Fera - Tumblr Posts
Summary: Another one of my OCs tries to comfort Anabella. Does it go well? You'll have to read and see. A couple of things to note! This is set in the Fusion AU (explanation here). Fera is an empath and also has pathokinesis that primarily comes into play when she's overwhelmed, it's not something she controls; she only deals in negative emotions, so life is kinda tough. She is the sunshine I referred to in the tags the other day.
"Bella?"
"Oh, hey Fera." Anabella hastily wiped the tears from her cheeks. She was sitting on a plush mini sofa in the back corner of the library. She took an obvious, shaky breath, trying to compose herself enough to be presentable to others. Hatred from breaking down oozed from her. Fera, who had felt the concentration of the potent emotions from half the library away cocked her head, trying to get a better read on the distressed girl in front of her.
"You're not okay. But you will be," Fera's statement was decisive, as strange as it was.
Bella's forehead crinkled as she considered the brighter girl's words, "Excuse me?"
Fera shrugged, "I'm an empath that helps the school counselor. I know these things, even if I don't want to sometimes."
“Huh. How has your day been?” clearly in uncomfortable territory, Bella attempted to redirect the conversation.
Fera recognized what she was doing, but decided to play along, "Pretty good. We got some seeds that came in for gardening club, and I had a quiz that I think I did okay on. What about you?"
Bella swallowed before replying, carefully monitoring her tone, "Good enough. I had some spare time in study hall to work on a side project that I submitted to a local expo last week for approval." Her voice was low with scattered pauses as she attempted to regain control.
"Have you gotten the results back yet?" sensing she was nearing a part of the issue by emotional surges, she pushed on.
"Yes," Bella's voice was small and thick with unshed tears. She cleared her throat, composing herself again. "I found out about an hour ago. I didn't make it."
"Are you okay with that?" Fera prodded.
Bella's voice shook, "I'm fine." She grew angry at her lack of control.
Fera hid a smirk. As awful as it was, and as unpleasant as it was to battle someone else's inner turmoil, she found some satisfaction in helping people with their problems. Like weeding out a garden, so the nicer plants could grow. "I'll repeat what I said earlier: it's okay not to be okay. And eventually the un okayness will pass." Bella wrinkled her nose at the grammatic fault.
"And you're sure?" Bella's skepticism of Fera was palpable as she eyed her.
"Pretty sure," Fera shrugged again. "Statistically, you know it's true. And I've seen it myself. You'll feel better eventually."
Bella mumbled incoherently against her knees, which were pulled against her chest.
Fera squished in beside her, resting a comforting hand on Bella's back. She silently grimaced as she sensed the broken ball's emotions turn for the worse. Her hand rose and fell on the back beneath her palm.
Bella snapped up, throwing Fera's arm back. "But what if I'm never going to feel better?! People keep saying I will be, but I'm not okay. I don't have a social life -" She cut off Fera as her mouth opened to protest, "It's faked. Any success you see is because of study. No one else studies to talk to their peers. NO ONE SAYS PEERS IN A CASUAL ENVIRONMENT!!” Her fury died down the minute it started, like a raging waterfall collapsing into a slow-moving trickle. “I just… I wish I was normal.” She collapsed into Fera’s embrace, her shoulders shaking with silent tears. Fera ran her fingers through the chestnut brown ringlets cascading just past the jacket-clad shoulders.
Fera started reciting a version of the words she’d heard so many times sitting in, or sitting in on a counselor session, “It’s okay not to be okay. But it’s also okay to ask for help.” A fresh wave of melancholy washed over her as Bella heaved a choked up sigh. “It’s okay to not be perfect, and no one will hate you for that. Talk to one of us before you have another breakdown like this, okay?” She felt the flow of fear and anxiety slow. Going with a hunch, she continued with her soft words, “Repressing your emotions isn’t helpful.” Nothing. The deep well of emotions coming from Bella disappeared. The void was disconcerting. She could almost feel the rumble of deep, uncontrolled discontentment. “It may seem helpful in the moment, but it’s not healthy.” A flash of melancholy broke though, quieted almost immediately. Slowly, Bella rose. Her eyes were still puffy with tears, but she had an expression of measured calm on her face.
