What if, and hear me out here, streaming services stoped fucking canceling their shows before they’re done
That would be magical
I was thinking, (and I know there are too many logistics to this, but) what if there was a streaming service dedicated to picking up and making new seasons of cancelled shows. All with the same cast, writers, budget, everything. And the show wouldn’t end until it was properly finished. How amazing would that be.

So is it just me or does anyone else miss what television was like before streaming where we had seasons back to back and more than 8-10 episodes, and our favorite series wasn't getting cancelled constantly? That's right I'm talking about Disney plus and Netflix cause they good for doing that shit 😑

Art is slowly crumbling under the weight of capitalistic expectations.
when money takes precedence over art, your favourite shows get cancelled, and new ones get made, but your new subject of obsession is soon deemed unprofitable and disappears into the void that is greedy pockets, until a new successor emerges, itself burdened with a prophecy of success until it inherently fails, doomed by the narrative
because the idea of profits has conflated with that of worth and art is slowly crumbling under the weight of capitalistic expectations
