you were just getting into the trauma room were saw a man that got hit by a bus, you cringed at the sight but went to him since he was your patient.
You went up to him and then right away Cristina wanted to be on your case, you let her since she was your sisters best friend and you wanted to be nice.
“Patients status” you turned to look at Cristina with a questioning look “umm, unidentified patient got hit by a bus trying to save a girl” you looked at her and smiled “okay can you page shepherd and Sloan here?” Cristina nodded and paged them
once they got here they cringed too at the sight “doctor shepherd doctor Sloan, we have a patient that got hit by a bus and he might have some brain damage and he’s skin is severely burned” shepherd nodded and went to check the patient out while Sloan on the on the other hand decided to flirt with you
“So little grey wanna go to dinner tonight?” You rolled your eyes at him “you do know I’m married to George right” he grinned “ well since he is joining the army i thought you wanted to have more options” your smile instantly faded “GEORGE IS JOINING THE ARMY?” Everyone turned to look at you “ he didn’t tell you?” You shook your head no “I’m gonna go call him, Cristina make sure the patient stays stable” Cristina nodded as you left
Cristina looked at mark with a furious glare “good job doctor stupid” Cristina always liked you as a little sister and she was protective of you.
You were trying to call George but he didn’t answer you were pretty bummed out so the chief gave you the day off since you wouldn’t be able to operate with out talking to George so you gave the case to Derek.
You were sleeping but then you got a call from your sister telling you to go to the hospital immediately so you did since you thought George was there if only you knew what awaited you
You entered and saw your sister looking down at her shoes actually everyone look weird you went up to your sister “what happend why does everyone look so sad”
Your sister looked at you with worried eyes she was scared at how you were going to react “umm it’s George” she mumbled “what” you looked very confused at her “George is our John Doe” you suddenly dropped your purse “i-is he okay” you asked shakily she didn’t answer so you took that as a no
You felt so overwhelmed like somebody ripped your heart right out of your heart you wanted to scream you wanted to cry you felt very negative emotion posible
You dropped to your knees and screamed at the top of your lungs “NO NO HE CANT BE DEAD NO” Meredith looked at you with sad eyes and hugged you as you cried “I need him mee I need him” Meredith started crying with you “please he can’t be gone he’s my life I need him please tell me this is a nightmare he can’t be dead”
Meredith helped you up “I’m so sorry honey I really am but it was his time he’s resting now” you shook your head and ran to his room everyone started at you with sad eyes you saw George laying there with no Heart beat no breathing visible you wanted to vomit
You cried a lot that night you felt like half of you was missing you didn’t know what to do anymore you missed work for a whole month but then you went back every single person looked at you with pity you hated it
But there is always a rainbow after the storm who knew your rainbow was right in front of you this whole time.