“Thank you,” she said simply. “I’ll try to keep that in mind.” Her voice was rough from the tears, and she felt her emotional wall slipping, but she pushed past, denying it. Her footsteps echoed through the nearly empty library as she walked towards the exit. As the sun hit her, she almost believed the calm and content façade she kept up. Almost. She’d have to talk to Fera again. Sometime. Someday when she had time to dedicate to more trivial things in life, like emotions. Someday.

Fera is one of my favorites. She's an absolute sweetheart and I would kill for her. She's an incredibly strong empath, having absorbed most of the power of her twin, Vera. She only feels others' negative emotions, which makes it hard to be around a lot of people, particularly in high school. She loves gardening and Tiny Things, like miniature clay sculptures, mushrooms, and figurines. She helps out the school counselor, runs the gardening club (which coincidentally coincides with basketball practice), and loves biology. She's super close to her sister, and appreciates all her support, and thinks Vera's protectiveness is very sweet. Also! Vera is @pagesofcursive character that was created with Fera

I did hint at writing here, and look! I followed through. I used this prompt, so enjoy the hurt comfort featuring Fera and Nala
“You don’t have to talk, we can just sit together.” Fera enveloped her girlfriend in a hug. Nala melted into her embrace as she succumbed to her silent sobs.
To anyone else, Nala could have passed as content. She was capable of masking her emotions and could do it well. No one could have seen her as cheery, but none but Fera would have sensed the turmoil underneath. Nala felt surprisingly small in her arms for someone usually so big and confident. Her normally self-assured stature was completely compromised; earlier that day her shoulders had been hunched in a plush hoodie. Anyone who knew her well might be able to read her sadness, although they couldn’t know the acuteness of the feeling. It was enough to make Fera stumble as she had skipped over to greet Nala that morning. Nala had straightened up quickly and plastered on a smile. They both knew that Fera was well aware of how awful Nala was feeling, but silently, they agreed to confront it later.
It had finally spilled over at lunchtime; Nala had pulled Fera aside from the garden and led her to a secluded spot in the school. The nook was picturesque, with fake grass cushioning Fera as she leaned against the live oak tree, basked in dappled sunlight. Fera watched the clouds move through the leaves, trying to anchor herself in the world. Nala’s emotions were an ocean, wave after wave crashing over her. Grief. Anger. Frustration. Hatred. Sadness. She struggled to stay afloat, knowing what would happen if she lost control. She rubbed Nala’s back slowly, relishing in the cloth fibers’ consistent texture on her skin. She let her fingers glide down her spine, tracing each ridge and steadying her thoughts and the emotions under her control. Slowly, Nala’s breathing leveled out, becoming measured and rhythmic.
“I’m so sorry. I hate to burden you. This must be so unbearable.” Nala’s apology was muffled by Fera’s cardigan-clad side. Her voice was quiet and raw with emotion.
Fera stroked her fingers through the dark curls, being careful to not get snagged. “You’re never a bother to me. For you, I could bear the weight of the sky. Besides,” she reassured, “I’ve felt worse. Do you want to tell me about it?”
Nala shook her head, her curls tickling Fera’s wrist.
“Okay. How about I tell you about my day?”
Fera felt the thrum of Nala’s agreement on her palm.
“Well, I woke up today to find Vera having a crisis with one of her plants. The flowers were wilting on one of them since its flowering season was over, but since she knows next to nothing about plants, no thanks to me, she was worried it was dying. Goodness knows why she hasn’t asked me before.” She paused, then said, “On second thought, I think that was one of Madelyn’s. I guess she didn’t want to ask for her help so it wouldn’t make her look bad.” She chuckled. Vera’s dedication to Madelyn was very sweet and made her prone to many comedic moments. “And when I got to school today, it was a bit of a roller coaster. I got to see my favorite person in the world.” She kissed Nala’s near-black hair. “But something ruined their day. So I’ve been a little distracted plotting to destroy whatever upset her.” Nala huffed as the tide of emotions ebbed. “And during lunch, I did busy work in the school gardens. Just weeding and turning soil.” Fera turned Nala’s head gently to gaze at her face. The intensity of her deep chocolate brown eyes never failed to floor her, but it broke her heart to see the roaring spirit behind them reduced to a barely flickering candle. Her eyelashes were clumped together with tears and her eyes were puffy. Fera planted a kiss on Nala’s forehead. “And then a beautiful girl invited me to a grove to let me do what I yearned to do all day. And that is to do anything I can to fix your problems. Be that listening to you venting, distracting you with my garbage storytelling of my average day, or just keeping you company as you collect yourself again."
