So, it is confirmed that the Percy Jackson series is finally getting its long overdue tv series that will do it justice, right? And the Percy Jackson timeline takes place from 2005-2009.
I have seen posts before about Percy liking punk/alternative rock rather than pop, which means that he would be listening to Green Day over Beyoncé any day.
The whole series is told from Percy’s point-of-view, so you can bet he probably had some songs get stuck in his head from time to time. Because of his music taste and the time period in which his adventure took place, I think it would be very suiting if the tv series adaptation used punk/alternative rock songs from anywhere between 2000-2009 for the soundtrack.
So, picture this with me:
In the season that will cover Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Titan’s Curse, this is going to happen:
“‘Stars,’ Zoë repeated. Her eyes fixed on the night sky. And she did not move again” (The Titan’s Curse, 278).
And the next thing we hear?
