if there’s one thing I've learned it’s that “justice” has had so many definitions over the years with people more powerful than us having an effortless time bending that arc

I’m uneasy with the quote/idea “The long arc of the universe bends towards Justice.”
I don’t think it’s historically true, and I feel like it absolves us from our own responsibilities in the universe.
I’ve recently landed on:
“We must bend the long arc of the universe towards Justice.”
I think it might be an allegory to JFK and how his dad Joe was a Nazi sympathizer who infamously said Britain was done for in 1940?