Nala’s eyes softened, and Fera felt an almost imperceptible warm glow grow in her chest. She felt her cheeks redden to match.
“Thank you, my fairy,” Nala rasped, her throat still hoarse from crying.
Fera sprung up suddenly. “Just give me a minute!” she called over her shoulder as she dashed out of the area.
The rhythmic pounding of her feet against concrete was comforting as she ran through the school grounds. Reaching her bag by the gardening shed, she pulled out her reusable water bottle and started making her way back. Despite her comforting words to Nala, it was nice to be free of the intense emotions. She wasn’t lying when she’d promised to uphold the sky, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t enjoy peace for a few moments. Taking a breath of air, relishing in its clarity, she picked up her pace, eager to get back and spend more time with her girlfriend.
Tossing the bottle clumsily towards Nala’s still prone form on the plastic grass, Fera sagged in relief as she expertly caught the bottle. Nala twisted it open and took a long drink, sighing contentedly when she came up for air.
“Thank you again, sunflower. I don’t know what I’d do without you.” Nala’s voice was a little clearer after the water, much to Fera’s delight.
Fera smiled warmly as she sat back down next to Nala. “Well, we both know it’s a mutual thing. And you know you don’t have to thank me.” She pulled Nala in for another hug. “Do you want to talk about it now? Or is it still too fresh?” Fera amended her question as Nala’s emotions reared once again.
“Maybe later.” Nala nuzzled into Fera’s shoulder, almost knocking her over. “Can I come with you to your next class?”
Fera giggled and pushed her away a little, stooping down to look nose to nose at each other, their foreheads pressed together. “Well, as smart as you are, I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to miss class.”
“I don’t want to leave you though,” Nala whined pitifully.
A peal of laughter broke out as Fera caved. “Okay, okay. I have study hall next, so I’ll go ask my teacher if I can be out of the classroom.” The potentially overwhelming emotion from her teacher was made worth it to see joy bloom on Nala’s face.
“Promise?”
“I promise.” Fera punctuated her sentence with a tender kiss. “If you let me go now, we can walk to class together.”
“Hurry back, okay?”
“Of course.”

Another self indulgent post. I just love her so much
1 and 5 for the assorted oc asks for an oc of your choice!
I'll do these with Fera!
1. Why did you pick their name?
I love her name origin. So Briar @pagesofcursive typed fear wrong. We both thought it would be a good name, and I built her powers around that.
5. If they got a tattoo, what kind? If they have tattoos, what would their next one be?
I'm not entirely sure if she has a tattoo yet, but I know she'd get one eventually. She'd have a sprig of rosemary on her upper arm and a mini aloe vera on her ankle, for her twin
Fera and Nala are sitting in the middle and are taking up 1 1/2 of the two seats they have since Fera is sitting on Nala's lap with her legs stretched out. They're sharing earbuds and enjoying the sun while listening to Willow (a black wlw singer) Fera is fiddling with some clay because the teachers on this bus are suffering greatly.
Victor-Hecate is pressed against the window sharing a seat with Tora. They're stressed being so close to Many People and also TORA GET YOUR HEAD BACK INSIDE! WE'RE GOING THROUGH A TUNNEL!! They are the only reason behind the lulls in chaos from Tora and Zach, but they don't have the heart to stop it most of the time; it's very entertaining and they love seeing their partner so happy.

What are your characters doing to keep themselves busy while on the ride there?
Is there anyone breaking rules, like sticking their head out the bus window or standing up?
Is there anyone trying to strike a convo with their teacher?
Do they have any guesses on where they’re going?
I want to write, but motivation is alluding me, so...

April Prompts Day 1 - Ladybug
Featuring: Fera and a brief mention of Vera, who belongs to @pagesofcursive
Pale and cheery, the sun shone overhead. With her feet spread out in front of her, Fera relished in the breeze that swept her short ginger curls around her face. She tilted her head up, squinting and watching clouds glide lazily by. It was a good day.
