VAPURGATORY - a Brief Vaporwave Documentary
Everyone who is not to familiar with what vaporwave is and why is here and why it was made, should really take a listen to this. This guy seriously hits the nail on the head with explaining it.
My best friend’s brother drives us home from the gas station.
He grew up behind my back.
Past orange street lamps
Filtered down through navy green leaves.
Past the homes of warm families
Who aren’t concerned about the electric bill.
(It’s due tomorrow)
Past the house where I had my first kiss,
Practicing to Pulp Fiction.
Her house hasn’t changed once,
Neither has her mother.
Maybe that’s why it’s so heart wrenching;
I defile who I could have been.
I feel that little girl.
Would she know me?
Now I'm just thinking of that one game where you'd play as a zookeeper and you feed hippos watermelon. I used to play it a lot, actually!
...Sadly, I can't remember what the game's called.
So is it just me or does anyone else miss what television was like before streaming where we had seasons back to back and more than 8-10 episodes, and our favorite series wasn't getting cancelled constantly? That's right I'm talking about Disney plus and Netflix cause they good for doing that shit 😑
Just finished the series My Babysitters a Vampire and am feeling pretty miffed. I recently discovered that it was on Netflix and was feeling nostalgic so I decided to rewatch the whole series and the movie. First off this series was really good and well produced for a Disney Channel show and I don't know why they canceled it in the first place. Upon reaching season 2 I also realized that I had watched maybe 3 episodes in that whole season and it was actually a great season but heads up it leaves you on a major cliffhanger that may never be resolved. If you see this post or have watched the show a can recommend any other shows or movies similar to this on Netflix please leave a comment.
