Some facts you may or may not know about MCR: (yup, this is gonna be a series so... here's the first fact!)
I. "The black parade is dead!" and "¡Venganza!" were shot on the same day, 7th October 2007!
There are 2 kinds of people in this world:
• the ones who sing (concerningly) louder the verse "I don't wanna die,/ Sometimes i wish i never been born at all" from Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen
• and the ones who sing (concerningly) louder the verse "You should have raised a baby girl/ I shoul've been a better son" from Mama by My chemical romance.
And if i had to blindly make a venn diagram, it would probably be a circle
when I was a young girl…

Day 4: The MCR Song With Your Favorite Guitar Solo
Thank you Ray Toro!!!! Not much to say other than it just makes me want to jump off the second floor (in a good, "I'm gonna live forever" way)
Day 5: The MCR Song With Your Favorite Bassline
Just an extremely underrated song in general, not nearly enough people talk about it. And the bassline is absolutely PHENOMENAL and more people should recognize it.
Day 6: The MCR Song With Your Favorite Drums
LET ME GO

These drums are very good! There's really just something special about the drums in this song that itch my brain in a really nice way.
Day 7: The MCR Song With Your Favorite Music Video
Two-For-One "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" Special today! I mean how can you not love this music video (obviously it doesn't have to be your favorite, but you can't not like it)? It's just so fun, unique, and you can totally see the song being in a movie with the premise laid out in the trailer. I would have loved to see it turn into a short film at the time, though I think there's not really a chance of that happening now since you wouldn't really be able to use any of the original actors since they're all 20 years older now. Regardless, it's fun to imagine!
(And to let you in on a secret, me and my sister might dress up as Gerard and Mikey from this video for Halloween! All depends on if we can afford everything we need)
Day 8: Your Favorite Song From "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love"

Very good song that makes me feel nothing but happiness :)
Day 9: Your Favorite Song From "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge"
AGHHHH EVERYTHING EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS AMAZING AGHHHH
Day 10: Your Favorite Song From "The Black Parade"
I said this when I talked about it as my favorite mcr song, but I think it's one of Gerard's best performances and also the guitar (especially the intro) give me such this specific feeling I can't quite pin down. Really just a fantastic song.
I know day 11 is tomorrow, but
a) I don't want to forget tomorrow
and b) It would feel wrong to do the first three albums in the same day and then not do this one, so
Day 11: Your Favorite Song From "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys"
Yet another Two-For-One Special! This song literally makes me feel like I could fight God and win. Play this at anytime and it turns that experience into the most badass thing ever. This song gives me a feeling of hope, joy, and genuine will-to-live that very few other songs give me. This is easily one of my favorite songs ever and was also in the running for my favorite MCR song!