Sweet green treetops raced down her vision, followed by dense foliage sprinkled with light buds that were chased down by chocolate trunks, a spread of grass and finally, daffodils that shone brighter than the sun. She giggled under her breath as she ran her hands through the short blades, her fingers catching on shallow roots. Brushing her fingers against the edge of a smooth, boxy wooden planter, something clinked among the birdsong. Turning to face the noise, fuschia snapdragons wheeled around the edge of her vision. A tiny clay fairy lay toppled by her clumsy gestures. Sheepishly, she plucked up the periwinkle figure. She paused with the edge of the base resting in place, a flash of orange catching her eye. Focusing her attention away from the figurine she heard it tinkle back down. She winced, but soon forgot as a ladybug captured her gaze. Two horizontal pyramids of dots mirrored on the centre of its shell. The edges of her lips crept up as she laid her chin on her overlapping hands, catlike, as she watched it climb a normally unremarkable clay pot. Although small, the orange critter made quick progress up the black beans Fera was resetting the planter with. It wound its path around the top third of a pole and Fera's heart twisted, knowing it would leave her soon. She hoped it would remain in the garden at least, to join the others she'd begun to see again. She'd seen a two-spot ladybug a week ago, one she'd met right before winter. This amber friend was new. She resisted the urge to catch it; it would be so simple, just to cup her hands around it and bring it inside. She could show her sister, Vera, who loved orange ladybugs the most. It was almost too late now anyway. It reached the top of one of the support sticks. It stopped, as if to acknowledge its audience, as if saying farewell, as if reassuring Fera she would see it again. Maybe she was imagining things. It parted its shell, exposing delicate, translucent wings that extended into the slowly strengthening sunlight. It took off. Fera watched the ladybug for as long as she could, until the glare of the sun cast it into invisible light. A breeze curled around her ankles and a shy thump distracted her search of the sky for her newly lost friend. She bent down with a bittersweet smile, and righted the pale blue fairy with a red dot on its outstretched hand. A friend for them who would never say farewell. Another ladybug enjoying the pale spring sunshine.
April Prompts Day 3 - pastel
Featuring: Nala, Fera and Vera (@pagesofcursive character)
"I just don't know what to get." Nala paced nervously in the open plaza.
"I'm sure you can think of something," Vera's voice was tinny over the phone.
Nala groaned and sat down on a plastic bench facing a pathetic fountain, "I'm sure I could, but it's just… I don't know. Pressure? I want to impress her. It's just our anniversary, and I'm sure she has something amazing and-"
Vera interrupted with a chuckle, "I'm sure she definitely does. Hey, Fae!" she yelled away from the phone. A distant "yeah?" was heard in the background. Vera continued, "Have you got something for your and Nala's anniversary tomorrow?"
Nala heard stomping approach the phone and her heart fluttered in anticipation. "Not yet," she melted at Fera's severe tone. She was super cute most of the time, but when she was ticked she had had a lot of steam to blow off. "But I'm coming up with something. Besides," Nala could almost hear her glare at her twin, "why is it your business? I appreciate the concern, but you have your own relationship."
"Oh, no reason," humor was obvious in Vera's voice. "You see? Nothing to worry about, Nala."
"Wait, you're on the phone with Nala?" Fera's voice softened, but grew louder as she approached the phone. Nala let out an uncharacteristic squeak and hung up the phone, not ready to be confronted by a potentially judgemental girlfriend. She was probably overreacting, probably overthinking, and probably blowing it out of proportion. She took a breath. Calm. Steady. Rational. Ready to make a choice. Well, maybe not that far.
She heaved herself off the tacky green bench and meandered towards the shopping centre. A pair of basketball shoes caught her eye in a sports store window, but she stayed strong and kept moving. Maybe she could get Fera clothes? Was that too simple? She always did well with bright colours and pastels, right? That seemed too easy. But it was still better than nothing. Sighing heavily, she turned into the shop.
