Made a full body view of Fox/Ray.
Akira Watanabe was an old scientist who was once a member of The Council. After they discovered that he was creating strange half-human half-animal entities in his lab after the 1978 Incident, they banned him from the Council. He still practiced his work and somehow obtained funding to make one last creation: A hybrid of the sapient Vulpine race, and his own human DNA. Thus, Ray Watanabe was born.
Ray was born with a modified brain that allows him to retain insane amounts of information and rapidly learn anything. This led to him being raised as someone who can follow in Akira's footsteps: a scientist who can hopefully change humanity for the better.
Dr.Watanabe, in his advanced age, ultimately died in his sleep in the 2020s. Leaving Ray alone in a massive lab with no more funding. Watanabe's surviving human family discovered the old lab and sold it to scrappers, but Ray refused to give it up. When the scrappers arrived, he tried to fight them off with the best of his ability until he was talked down by a strange man with a wolf's head.

His chest isn't as big as it looks, it's mostly the lab coat seemingly increasing his size.
His arms look kinda fucked though, so I'm not very proud of this one. I rushed it tbh and I'll probably do a redraw to redeem myself.🥲I uploaded it just so I could say I made one of Fox to compare to Wolf.

Shieeeet I used to be so good at art. A lot of things went sideways in my life and I couldn't practice as much, so it fell to the wayside. Hopefully I can get this good again.
Feel free to ask questions about the context of this stuff. Most, if not all of it, is non-canon to how I currently view the F&W universe.

Ray was born as his fox form after being created from Dr. Akira Watanabe's DNA and the genes of a female Vulpine, an ancient race of fox people who existed before human civilization began.
This created a hybrid who had some human genes leftover that didn't really express themselves.
After Ray meets Roman and gets to know him and his skills better, Ray asks Roman to use his Genetifyer device to give him a human form, just like Roman.
Roman is reluctant at first, but he eventually caves and uses the Genetifyer to "exaggerate" the human genes in Ray so that he develops an alternate human form he can transform into. Calling himself Ray Jones and denoting himself as an Asian American, he now has a form to disguise himself. But for what purpose, you may be wondering?
To join The Council, in the hopes that he can get Roman's inventions patented without them knowing that it's from him.

I love emoting through glasses lol, who cares if it's unrealistic? It looks funny.
Just a few sketches of Ray to practice his expressions.
The glasses were originally Dr.Watanabe's from years before Ray was created. Ray was gifted them by the doctor only a few days before the doc died, since he felt that Ray needed them more than he did.
The glasses ARE prescription glasses, but Ray inherited Dr.Watanabe's early nearsightedness, so he doesn't get a headache wearing them.

This'll make more sense if I can get to the comic I have for the scene between Ray and Roman. It's pretty sad though.
