Hello Fallout community, may I offer a sole survivor oc in these trying times? A lot more info about her under the cut
TLDR: Pre War Property Lawyer trying to help rebuild the commonwealth while also trying to keep her unimaginable grief at bay. And also she has a ghoul friend (not Hancock) that helps her along the way.

This is Sunny Rhodes (yes she sees the irony in her name). She's an ex property lawyer that got frozen for 200 years as per usual. She's really good with any sort of rifle cause she does not know how to fight in close combat. She is quite possibly one of the smallest woman in the commonwealth and is wearing clothes that are way too big for her. She has several medical issues due to the fact she was kept in a refrigerator for 200 years. She feels cold all the time so she always wears layers.
She sped ran through the 5 stages of grief after her husband died but also not really. She keeps all of her emotions bottled up except not really because she was hot (or cold) mess after leaving the vault. The only reason she's not dead is because she was helped by a very friendly ghoul that saved her from the vault. Her charisma is a 7 (maybe even more if fo4 gave me fnv stats) cause she's really good at reading people but she can't use that stat to its full potential cause she's going through it right now.
She use to be a property lawyer before the bombs. She makes it her sole mission to help every settlement and also improve their housing. She is not letting that degree go to waste, apocalypse be damned. And also she is surprisingly very good at fixing and building stuff?
She travels around the commonwealth with a lot of people. She's besties with Nick and Piper. But the one she's usually seen with is a ghoul from the south that's new to the commonwealth, and yet they act like they've known each other for years. (he's another oc that I will eventually get around to drawing)

Sunny and Piper are besties, the girliest of friends, gal pals one would say
Sunny considers Piper her closest friend (Collin is family), even if Piper can be a bit headstrong and brash Sunny genuinely enjoys her company
Piper appreciates how genuine Sunny is. She also kinda saw Sunny as a bit naive when they first met so she took it upon herself to show Sunny the way around Diamond City

Random sketches I did of Sunny and Collin, exploring more of their dynamic. I like to think their special stats are exact opposites, so while Sunny has high charisma and perception, Collin has high endurance and luck
Eventually when word gets out that the vault dweller is actually related to the mystery ghoul they get asked a lot of questions. Though they don't really humor them with specific answers.

When they first left the Vault, Sunny and Collin had very different feelings about the situation
Sunny, to her knowledge, had just lost everything her home, her family, her entire life, she truly had nothing left. Except for the man who had rescued her from her icy prison. She clung onto him like a lifeline. The only thing keeping her from just collapsing on the ground and letting herself rot on the floors of that vault
Collin had just found his long dead sister. Trapped in an icebox, having lost her entire world. To her, it had felt like yesterday. To him, it was a lifetime ago. He was confused at the situation, angry at whoever had done this, determined to help,
and selfishly, he couldn't help but feel happy

My New Sole Survivor for Fallout 4, Rose ‘Gears’ Elmwood. I’ve yet to create her due to stuff, but I think she’ll be awesome.

Im really gonna mess the Hamilton and founding fathers up with my character. Called Alexander Hamilton and he gets with John hancock got to love fallout and ghouls.
At some point I'll draw up pre ghoul Alexander but honestly I thive off ghouls.
I need to work on my next Ghoul who I'm basing off my great grandfather. I'm calling him Reg after my grandad tib.
being into fallout is so wild sometimes because if you say “I’m in love with John Hancock” people are either gonna assume you’re horny for a founding father or a Hamilton fan like no ma’am actually I’m a ghoulfucker

Game: fallout 3, but makes an appearance in both NV and 4
Age: 19, 23 and 29
Alliance: brotherhood of steel before once again becoming the lone wanderer.
Sexuality: Gay
Romance: Charon
weapon of choice: is Anti-materiel rifle
Quick history: Bean had a lot of medical skill due to his father teaching him. Due to his father leaving the vault he decided he needed to find him, he meets charon while in the underworld and in turn pays 2000 caps for his contract to free him. All tho it doesnt all go according to plan. along the way he find himself in the company of his childhood bully, a dog he saved from raiders and a 200 year old ghoul who he gains feeling for.

Wrapon of choice: ak 47, mine's and bombs
Quick history: six after taking a bullet to the head is now on a revenge mission for the man who has taken everything from them. Six meets Boone along the way and gains a close bond with him until the legion kill the sniper. After this event Six is left with a heavy heart and revenge that has left them hollow, Six eventually goes with the happy trials caravan when they meet Joshua, Six forms a bond with him.
Tika Watson

Game: fallout 4
Age: 30, 240
Sexuality: Bisexual
Alliance: Rail road/ minutemen
Romance: Nate Watson, Nick Valentine
Weapon of choice: shot gun, pistols and plasma rifle.
Quick history: Tika is celebrity akin to Marilyn Monroe, she has played in Grognak the Barbarian,the silver shroud and is the original face of Nuka cola. From audio plays, movies and adds for company's she eventually has time off from the big screen to have her son.
After the bombs hit she loses everything and the only thing she is striving for is to find her son and get revenge on the man who killed her husband. Tika meets Nick by accident while snooping around abandoned vaults with dogmeat, Nick Valentine become a permanent residency in her life as she becomes his partner in helping stop crime and he helps her find her son, both of them pass around jokes and references that only each other get.
Alexander Hamilton
General of the Minutemen
Game:fallout 4 but has an appearance in fallout 3.
Age: 33, 43
Sexuality: pansexual
Alliance: Minutemen
Romance: John hancock
Weapon of choice: laser Weapons of all kinds
Quick history: Alexander is first seen in fallout 3 when he was still human he is trying to make his way from Megaton to Diamond City. He had a quick convosation with the lone wanderer before he isn't seen until 10 years later. In fallout 4 he has transformed into a glowing Ghoul after getting lost at the glowing sea. When the sole survivor meets him, Alexander has found his way to Nuka cola world where he mornes the death of Oswald. He goes with Tika back to Sanctuary where he helps around as much as possible before being appointed General of the Minutemen by both Tika and Preston. This is how he eventually ends up meeting hancock.
I finally found this piece of Nick and Tika I got commissioned back in 2018 it's been a good few years but they are still one of my favourite pieces I've gotten commisoned
An idea for the sole survivor,
Ok so, the bombs drop and the quality of life massively decreases (of course) along with the quality of air. At first it completely toxic and many of these who survive the initial bombs drop dead form the air pollution. But we as humans are incredibly resilient and learn to adapt, as time goes on people grow increasingly more resistant to the toxic air. 200 hundred years later, basically everyone in the commonwealth and all over post apocalyptic America is immune to the toxic air. But the sole survivor ,being pre war and trap in a freezer with no exposure to the radiation world (except for like 5 minutes when Kellogg kidnapped Shaun, waking everyone up). Hasn’t grown the immunity to the toxic air like everyone else. So they have to wear a gas mask or a rebreather everywhere or they choke to death cause of the radiation.
Does this make sense?