Half an hour later, she drooped out, empty handed. She had a dozen photos of ideas she came up with inside, but none of them seemed right. A tie dye shirt, lavender overalls, a pack of rainbow socks that would've been absolutely adorable, a baby blue circle skirt and a couple of other options for good measure. They all seemed too simple alone, but too busy together.
They twisted their mouth as they wracked their brain for more ideas. Wait. An orchid! Fera has been telling her about them for weeks. Her flower garden was flourishing, but she was missing an orchid from her patch. She beelined to the hardware store at the edge of the mall, which had a greenhouse next to it. She fought through hoards of people before squeezing into the shop. Five minutes later, she triumphantly strode out, a thigh high orchid in arm. It was gorgeous, even for someone who wasn't well versed in flowers. The centre petals had pale purple streaks, and the backing petals were a precious pastel pink. She did end up with something pastel after all. Should she get the socks? Would that go with the flowers? She decided to consult Vera again. She walked to her car and delicately placed the flowers on the bonnet and snapped a photo.
Nala: what do you think
Vera: really? You couldn't think of anything else
Nala: nice to know how much you think of me
Vera: it's my baby sister, what do you expect?
Vera: but it's a cute gift. i think she'll love it.
Nala: thabks
Nala: *thanks
Nala opened the passenger door and put the flower on the seat. Briefly contemplating, she pulled the seatbelt down to secure it. It might be silly, and possibly ineffective, but on the off chance it worked, it was worth the slight degredation. Nala slid over the bonnet to the other side and flung herself into the driver's seat. The pale petals caught the corner of her eye and she grinned giddily, imagining the look on her girlfriend's face when she'd see them.
April Prompts Day 6 - berry red
(finally! I am wayy behind but I'll do my best to catch up. Motivation has been low, and school has been piling up work, and exams are coming up and I should stop making excuses)
Featuring Fera and Nala
Fera hummed as she tended to her garden. The woods stretched beyond the cottage, bright and cheery, with birdsong echoing among the trees. She heard a pattering behind her, a small animal skittering around in her rows of cultivated crops. Sighing, she turned around and spotted a flash of brown heading towards the berry bushes. Her skirt swished around her ankles, the apron bouncing on top of it as she efficiently skirted around the boxes of squash and radishes, picking out weeds that grew on the edges of the path and planters as she went. She took too long. A now brown and berry red blur bolted past her, teasingly, and disappeared back into the forest. Exasperated, she approached the bushes and pulled back the leaves; the red currants were decimated. There were a few that were salvageable, and probably more if she looked closer, but currently it looked bad.
She heard clanking footsteps approach the front gate. With a hop and a skip, she zipped around the cottage to see Nala, still clad in her uniform.
“Hey, darling,” Nala murmured into her ear as she pecked Fera’s cheek.
Fera giggled and wrapped her arms around Nala’s neck. Immediately, she felt Nala’s hands on her own, pulling her off. “You’re home early today. Why?”
“I’m a little sore today, sorry sweetheart,” she explained, brushing off her question, “I can’t cuddle right now. Besides, it can’t be very pleasant to hug metal.”
Fera mumbled petulantly, “It’s not the same with you in it.”
“What was that?”
“Nothing,” she singsonged. “Can I get you something?”
“I think I’m okay. Just go back to the garden, I’ll settle down inside.”
Fera frowned, but went back to weeding. She lasted maybe five minutes before peeking inside one of their few small windows. Nala was sprawled out on a wooden bench pushed against the wall, still in her armor. Fera’s eyebrows furrowed deeper. She strode over to the back door and padded inside.
“Hey,” she called softly. Nala jumped, her armor clanking. “Do you need help getting out of that?”
“No! I mean, no thank you.” Panic fluctuated across Nala’s face.
“Come on,” she whined, giving her wife puppy dog eyes.
Nala caved quickly. “Fine.” She raised her left arm, allowing Fera to pull off the pauldron. Fera beckoned for her to hold up her other arm. She shook her head vehemently, gesturing to her chest piece.
“Please.”
Nala shook her head.
“It’ll be easier to take off the rest of it with it off.”
Nala’s curls bounced as she shook her head again.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Fera asked accusingly.
Fera kissed her cheek softly, whispering, “Please, baby.”
