted him the best you can, you were there for him, just like he was there for you every time you needed him the most

But you just coudn't stop the smile on your face to appear when you hugged him

You did it! She wasn’t a threat anymore! Now your Jongseong can be REALLY yours, only yours

Jaeyun:

He is YOUR boyfriend and you are HIS girlfriend, your were loyal to him, and he sweared that he’s loyal to you too, but then he’s still looking at other girl, greeting then when you go for a walk with layla, even texting some of them, it doesn’t matter if it’s only for study purposes

Men are just liars, you shouldn’t believe him when he confessed his true love for you, when he told you, you have no reason to be jealous

"Do you even love me? You’re probably seeing someone else without me knowing, huh? How could I be so stupid and believe you!" you yelled at him with anger visible in your face

"Baby, stop those nonsense! I love you, you know I do! I swear to god!" he reached for your hand, but you knew better that that what he’s trying to do, he thinks one touch and you will be on your knees for him, but you’re not that dumb

"Liar!! Who is it?! I bet it’s that Jennifer girl! Am I wrong?!" suddenly your voice changed dramatically, from female rage to hysteric cries “Why are you like this Jake? Am I not enough? I’m trying my best!” you cried in your hands, your knees getting weaker and you just felt like passing out

"I'm sorry Y/N! Please don't cry! I won’t look at any other girl ever again if it means you’re not going to cry because of me ever again!" He hugged you to his chest, kissing he the top of your head, and caressing your back

You smiled, cause let’s be honest, you’re not the stupid one in this relationship

Sunghoon:

Perfection.

This word can describe Park Sunghoon and his ice skating perfectly, his style and skills are just amazing, everyone knew that

You- as his skating partner- have to be as perfect as he is, if you’re not, your imperfections can ruin his image, and that’s something unacceptable

You were sure that you weren’t enough for him, but someone else was, the only problem being her looks- she just didn’t much him visually, but you did

That’s why your coach told you that Sunghoon will be paired up with her till you improve, you felt like shit after hearing this but you just nodded, it’s not like there’s anything else you could’ve done

That week you practiced super hard, motivated by the sight of Sunghoon with this stealer, your exhaustion was pretty visible, but you didn’t care, not when your partner is holding her hand instead of yours, not when his hands are on her waist, lifting her in the air

You have to get your position back, no. matter. what.

The jealousy was eating you for the inside, and you knew that you can’t live like this any longer

I were thinking about the plan to be Sunghoon’s pair again, and then, like a gift from universe, the opportunity came to you by itself: she was walking down the stairs to the skating ring, no one around to caught you, no cameras, just a perfect chance you couldn’t loose

You weren’t thinking straight, it’s like something had clouded your mind

You pushed her with all your strength, the push was fully personal, all your jealousy and rage was putted in it

She fell, and you watched as her body rolled down the stairs, then you watch her unconscious body- she was alive, but she won’t know who did this to her, you were supposed to be home at this hour so you’re out of the suspect’s list

The next day, as you expected, your coach told you and Sunghoon that she broke her leg, and you will be paired up together again, a smile made it’s way to your face, the coach even praised you, telling you, you’ve improved enough to be Sunghoon’s partner again either way

“I missed you, I couldn’t wait for you to be my pair again! She wasn’t as pretty as you, you know” Sunghoon said, as soon as the coach disappeared from your sight

Your smile became bigger, not only because Sunghoon said he missed you and called you pretty, but also because pushing this idiot down those stairs was worth it

Jungwon:

Your brother started attempting taekwondo classes after school, which you didn’t really care about, till he called you one monday afternoon, and asked you if you could come by and drop him his lunch that he forgot

You were about to tell him to piss off and buy something near, or to not waste your time, but then you thought it over- he would probably snitch on you to your parents- so you agreed

You stepped into the practice room, and the second you layed your eyes on the circle your brother was sitting in, your heart started to beat faster

Right next to your sibling, was the most breathtaking and cute guy you have ever seen, it was a love from the first sight

When he looked at you, a blush appeared on your cheeks and you looked away, hurriedly giving your brother his food and making your way out of the room

from that day, you started to bring lunch for your brother every monday, sometimes even staying longer to watch Jungwon their practice

After quite some time of crushing on Jungwon, you decided to tell him about your feelings- the worst thing he can do is reject you, but he won’t do that, right?

“I’m really sorry Y/N, I like you and I think you’re awesome, but I’m not looking for any relationship now” He shrugged, with an apologetic smile on his face

You froze, blinking was the only think you’re body could do in that moment, your brain stoped working

You couldn't understand that, it’s clear that universe wants you two together, that monday when you saw him for the first time, it’s was destiny who told her to go! Can’t he see that?!

He’s just lying to himself! He must feel the same way! Was he leading you on this whole time?! It’s not possible, he’s not like that!

"Oh
okay" you said with a blank expression

He’s probably playing hard to get, he wants to know how much would you do for him, how long can you wait for his love, but you’re patient, you will be together at the end, you’ll make sure he will understand that you’re made for each other

Sunoo:

You were just shy, quiet worker in small café

It was August 2nd, 5 pm., really warm, summer day- the day you met your soulmate, your lover, your obsession

He ordered ttaebokki with coke zero- kinda weird combination but you didn’t care, all that mattered is that he smiled at you and even said you have nice hair, he was obviously flirting with you, even someone blind would notice

You hated him for how flustered he made you feel by this simple interaction, and you hated yourself even more for not flirting back

Since that day, you’re like his shadow, you even befriended some of his friends so now you’re kinda in a same friend group

Only recently you have confessed you love for him in a letter, where you have confessed everything you fell for in him

When he called the cops and told them he has a stalker, you were a little confused, you didn’t see anyone around him who would possibly stalk him, but you promised yourself that you will find this motherfucker and made them regret scaring you lover

Riki:

In Riki's eyes, you're just his nice desk mate, but in your eyes he’s your whole world, and every time he asked you to borrow a pen or a pencil, you knew that he’s doing that only to get your attention- you found it really cute

every glance he send you made you warm inside, he really is in love with you

You were so in love with him that you didn’t care When he told his hyungs that you're a little weird, what you cared about was the fact that he talked about you to them! It’s not important what he had told them! Maybe he even talks about you to his family!!? That would be like a dream!

Your final push to confess to him was when he complained your outfit: “You look great today” he said and smiled, he has to like you back

What’s confused you is his reaction when you told him you’re meant to be, because if he likes you back, why would he tell you to stay away from him and run away? I guess you just have to give him some time! :))

Here you are, on Jake's lap, with guitar in your arms and with your boyfriend's arms around you

His hands over yours were guiding them on guitar strings

"Wow, You're doing very good baby" he praised you just like a minute ago

"Oh, it's ok, let's try again shall we?" he said when you didn't make a good sound

"That's it! Good girl!" he praised you once again

Even when you couldn't see his face, you were 100% sure he was smiling

And that's how you spent a whole night with him

You're such a lovely couple