Huffing, Nala shook her head slightly again. Growling under her breath, Fera sat on top of her wife, pinning her down, and fitted her hands, rough from gardening, around the shoulder piece. Nala squawked indignantly and tried to push her off, but Fera persevered. Nala grew paler and paler, her eyes unfocusing a little as Fera pulled and wiggled the pauldron. With a yank, it came off, and Nala’s eyes rolled to the back of her head as she slumped back against the wall. Fera inhaled sharply, spotting what Nala was so desperate to hide. A growing patch of berry red was stark against the off-white of her undershirt. She hissed softly, lifting the sleeve to get a better look at the wound. It was poorly bandaged 一 thin cloth was laid against her shoulder barely stemming the blood 一 which explained why it leaked onto her shirt. Peeling off the fabric, she revealed a deep wound, about the width of an arrowhead. Practice gone awry, possibly. She drifted off to the kitchen to prepare a healing salve and find more suitable bandages. When she returned, Nala was still out cold. She pouted sympathetically as she spread the thick green paste, flinching away as Nala shifted. Steeling herself, she continued, elevating her arm to wrap the bandage around it. She stepped back, admiring her work. As she did so, Nala stirred, her eyes cracking open. Fera seized the opportunity, surging forward and taking advantage of her semi-wakeful state, and pulling her chest piece off. Nala grumbled vaguely and held up her almost naked shoulder, examining the bandage.
Nala sounded sheepish, “I didn’t want to worry you.”
“Oh, darling,” Fera melted a little, moving closer to sit on the bench. She wrapped a petite arm around her frame. Nala leaned into her embrace. “I just want you to be safe.”
🍂 What is your oc’s favourite colour? (PLEASE i love tiny little lore)
Thank you, Rose!! I'll do everyone since it's pretty simple Bella: Black - not because it's dark or angsty, it's just a classy colour that goes with everything. Zach: Magenta and navy blue, like his first plushy and his dad's uniform, respectively Freddie: Favourite colours are for people of lower intelligence (red and gold like Iron Man's suit) Fera: Purple - there's something complex, deep and soft about it that she really likes Nala: Green - any shade really, but mostly darker greens. It's just a nice colour and one that she's kind of adopted over the years. You don't want to know how many green flannels she has
Victor-Hecate: Burgundy - it’s just a nice cozy colour. Plus, her brother has fifty pajama shirts that are burgundy/maroon, so the colour reminds him of all the nights he spent comforting them.
Planty OC Ask Game
🌷🍀🏵️ for the spring ask game?
Hii Len!!
🌷 Does your oc have any collections? What of? Any reason why?
I have for some reason decided to make this question the master list of collections
Bella: Jars of tiny screws. Explained here
Zach: Stuffed animals. He's carrying on his mother's collection
Freddie: comics Superhero graphic novels. He's just a fan understatement
Fera: tiny, handmade clay sculptures. She grounds herself from others' feelings by having something to fiddle with. Also, all the things she makes are too adorable to scrap
Nala: pens. you know those tacky, not very good pens business give away? those, and green flannel. She's gay and likes green, what do you expect
VH: beanies. it began as a way to better protect them from contact and then it spiraled out of control
🍀 Who has the best luck of your ocs? The worst?
VH probably has the worst luck, considering the powers they got stuck with. And I'll give Fera the best luck (disregarding her own bad deal with powers) so she now finds pennies pretty much everywhere, and will almost never miss a bus
💮 What are your oc’s best skills?
VH is incredible at gymnastics. They go all out at their gym and are probably in the top five of their age group state-wide. They love being able to physically spend themselves, balancing out the hours they spend at home hiding from people
Fera can bring a garden back from the dead, and she's done it before. I'd say she works magic on it, but that's not her power. She's just great with plants.

6 and 15 (both ways) for fera and nala! :D and then 3 for them as well <3 (I want to ask all of the questions for them!)
Ahahaha!! My favourite couple. Thank you Briar
6. X is feeling sick. why would they call Y to help them out?
Fera is good at asking for help. She knows she needs it (unfortunately) and there's nothing productive about suffering alone. HOWEVER she would probably only ask Nala if it's dire and/or if Vera (her twin, ^^her character) is busy.
Nala is NOT good at asking for help. She'd probably only ask Fera for help if she found she couldn't suffer alone anymore or if Fera confronted her about disappearing
8. accidentally, X sees Y crying. would they say why, and what’s the fallout?
Fera crying is unfortunately pretty standard, do to her heightened emath powers. There would be a standard "is this you? Or someone else?" that Nala and Vera do whenever they find Fera crying. If it's someone else, Nala will either (depending on the person and Fera's state) leave with Fera or confront whoever's crying in /whatever way she deems appropriate/. ;) If it's Fera, she will take her into her lap (Fera is smol, Nala is a string bean) and comfort her until she's calm enough to explain what's wrong. Fera would come out with it eventually, she's (again) very in touch with her emotions. The only reason she wouldn't tell is because it's something Nala can't fix, or it'll upset Nala.
Generally Fera can catch Nala's breakdowns before they happen. But if she finds Nala crying, something is definitely wrong. Nala is very tough, and doesn't cry easily. Fera will do the typical comforting girlfriend thing, sprinkled with words tailored to the emotions she could pick apart from the sadness.
No fallout for either. They are too supportive and cute together
what do X and Y do when they hang out?
Is there a moment when they aren't together? They're very attached, and both protective of each other (but in different ways)
Buuut if they set aside time specifically for them, they'll go on cute dates, typically at the park or at a café. Or they'll go to the basketball courts, for Nala to shoot hoops and de-stress while Fera admires clovers, wildflowers, and her girlfriend. Or Nala will lay in Fera's lap and nap in the sunshine of Fera's garden, while Fera makes clay figurines and/or flower crowns

I'm going to do everyone I've introduced so far (and draft some I haven't. For later)
A New Infection Trio
Any shade lighter than royal Blue
Zach (A stickler for rules with leniencies of course, but steadfast and believing that everyone deserves good in life for the most part)
Dark green
Bella and Freddie (it's a little murky, not quite to be trusted to put anyone's worth above their own, but if they can save you and themselves, they will)
Fusion crew
Purple
Nala and Victor-Hecate (mischievous and tinged with pain and selfishness. They'll do their best to be good, but chaos calls)
Magenta
Fera (good and pure, but a little resentful of helping too much, whether it's her choice or not)
I'll leave this as an open tag! Please do it!! It's a lot of fun, and I don't want to restrict it in any way
for the ask game, could you do #4 for the new infection crew and #7 for fera, nala, and vh? <3
Thank you briar!!
4. How do you mainly show trust or friendship towards someone? Are you touchy and like cuddling, talkative, showy, or do you just like quietly being near them?
Bella: I definitely ramble when I trust someone. I didn’t talk much when I was younger, but my best friend got an earful every time I found out something new. I get worried about boring people. Or we’ll just sit in silence. I’m not a touch driven person.
Freddie: If I like someone, I’ll offer feedback on their ideas instead of insulting them. Oh, and I’ll face them when I’m in the same room as them, maybe ask what they’re doing. I’m not great at small talk, but I’d at least try if I like you, or trust you not to make fun of me.
Zach: I like everyone! Well, there are certain people I don’t like, but it’s still mostly true. If I trust someone? I guess I’d not smile as much. It’s a little exhausting to be upbeat all the time. And I’d let them do their own thing, trusting that they can take care of themself. I don’t like losing people that are nice to me.
7. What’s your favourite pastime on a rainy day? How would you share this rainy day with a friend?
Fera: I love crafting on rainy days! Those days are also perfect for me to do indoor plant maintenance - I’m trying to keep a bonsai tree, and there are some colorful succulents I keep on my desk. Oh oh! If there are ducks outside I join them, but Vera, my twin, always tells me off when I get inside. She says I’ll catch a cold. And board games! I love playing board games with rain pounding on the roof and lightning flashing outside.
Nala: Honestly, if I’m on my own, I generally catch up on homework. If I’m with someone, it’s really nice to cuddle under some blankets on the couch to watch something together.
Victor-Hecate: I play video games when it’s raining for sure. There’s something about it that makes doing anything else feel really draining, even stuff I love, like beam. And I like multiplayer games, so if someone is over, I’d ask them to join me. Or they can just watch. It’s fine by me
